Best park to stay at in Great Falls. There is no shade, but everything is very clean, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. No cable, but we were able to pull in 10 channels.
The pull-through sites are reasonably wide, with level concrete pads in the middle. Plenty of room for our 32 ft trailer and full sized truck.
Very close to town and Base Security passes through several times a day at irregular intervals.
The only downside is, it is a military base. They sound Reveille at 7:00 AM, Retreat and National Anthem at 4:30 PM, and Taps at 10:00 PM. There were also helicopters practicing at some strange hours, but not every night. We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

Camp is meticulously cleaned and well maintained. There are few trees, all sites are pull through. There are playgrounds for children and there is enough space for families to enjoy themselves. The WiFi is intermittent but does reach the sites. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Travel Trailer.

Previous reviews are still valid. This remains a good RV park for the eligible camper. Sites are paved with concrete slab in center for RV. Our site sloped from front to back but not beyond tolerance of leveling jacks. Park WiFi worked well and both ATT & Verizon had strong signals too. They don't take reservations but if this camp is full, Malmstrom AFB has another FamCamp inside the base perimeter. We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Fifth Wheel.

What you'd expect from an Air Force operated campground: Neat & clean, orderly, consistent services, safe pedestal power & sewer access, laundry room. All well maintained & overseen by campground hosts. Out on the high plains and an easy few hours drive to Browning and then East Glacier. And Great Falls, MT is a great place to stop for a meal or great coffee & pastries before hitting the road! Morning Light Coffee Roasters downtown, if you're a coffee lover! Easy RV access to park on the street around the corner. I love surprises on the road like this experience! We camped at Gateway FamCamp (Military Camping Only) in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at the Gateway Park which is off-base just outside the main gate. All sites have concrete pads with electric/water/sewer at the site. All sites have a grass area, picnic table, and a grill. Cell phone reception (ATT) was great. Satellite TV reception was no problem. Bathrooms and showers are very clean. Laundry is a real plus. This is a great park to stay in prior to heading to/from Canada. After driving from Alaska to the Lower 48, this was a great place to stop and recharge. I will definitely stay here again.
