We had a great site in a new area. Wide site, farm field out the back. Quiet park. Some sections are wooded, ours had a clear view of sky for satellite TV. Pretty good Verizon cell and internet service. WiFi worked. Some areas had long time residents with old rigs, messy sites. Some roads were tight, others just fine. Woman in the office when we checked in was loud, complained about our checking in just at their checkout time. (Our site was already empty.) Park close to town but located in rural area. We would come here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park is a combination of mobile homes, RVs, and storage. They also allow tent camping. As for the RV part, there is an older section that is fully shaded with shorter, back-in sites. This section would be difficult to maneuver in a big rig. We stayed in a newer, full sun section (basically sites #71 to #89 on the park map). This section has gravel sites and roads. All sites are very long in this section. My pull-through could accommodate my 40 ft motorhome and still park a car at both ends. Site spacing is average for most RV parks. Your neighbors are close by. It was often dusty due to the gravel. All of the sites in this section face northwest, so you have shade on your awning side in the afternoon. My site had a picnic table on grass. This is a great park for children. They have a nice playground and a spring fed creek provides a shallow swimming hole near the office. Rubbermaid type trash cans are placed in several areas around the park and were frequently over flowing. They did not have a large dumpster anywhere and did not empty the trash cans often enough. The park provides cable TV. I could only pick up one major network over the air. Laundry room was nice. Mostly residential type top loading washers and industrial type dryers. They had one large capacity front loading washer that we used to wash our heavy bed cover. WiFi was great most of the time. There is an off-leash dog area near the entry, which is a long way from most of the sites. We would not hesitate to say here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a large park with all the amenities. Playground, swimming hole. Nice store in the office. We had a long pull through and didn't have to disconnect the toad. There were some long term campers. They had gravel driveways and gravel pads and mowed grass between each site.

They had screw in sewer connections. Water pressure was good. They had 50 amps. There was cable TV. Rubbermaid trash cans were placed around the park. The WiFi was outstanding with excellent response time. Verizon Wireless was 4 out of 5 bars; ATT wireless 5 out of 5 bars. There were some flies, but no mosquitoes. We would camp here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a large park with a lot of turnover and is comepletely full every night. It is a great value for the area. Some very wooded sites and others out in the open. Roads are a bit tight but manageable if people park their cars and trucks like they have a brain!

We had a 50 amp FHU site. It was plenty long and wide enough. Strategic placement of sites, fencing, and shrubs gives some privacy in the wooded section. Utilities all worked well although the water pressure was low at times. The wooded area has picnic tables and fire rings. Wifi is typical campground and worked well at times and non existent at others. Verizon 4G was good. Cable was good with 30+ channels. There are some seasonal sites near the front that are looking a little run down and really seem out of character for the rest of the park. We would definately stay her again. Glacier National Park is about 30 minutes away. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Interesting place. Year round park models, storage units, RV parking, and tent camping. Pretty quiet, but does have early morning air traffic from the nearby airport. Great location and close to Kalispell and Flathead lake, but about a 35 minute drive to West Glacier entrance, 1.5 hours to Logan pass, and 3 hours (one way) to the great hiking in Many Glacier area. Close to the newer shopping area for stocking up on supplies. This was our first visit to the area, and while this was an enjoyable park, we'll be staying on the east side of Glacier next visit for easier access to the Many Glacier trails. Our site, 51 was very long, nice empty field behind us and decent side yard space. Limited tree shade, but in the afternoon, the RV gave us plenty. Some tight turns and close trees/branches for big rigs, but not horrible. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you hike, Highland Trail is gorgeous and a must do! Incredible vistas, wildlife and an easier hike. It does get very crowded, so start early. Hidden lake Trail is also really beautiful, easier, and crowded. Apgar lookout is a decent, but a bit of a let down after the others we did. Road to the sun is a must, and a drive around flathead lake is highly recommended. Flathead brewing company is a great stop if you enjoy a good beer.

The staff was super helpful! The campground is wonderful for children because of the playground, pond and streams to play in. There are some sections of the park that are nicer than others but mainly because of the age. The laundry is really nice and $1 for washer and dryer which is very reasonable. Great area outside of the campground to take long walks with the dog. We had to move to another site for one night which was much nicer. 51B. Less shade though, but a longer site. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Our site was not in the better part of the park. There was a junkyard behind us with a wood fence around it and a permanent trailer across the street that was nasty. There is a little better area to this park. Request that area. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very quiet place off the roadway. Level back in spots although there are pull thru too. Clean restrooms/showers and pretty good size laundry facility. We pulled in here with a storm right behind us. We had lost our outside vent cover and had a hole in the top of the trailer. We had purchased a new cover to replace it but no way to get up on the roof to fix it since our trailer does not have a ladder. Mentioned this to the hostess when we checked in that we might have to go get a ladder and she had a ladder for us to fix it. Got it fixed just as a hail storm hit. We were close enough to the office so the wifi strength wasn't too bad. When making online reservations you have to call them after they receive it to confirm. I guess this is a safety feature and they take your credit card # to hold a spot. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

4 night stay, nice QUIET park-no traffic or trains! Convenient to Kalispell, Whitefish, Colombia Falls (I was here for softball games). Also good place to stay for Glacier National Park. Sites are pretty close in the new section. My only issue was that we ended up in a new part without a fire ring (but didn't notice til we were all set up). Also, there are permanent residences here, also, in another section. We were close to that section and the problem was that one of the residents left the house and a dog inside the home started barking. We left, came back 5 hours later--still barking. Left a voicemail for the manager (7:00 p.m.) and it wasn't long before he came around. Glad he was on top of things! We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is a mixture of storage sheds, permeant trailers, full-timers and mixed in is an RV park. The man at check-in was unfriendly but efficient. The whole park had a run down feeling after you left the entry. The hook-ups where good and there was a little grass that was half dead between the sites. It was fine for one night but would not return. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here, 3 nights and would return. This park has some nice amenities for kid. Very nice playground with western themed buildings, pond with shallow water and dock.

Not much grass but the site was level. Very nice staff. All the hookups were good, Wi Fi was spotty during peak times but Verizon picked up the slack. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects weekly rate. We used this park as our base for visiting Glacier Nat'l Park. We were about 30 minutes away so it a bit of a drive but that was ok with us. We are a 45 ft coach and tow a vehicle but were able to maneuver this park ok. Some of the areas we wouldn't have been able to so be sure and tell them your length as they have a lot of various size sites and big trees in some areas. There's a nice pond and play area for children, grounds are well maintained and staff was helpful and friendly. Kind of "out in the country" but the town of Kalispell is within 5/10 minutes. Out site was spacious enough with a picnic table provided. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.
