This is a very pretty park with lots of trees, and it is bordered by an open meadow facing the mountains on the outside loop where the cabins are. Staff was very helpful in changing our reservations and still getting us very near our requested site. A bonus for us was having nice laundry facilities onsite. Roads are paved, cable TV is good, and Wi-Fi is better than most. We really liked this place! We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed in site 61 for ten days. Glacier park was closed due to the fire. We enjoyed the view of the mountains once the smoke cleared. Convenient access to shopping since we towed a vehicle. Quiet park with lots of seasonals and live-ins, but well maintained. We would definitely stAy again. Nice playground for kids and a swimming hole. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Great rv park off of quite country road. Very little road or train noise compared to most. Staff has been very friendly and helpful.. We have stayed this summer and last summer for over a month each time. The rv park is always busy with activities for kids. Easy access to bike/walking path. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It is close to Glacier national park but it still takes a full day to visit Glacier. Visit Glacier Park; plan for the day. Karaoke Friday nights at 8, and dancing each Saturday night starting a 7 at the Kalispell Eagles. The Blue Moon is a Great country western bar on the road just ten miles north. Hike at Forrest Service access trail heads instead of Glacier Park as they will be less crowded. Bigfork to the south has a wonderful summer playhouse. Enjoy local cherries and huckleberries in late July early August.

Overall Rating:

Nice RV park. We were parked on the back row so we had a great view of the pasture behind the park with the backdrop of the mountains leading to Glacier National Park. The park is neat and clean but a little crowded. There is a section for the smaller RVs, and then the larger ones. There appears to be some seasonal campers, but it wasn't junky at all. The roads and sites are gravel with grass in between - dusty. It was extremely dry while we were there so everything was brownish. Our sewer hookup was up out of the ground about 5 or 6 inches so we had to jack up our 5th wheel so we had drainage. Otherwise the utilities were fine. They offer wifi and there was a repeater right next to our site. However, the choice of the park's wifi never came up in my computer. Kalispell is nice city and has just about anything you might need. It's a thriving town and the gateway to a beautiful national park. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly staff. Site was not quite level and very narrow, with just enough room to park our pickup across the front. Roads were narrow and tight to maneuver. The park was quiet with no road noise. It wasn't far to downtown Kalispell. We have stayed here twice and would stay again, for the convenience and price. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great, great dog park in nearby Whitefish. It is on the south side of Whitefish and the campground is on north side of Kalispell so it is not as far as you might think initially. Well worth the time to take your best friend there.

We camped here before a visit to Glacier National Park. We selected it as it was close to restaurants in Kalispell but not far to the park. The tent sites are located together across a small creek. They were adequately roomy. The restrooms required a code and were across the creek and playground area. It was quiet at night. A nice place to stay. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Tent.

A very nice park that we were able to extend an extra day when we checked in. We were assigned to camp on grass and we were backed up It a hay field. It was very quiet. We had excellent rooftop satellite and Verizon wifi there. They offer cable also. We had a major truck breakdown and could not extend in that site for another day. So they loaned us an older truck with a snowplow to move our rig. It worked. In the new spot we were unable to get rooftop or carryout satellite due to the trees. We would stay here again. They are open year round. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to West Glacier and Apgar Village for a visit. We liked Wheat Montana for their pastries and breakfast sandwiches so well that we went back several times. There is a great western store in downtown Kalispell. If you like bears and chainsaw carving be sure to visit Jeff Fleming's place. We love Kalispell and will go back again. They had 148' of snow at Logan Pass so in mid June the Going to the Sun road was not open.

Nice campground on the edge of town. Very quiet at night. If you want to use your satellite dish you need to stay in sites 71 to 85 due to trees in sites 1 to 50. Friendly and helpful staff. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Mixed feelings about this park. One section is older, in heavy pine trees. Another section is newer with more open feel. The park is clean, with level, gravel site. A few trees hang over the road, enough to scrape big rigs. Notified staff, pretty much ignored my concern. Sites are too close together, unless you get one at the end of a row. No pool, no club house, no activities. Have cable, weak WIFI, ATT and Verizon have good signal. All utilities worked well. Park is a few miles out of Kalispel. Decent value for Glacier Park access - 30 minutes. There are a lot of children running around, so it's noisy during the day. Would stay again, but try to reserve a specific site ahead of time. Cost is for weekly stay. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Lots of trees = lots of shade and some tight spots for big rigs. Not an issue for me. Far enough from town to be quiet and close enough if you need anything. Family friendly park with large play area and a stream running through. My second time here and it seems even better than last time. Wi Fi was usable this time. Several long term residents and even homes. Didn't see any issues with either. Would definitely return if in the area again. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

It's all about Glacier National Park in this area. If visiting in mid August the Northwest Montana State Fair is worth a visit if you enjoy smaller fairs with lots of 4H and teen participation. And on Main Street visit the Wheat Montana Bakery & Deli.

This park deserves a "10" if only they offered good WIFI. Even with the park half empty and at 6:00 AM - it was often impossible to get to the Internet just to check email. We pull a 43" fifthwheel RV with extended cab and long bed F350 truck. Entry into park is easy. You drive down a lane to the office so entry into park is easy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The main lane around the park is macadam. Other lanes and sites are gravel. Sites are long and large with lots of nice grass and apple trees. Beautiful views of tall pine trees and mountains. Utilities are well placed and work well. Cable TV is very good and Satellite reception is good also Propane in park is sold in the park. AT&T Cell service is good and Verizon Broadband is good. There is a small fenced in dog park at the front of the park. No pool but a very nice swimming pond and creek as well as an awesome play area for kids. No bugs. We cannot wait to return and stay longer next time. Gravel & Grass. Nice pine trees/small lake/ across from park is a nice walking/riding path Make sure to go to Moose's in town for pizza. It's cash only and definitely has some character, super fun! Also make the trip down to Flathead Lake and up to Whitefish Lake. They are beautiful . We stayed for a month in our 40ft fifth wheel. The location is great for exploring the Flathead area and the park though crowded had good people both long and short term. There are a lot of on site amenities for children and the laundry facilities were nice. The wifi was hit or miss depending on the time of day and the crowds. Our rate reflects the weekly rate divided by 7. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
