My price reflects a decent Passport America discount, which is big reason I chose this park. Great park a reasonable distance from Glacier west entrance. Yes, it is hilly, with some sloping somewhat sharp turns as many have noted, but plan ahead and try to get a site that is suitable for your length. I paid $5 extra to reserve my specific site, and it was worth it to me. The roads and turns can definitely be challenging for bigger rigs (mine was a 34 foot fifth wheel.) Saw two big Class A's backing down hill behind us in order to get to a point where they could safely make a turn down towards the exit. Roads and sites are all gravel, fairly level in my row (but not so everywhere!), and well maintained - they periodically went around with water tank spraying to reduce dust. Short entrance driveway in some rough shape though, and rather bumpy. Nice trees through park, some sites private, some close together. WiFi was spotty and inadequate when park was full. Verizon good. No cable, and just a couple channels OTA. There is some road noise from busy Rt. 2, and BNSF train whistles. Very nice bathroom/shower and laundry facility. They have kayak rentals, but no propane. As bonus, there was a free concert one night we were there, with a decent folk/country oriented duo, apparently friends of the park owners. I would definitely stay again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of trees and shades. From the meadow by the office you have a nice view of the mountains. Campsites are located on a hill and some are tricky to maneuver into. Hook-ups were good. Only a small portion of the campsites had gravel, the rest were dirt and not level. This was the first Park we've been in that actually waters the roads to keep the dust down. The main entrance road to the park needs maintenance, very rough and bumpy. Our site was labeled a pull through but you had to back out because one end of the site was a hill and we would have scraped bottom. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We had site #5, an end site and it was great. Other sites pretty close together although they did have a row of bushes between them. On the side of a hill!! Needed to trim prickly bushes next to hook-ups and around picnic table! Wifi very weak! We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Beautiful campground build up the side of a wooded hill. Sites are gravel and ours was fairly level. Good access to the power, water and sewer. Enough room for our Toad, plus more. Spacious site. Nice picnic table and fire ring/grill. Easy access. Music and campfire on Wednesday night. Showers and bathrooms were immaculate and spacious. Close to the west side entrance of Glacier National Park. We will stay here again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Check-in by very helpful owners. One part of the park has spacious sites, the other part has more or less the standard dimension sites. Check the map on internet. Sites are not level. Restrooms and showers are very neat, compliments! About half the amount of sites come with a sewer connection. These sites are reserved months in advance. Mobile sewer pump-out service is provided on Tuesdays and Fridays for $10. A dump site is available, but check it before you drive through because the road is very narrow! Wi-Fi is only available near the office, too many trees obstructing the signal in the park. If you cannot connect at all, ask the owners to reset the router.. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Meadow RV park is just outside Glacier National park about 10 miles great place to stay to be close to the action but far enough away you don't have to deal with all the people and traffic. Nice fishing lake and great view. The campground is well kept but little hard to get around in big rig, sites are close but staggered nicely so you're not on top of each other. Very important to note that this is not a camp ground for a new driver, roads are narrow and lots of hills. Important to note they have some of the nicest cleanest bathrooms of any campground I've been in, also very nice laundry room and store. The only thing I would change was the shower stall did not have door only curtain, making it little uneasy/unsafe to shower alone. They have WFI but didn't work in our site #53 but ATT cell worked fine. We would stay there again if in area. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a uniquely designed camp. No two sites are the same. While some sites may be good with tree coverage, the site we were assigned was not good. We could not get our 43' motor coach level. The site was so narrow we had to park at an angle just to get our slides open. There was a dirt bank on one side and a steep drop off on the other. We were not able to open either of our canopies. This is no place for a beginner to practice. The interior roads are spider webbed and very difficult to navigate. The staff was very nice and helpful. They have a beautiful pond and a well developed pet area. This is very close to Glacier Park, which was the motivator for choosing this park. Utilities were all good. Internet non existent at our site. Verizon was workable. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

