This park is located by a casino in town. They were doing repair work on the trees and fence from a high wind and relocating a gift shop. It did not bother us that this was happening. They give you discount coupons for meals. We found a great bakery in Havre that we visited several times. We were unable to get either rooftop due to trees or carryout as people's rigs blocked it. We would stay here again. A funky way for hookups. If you park so you step out of the grass your water hose and electric must go under your rig and your sewer connection was in the street. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We took the Havre Beneath the Streets tour and it was excellent and worth a visit. We also went out to Fort Assiboine for a tour and that is done mostly from a golf cart with the guide showing old photos on his iPad while explaining what was going on. He had special memories on the date we were there as to what was happening before. We sang a song from the days gone bye. Loved the bakery!

We had been dry-camping for 4 nights so this was a wonderful treat for us: swimming pool, bar, grocery store, laundry, good electric service and two restaurants within walking distance. As others wrote, the sites are between the highway and a railroad line but the noise did not bother us at all. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this park. They are affiliated with the motel next door and offer a nice indoor heated pool with a sauna and poolside bar. There are very good restaurants within walking distance which gave us a break from cooking in. Our site was more of a parallel parking site than a pull through, which was ok for our class C with no toad, be tough with any other combo though, there were back ins available. The showers and restrooms were spotless and the park is clean and neat. Very helpful and friendly employees. The rail yard is right behind the park and Route 2 is in front so it is not the quietest park. We stayed here for one night and would certainly stay here again. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice overnight stop. Site (and sites) are parallel parking to a curb with water & electric plugin adjacent to the curb. Funky setup, but worked well. Closeby is a train/railyard. The noise was not all that bothersome. Restrooms although not used were spotless. Passing through, we would definitely stay again. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Driving in from the East, easy to swing into-did not have to come in through fuel filling station as previously noted. Motor home and fifth wheel spaces are easily moved into alongside a concrete curb-you are always on hard road surface unlike adjacent campgrounds that are a mud hole when it rains. The trains/road noise...not an issue-our sleep was uninterrupted. The showers and restroom although not used were looked at as very nice in appearance. Restaurants were within walking distance. Refueling was adjacent to campground and easily entered/exited. Passing through would we stay again? Definitely. We were here in a motorhome. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Highly overrated by Good Sam. The price is high, the park crowded. Our back window (back-in site) was 15 feet from the four lane highway. Our front end 250 feet from the main line Burlington Northern RR. Very noisy park. For wi fi and other amenities, one must go through the fuel station to the hotel. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Havre Emporium & RV Park is a decent RV park but overpriced given its location and features. Its best feature is its showers. They are clean and super private, unlike most RV parks. On the downside, however, WiFi is sketchy. I think they offer WiFi now (unlike not offering it in the past), but you log onto a network called "$24.95 per month." Odd. The pull throughs are not really pull throughs unless the park is empty. You park along the side of a center "boulevard" of sorts. So if there's a camper in front of you and one behind you then your only recourse upon arriving is parallel parking your RV. Many RVers probably would find that more difficult than parking in one of the spots where you back in. Park is located next to a BNSF rail yard, so at night your RV will shake when they are moving cargo through town and there are railroad sounds all night. Also, the spots generally are not large enough for your trailer or rig and your tow vehicle. And lastly, the sprinklers come on in the middle of the night and given the narrow strip of grass where you park, the side of your RV gets a good washing. Getting in and out of your RV can be difficult at best. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The best restaurants in town are 5th Avenue Grind, Grateful Bread, Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, and the Mediterranean Room, that is a short walk from the RV park is decent. I recommend their grilled chicken Caesar salad and chicken marsala. Otherwise for site seeing take a drive south into Beaver Creek Park for beautiful scenery.

Large rigs park parallel to the medium, while smaller rigs park around the circle drive. It's a tight squeeze for 40 foot rigs. Just enough room for your tow vehicle. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

This RV park is right on Hwy 2. And immediately on the other side is a major train depot. So you get noise in stereo. And this park is an unusual design. Not in a good way. It is fully paved. All sites do have full hookups. But the sites for rigs over about 25' in length are all curbside on a median. This means that water and power are on the wrong side of the coach. There is a sewer on both sides. There are lots of nice regular back in sites on the perimeter, but only short rigs will fit.

When we were there most of the longer sites were occupied by long term trailers. These were occupied by agricultural workers. The ones we met were from South Africa and very nice. But they are in the 20s and do like to drink beer outside. Since all the rigs open into the middle that means you may have a late party right outside your home, like we did. And then left over beer bottles and other trash all around your site the next morning. However, the loud beer party noise was much drowned out by the engine brakes of OTR trucks slowing down to our left and many trains on the right.

Nice staff. Very friendly to me. There is a large gas station next door for fueling up and casino. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Would have stayed at the Walmart in town if I had done my research. If You have a small rig this would have been OK but a large class A you have to parallel park and you have to worry about a slide being hit as it will extend into the roadway. Water/electric hookups on wrong side. Won't stay here again. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very tidy, paved, cement curbing but sites very short and small. The extra amenities (pool, spa) are in a hotel - to get to it you have to walk down the street, past a gas station. It is situated between the main highway through town and the railway. The night we were there the train was shunting cars all night with numerous blasts of its horn! Our first and last stay. We were just passing through. Being able to use the pool at the hotel next store was a plus. I thought the staff in the store were very nice and friendly. Spot was very narrow, no amenities. This is a pass through park, there are restaurants & little "casinos" around. Train horns and bells were a bit of a negative but we got used to them. No WiFi in the park, which is way behind the times, they said they are working on it. But the hotel has it so I went & used it on the pool deck while my son swam. RV guests are entitled to use pool and WiFi at hotel next store. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

Registration clerk was not friendly at all. The sites are very closely together. Pull-thru sites are around an island in the middle of the campground, resembles parallel RV parking. The hookups for the water and electricity are on the opposite side of the rig, had to run the water hose under the rig to reach the hookup. There is no WiFi available which is way below par especially for the price they charge per night. Nope, we won't be coming back to this one. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Here is one odd RV park. The outside of the park are all back-ins and you park your car in front. Sites in the inside circle, with grass, are horizontal parking BUT the water and electric are on the passenger side and the sewer is in the road itself...inside your space. Strange. The staff was helpful. Water leaked at the unit. They're replacing the valves one by one. There was grass there so it did not muddy up. The guy behind us left a ton of oil on the pavement after he left. I told the staff. "I'll be right out there to put something on it". Never happened. They have one maintenance person for 4-5 properties. Cozy place though. All of us RVers were close to each other and friendly. The railroad yard, right over the fence, was not a noise problem, nor was the street at night. It's the only real RV place in town. We'd come again. Oh, on the 4th of July, the ENTIRE TOWN's power went out. We ran our generator all night. Next morning, it still had not come back on. HUGE lightning storm barreled through. We camped at Havre RV Park in a Motorhome.

We only stayed one night. The spots are like a paved parking lot where you pull in horizontally next to a parkway. The parkway has sprinklers which go off around 7:00 in the morning and makes everything wet where you need to open the door. Access to the pool at the neighboring Best Western is available. The kids running the store were too busy on their cell phones to pay attention to the customers. Oh, almost forgot the train that passes right next to the campground and blows its whistle.
