I thought the price was pretty high for what we got, no cable and weak wifi, but the park itself is okay. Fairly level, but our site 41 had a tree when we entered that is BADLY IN NEED OF TRIMMING. No matter how wide we swung to get into our site, the branches scratched our RV...don't know why campgrounds don't check their trees more often. The water pressure was great (use a pressure regulator), 50 amp was good, but cost an additional $4 a day, sewer connection was in a good place, and they did have nice grass between each site. Sites were pretty close, but about average for most campgrounds. It was quiet and we heard no trains or highway noise. This park is about 7 miles from the interstate, and if you're traveling to Glacier, it's a ways out of the way if you're coming from the south, but I guess that's why it was quiet. We got decent over the air TV which we expected being in the capital of Montana. Wifi was very spotty...decent before many people woke up, but unable to use it by 8 am. The office staff said they had signed a contract recently to upgrade it. The sites were situated well for the afternoon shade, which that pesky tree did provide. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Quiet - that is what we are looking for! No Trains. No Interstate noise. Easy acces from the Interstate. But: overpriced, no cable and the (free) Wifi is NOT EXISTING. We don't know why they say it is free, it is just not here! Sites are very long but, when you have neighbors, it is very tight. Grass except gravel where you park and where tables are located. Park is very well maintained but that is it. Just great for a day or two doing shopping. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

All the shops you can think of are available in Helena - a 10 minute drive from the park. Great shopping just before crossing into Canada.

Good location out of town and away from interstate noise. Ten minute drive to restaurants, grocery store, etc. Clean, well kept park with friendly staff. Only spent one night there but would use for multiple nights if visiting Helena area. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

The rate included taxes and GS discount. Due to excessive rains, a lot of areas in Helena were flooded, but this RV park was high and dry. All sites in the park are level and all over night sites are pull through. Hookups were good. There is plenty of room for walking your dog. Several restaurants within an easy drive. If in Helena again, we would use this park. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Gravel pull-thru sites were level. Just an overnight stop, but the staff was very friendly and helpful. Laundry was very clean aith nice machines. A few permanent or long-term residents on the first few rows, but very quiet and peaceful. Each site has a nice area of grass and a picnic table. We used our awning and sat outside at the table. Overall nice stop. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I would have rated this park higher if only they had good WIFI. Even at 6:00 AM we could not get any connection to the Web. At $45 per night, other parks in Montana offer excellent WiFi. We pull a 43' fifth wheel with an extra long F350 truck. Entry into park is very easy. Staff is nice. Lanes are wide. Park is surrounded by lovely tall trees. Sites are gravel surrounded by grass. Some sights have a tall tree. Utilities are placed well and work well. No Cable TV. Satellite reception is good. Propane is sold in the park. WiFi is pitiful. AT&T Cell service good. Verizon Broadband is good: No Dog park No Pool No Play area for kids No Bugs We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice, clean campground with easy access from the interstate but far enough away to not hear the interstate traffic at night. Gravel sites and roads with grass patches between sites. Concrete pad for picnic table. We have stayed in other campgrounds on this trip where the sites were just as close together and more expensive. This is probably the nicest campground in the Helena area. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Must see the Montana State Capital building. A beautiful building. Also the Last Chance Train Ride is a good way to get an overview of Helena (it's a tram that takes you through the government buildings, downtown and through the mansion district while giving some of the history of Helena). The Montana Historical Society is also worth visiting. If you like wood fired pizza check out Bullmans Wood Fired Pizza. Great food and service along with reasonable prices.

We are full-time travelers with our 43' 5th wheel. An OK RV Park in that sites are quite long, but very close together. Adjacent site power pedestal and water is at the edge of each patio/picnic table at the next site. Wi-fi was one of the worst we have ever experienced in over a 100 locations we have been in. We ran several transfer rate tests. Best we observed was at 10:21 pm 8/26/2017 with a 7.5kbps download transfer rate and a 3.8kbps upload transfer rate. This was pretty consistent across 4 days. These were terrible transfer rates via a dial-up modem 20 years ago. Also, several nights we experienced complete water failure in the park. The management folks seemed nice, but these amenities were pitiful. Thus, wi-fi was unusable. Clearly we won't be back! We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park located about a half mile off I-90. Quick access into town. Permanent residents on a row of back-in sites but all the other sites are level gravel pull thrus. There is a well maintained grassy strip with a concrete pad and picnic table between each site but the sites are fairly close together. If you're sitting at your picnic table you're looking up at your neighbor in his rig. But, it's a good park and we will stay here again in our 40' motorhome. The price reflects the Good Sam discount but you'll have to add another $4 if you want 50 amp service. Power, WiFi and water pressure were good. They also have several back in dry sites in another section of the park. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

The location on the outskirts of Helena is good, away from some of the noise. Park was completely full our first night, so it might be a good idea to have a reservation. The layout is pretty good, all pull-throughs for travelers. There are some long-term people in backins along the outside. Sites are level, there are a few trees but majority of sites are sunny. Good grass between sites. It looks like the park is pretty well maintained and managed. The guy in the office seemed a little aloof at first but warmed up quickly and was friendly and helpful. Verizon cell and internet worked here. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice and clean CG. Easy entrance and interior roads were easy to navigate. But the pull-through sites are Very Close together. I could hear the TV in the camper next to us while we were in bed trying to go to sleep and they did not have the sound turned up too loud. The sites are just too close for me. I will probable look for another CG if we are ever in this location again. We camped at Lincoln Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The bad: Rates are high, but there is no real alternative in the area. There is a row of permanent residents, or about 25% of the park. Staff think they are overburdened because the remaining sites are busy during the summer, so forget any request for a change. To communicate with the office, we had to leave a message more than once. Sites are narrow, so you will be close to your neighboring camper. All gravel roads and sites create some dust. It would be a real improvement if they simply paved the entrance and the main roads. WiFi weak. The good: Good location to explore Helena, the lakes, hiking, and water sports. Easy on/off the highway. Pull-through site & navigating the streets was easy for our 43' motorhome and tow. Tips for other Campers:

Campground is actually closer to I-15. We were coming from Hwy-12, and navigated on surface streets. Google took us right to the campground with no problem. At the time we were there, road crew was working on a new traffic circle, so just a bit of construction. Not a big deal. Ate at the Grub Stake. Steaks were a bit overpriced. Broasted chicken was awesome, but be prepared to wait for it.