This campground that we arrived at here in Hungry horse is beautiful. It is just like staying in a 'National Forest' while still having the amenities of an finer RV park. The roads and sites are paved with gravel and each site is lined with trees. This is a fairly large facility that really puts you back in nature. Everywhere you turn there are pine trees, and greenery of all shapes and sizes. There is a beautiful little fishing pond, and convenience store. Their rest rooms and shower rooms are absolutely beautiful. There is a dog park and best of all, no Breed Restrictions. They just don't want anyone bringing 'Aggressive dogs' in to the park. Though some of the roads were a little tough to navigate with our 40 foot motorhome, we managed to get in and out of our site with a little creative navigating. Those in a 40 foot motorhome with a 'Toad', don't hook up until you are clear of your site! If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely stay here again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Very treed and the layout of the spaces made for seclusion in the front and back, although being somwhat close together. This same layout, along a hillside, was a detriment for navigating and levelling. I have never seen rules posted before, forbidding hanging out towels, even from swimming. No recycling bins were available except for wine bottles. If kids keep fish caught, cost is $1 per inch. OK campground but I would pick another spot and one closer to Glacier than 9 miles away. Well organized and maintained. Bathrooms excellent. Interior roads tight but manageable. They should cut some trees. Easy to tell which ones -- the ones with multiple places with missing bark. We saw two campers hit trees with their rig. Plenty of space between sites. Would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

One of my favorite campgrounds to date! Beautiful wooded campground just off the main highway to Glacier Nat'l Park from the west. Each site surrounded by trees (this means no satellite but I didn't go to Glacier to watch TV) and therefore very private and shady/restful. Sites (we were at two different ones) were both pretty level so not sure why this was an issue for others. Sites had picnic table, fire pit, and a decent size area for chairs, etc. to enjoy family and friends company around the fire. Large open area set aside with a small fenced area for dogs. The whole area could be fenced and would make for a much better dog park with room for them to exercise and play. Friendly staff that will even show you where the huckleberries grow wild that you can pick. Price of incidentals like firewood and ice were the same at the park as you'd find in town -- huge plus IMO. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for five nights, including the 4th of July. We loved it. Lots of shade. Pretty little catch and release pond surrounded by a nice little meadow. Roads maybe a little difficult for bigger rigs, but possible. The bathrooms were the best we've seen, must be new. WiFi nearly nonexistent, but the park was full. Sites not too small. Few mosquitoes. Easy drive to Glacier National Park. No sewer, but dump site available. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

Very wooded park, with great separation between sites. Interior roads a bit tight for big rigs, but manageable. Complimentary Missoulan newspaper in the mornings. Fishing pond on site, friendly staff. About 11 miles from West Glacier park entrance. No cable, no Sprint service, and only 4 channels picked up by antenna. Given the heavy woods, forget about using your satellite dish. My only real complaint with this park, was the poor if non existent WIFI. They advertised some sites with WIFI reception, and office was supposedly a hot spot. We were there 7 days and got on one day at the office for about 30 mins before being kicked off. Totally useless WIFI. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Motorhome.

If you have to stay here, then by all means bring plenty of leveling blocks. I do not think there is a site that you can pull in and be level. We watched several newbies come in and spend 1/2 hour to an hour getting the trailer level. The sites turned into a muddy mess after a two hour rain. Place could use 60 yards of gravel. Our site had a 10x10 spot of gravel, the rest dirt, (mud) Oh and the advertised WiFi, forget it., we were less than 50 yards from the gift shop and could not get a signal. The site advertises showers, but there are only 6 total for all campers, do the math with 53 sites, you better like a 11pm shower, The restrooms were clean enough, but the showers needed a good scrubbing. The RV dump is on a hill, so you cannot get your tanks emptied unless you are in a 14' long RV. After that your nose is pointing downslope about 20degrees. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park, but unfortunately we were not very happy with our site. We were given a very small site for our 40 ft. 5th wheel, and it was impossible to get level. We have an automatic leveling system, and in our 19 months of full-time travel so far, this was the first time we could not get level. We were staying there for 2 weeks and really wanted to be in a better site, but they said they didn't have anything else available. To be fair, the campground is really nice if you get a better site than we had. The sites are spaced out very nicely with trees so you have some privacy from neighbors. I wish more campgrounds were set up like this one instead of stacking everyone right next to each other with no privacy like most RV parks. Another thing about this park that we didn't like is the "kid tax". That's what our community of fulltime traveling families call it when an RV park charges extra for kids. Since our kids stay inside our RV that we bring with us, it makes no sense for RV parks to charge extra for them. Hotels don't do this and they have an extra bed to make. And this park didn't even have any kid-friendly amenities like a pool or playground so I'm not sure why they charge extra for them. The park has free WiFi which is nice, but we used our Verizon hotspot. Verizon coverage was very good there. It's convenient to the west entrance of Glacier. I also appreciated being able to receive packages there. Since we travel full-time it can be hard to catch up with mail and deliveries so that was a plus. Overall, we would stay here again, but if we do I just hope we get one of the nicer, larger sites. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park and Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.
