Tall pines provide ample shade, as well as, that nice pine scent. Nice walking path around the perimeter of park. Staff is frequently maintaining, keeping it clean, picked up and watering grass. Peaceful, easy feeling in this park. We extended our stay from three days to one week. Besides the park itself a highlight for me has been the Blue Mountain Trailhead. Highly recommend for walking or hiking at the very least take a ride there in Missoula. Very pretty area. Your dog will enjoy it also. Staff is very friendly. Some distant road noise from highway. Some dust kicked up when cars drive by. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

The park is in mature fir trees and is attractive and peaceful. Utilities are dated (no switch/breaker on electrical box) but worked fine. Bath/showers are clean but simple. Nice people. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Park is a few miles out of Lolo nestled in a ponderosa pine grove. I was given a gravel pull-thru site for my 42'5th wheel (54) that had plenty of room for my rig. My site had water, electric, cable, and good wi-fi, no sewer. Some site have sewer some don't. There is a pump out station in the park and a service will come and pump you out for $10.They like to square dance here, but I'm no dancer. Park is quiet and well maintained. The laundry is free, but you have to hang your cloths to dry. I didn't hear highway noise as I was in the rear of the park. Sites are fairly spread out and not close to the neighbors. I would stay here again. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful campground with large pines, good space between sites and the nicest owners you'll meet anywhere in the country. We moved sites when one by the creek opened up and because of it being early season we were by ourselves. We had a campfire and enjoyed the sounds of the creek. Beautiful facility with good wifi and very clean restrooms. Owners keep the grounds immaculate and we will highly recommend this campground to friends and family. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice shady park that felt more like a Nat'l Forest Service park except that it had hookups. Sites were worked in around existing trees rather than all in a row. Could have easily stayed here longer, except that we needed to move on and they closed in a few days (end Sept) for the season. As others wrote, very quiet and along Lolo Creek, about 2 miles beyond the Travelers Rest State Park. Very friendly management that drove you to your site. Most are back in, but we had a nice pull thru. Only real negative, would be more gravel at site so that it wouldn't either be too dusty OR too muddy. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

As others have said it's a nice campground. Quiet sites well spaced.

EXCEPT for the dust! When the wind blows the dust flows. When some drives through the dust flows. If you like to clean dust off everything this is the place.

Forget about satellite, and AT&T service is almost nonexistent. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very excellent campground - heavily treed with tall pines - dirt roads and pads - picnic tables - nice staff - escort to site - and dancing. Nice layout with sites fit between trees - not just row after row of pads - makes for large pads and nice spacing. Mostly backin but a few pullthrus. Maybe half the sites have sewer but they do provide a $10 pumpout on demand. Love the primitive forest feel. Some 50 amp sites. The wifi was a little slow on the fourth of July when the park was full. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here 3 nights on our way to Glacier. This place is nestled in large Ponderosa Pines. Our site was 30 amp, and water, gravel, fairly level pull through. Wonderful people in the office at check in. Cable was pretty good with 20+ channels. The wifi was typical campground and was good when it worked. Verizon 4g wifi was marginal. Access roads are a little tight for a large rig but can be easily managed if you take it slow. No dog park to speak of but plenty of open space for on leash walking. We would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice and peaceful park. Service is excellent. There is plenty of room to walk with or without your dog. Some sites have view of Lolo Creek. We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to our friends! Only draw-back for me was laundry area has only 3 cold water washers and no dryers but there are lines to hang your clothes. I went into Missoula to a laundry-mat and the found one right in Lolo. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed here twice going to and from Glacier National Park. Both stays were great. Lots of trees with good cable TV and Verizon cell service. Friendly staff. On our second stay I forgot my surge protector, I called them and they went and found it for me. He was great to work with and is sending it to me UPS. Can't thank him enough. Really enjoyed this park and highly recommend it.

Sewer at some sites, we were just overnighting so had a good drive through spot without sewer. Handy dump station if you need it. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I have been staying here for the summer for nearly 14 years, pulling in in May and leaving at the end of September. The monthly rate is great (though limited number available); the owner/operators are very conscientious of their property and it's amenities; and the setting along the Lolo Creek in well-established pine forestry is amazing. A fifteen minute drive to Missoula provides the city-life amenities I use, but the RV park provides the country-life quiet and freshness I prefer. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The owners have recently made some major improvements on the property including selective removal of trees that really enhances the beauty of the park and installation of wi-fi service to the far stretches of the park. My two dinner tips, drive south to Hamilton (a 40 minute drive) and eat at Spice of Life, you will not be disappointed. For the steak eater, the Lolo Creek Steakhouse is less than two miles from the RV Park, and is consistently above average.

This is camping in the woods with gravel winding roads and trees. Our site was fairly close to the road, so there was quiet a bit of road noise. Other than that, it was a peaceful pleasant place. While some site are close, out had lots of space. We would stay again. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Another- great stay since our last visit a year ago. A forest environment with stream running in back of the park. Many pros - friendly staff, level sites with grass, good WiFi, and quiet setting. Verizon cell/data were very strong, cable and OTA TV fair, and full hookups worked well. Only downside is the dust since the interior roads are dirt, and new this year, annoying speed strips. But still the best value if you're visiting the Missoula area. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park with tall trees everywhere. The front desk was extremely nice and showed us to our site. This park had a welcoming attitude from the front desk to the other campers. Utilities were located in the proper spot and worked well. Our rig is 40' long. We camped at Square Dance Center and Campground in a Motorhome.
