Paved roads with gravel pads. You have your choice of open, shaded, or partially shaded spots. They are 3 fenced dog areas, a pool, adults only hot tub, solid full hookups, okay wifi, an onsite retail store, and clean bathrooms and showers. Every big box national chain has a store on Reserve street walking distance away. This is our third time here since 2010. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

very busy park that books up early so call ahead. We were on the main drive in and the traffic speeds were a factor if you have Children or pets. The park is right in town and is surrounded with mobile homes. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Big rig friendly with level sites. Easy on/off access to I90 and Hwy 93. Showers, laundry, and WiFi was good. Had three large dog parks with bags. Cable was good and no problem with our satellite. Large campground and great for walking. Site was long with parking beside rv for truck. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for an overnight, after leaving Glacier National Park. The staff was friendly. Used the laundry room, which was great. Enough washers and dryers and very clean. We also had cable tv, which we hadn't had in two weeks, so that was a nice touch. The campground also offers ice cream in the evening and a buffet breakfast-for a fee. Again, nice if you choose to use these services. There was a swimming pool, and I think, mini golf (not sure if there was a fee for the golf). The park is close to the main strip, which is filled with stores (a busy highway, though so you would have to drive). So, why did I rate this campground a seven? Very close sites and I wondered about the campsites around the perimeter of this campground. They weren't regular campsites. I felt just a tad edgy about them. Probably just me. And, no fire ring at the site, unless you paid extra. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

Easy to get to, not counting the traffic, off of the interstate by follow the directions in your confirmation email. We had to settle for a site without sewer and the navigation to get to the site, and to the dump station when leaving, required a lot of looping around in the park. Electric and water were fine. Roads are paved and site was gravel and level with a little grass on each site. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

They escorted us to the site. The escort didn't like that the passenger side wheels of our tow were on the grass so we had to unhook and repack. Not an issue since we planned to unhook anyhow. Nice site. The campground is very family friendly with lots for kids to do. There was a dog park very close to us. Internet was average. Slow. Cable worked well. Overall Rating:

This was a one-nighter as we were making a beeline for the Oregon Coast to find cooler weather, and it did well for a quick stay. It has somewhat complicated access from I-90, with some congestion and traffic and the park being almost embedded in a residential area. Staff was friendly and helpful enough. Interior roads are relatively narrow, but we were able to maneuver a big rig through. Our site may have been the widest pull-through we've ever had, with an area almost as big as a second site for parking our toad. Power was good (A/C running full time during the day), Wi-Fi was poor, DirecTV was good, and OTA wasn't available. VZW was good and Sprint was not. There are numerous perma-rigs (long-term residents) but the park boundaries with what looks like an aging trailer park aren't well defined. Like many KOAs, it's tough to say this is a good value given the cost, but reservations via app, discount, and predictability all make things easier. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

The site was a pull-thru and were cozy to your neighbors. Was guided to the site and all staff were very helpful. Hookups were fine and we had FHU site. Site was also mostly shady. Parking on grass is not allowed. Interior roads are paved and well marked but are tight for some bigger rigs. Pretty easy access to I 90 and and near lots of stores/restaurants. Bathhouse was clean and well maintained during our stay. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed at this KOA because it was close to the Mercedes dealership that we needed to visit the next morning for some RV repairs. The KOA is surrounded by a trailer park (many of which, were not in very good shape, which was a little disconcerting to us). That said, the park itself was quite okay. Some spaces had quite a bit of shade, unfortunately our's did not. There was a pool, miniature golf and playground. The camp store was a good size but I was a little disappointed in the frozen food section. Usually, there are a lot of options like pizzas, lean cuisines, and other microwavable selections but this one only had a couple of items and after a long day of travel, we just wanted to dine in. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained even though they're a bit older. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The last few times (see my 7/16 and 7/15 reviews) we were unhappy with this park. Since we were able to get one of the cheaper (for <35' RVs), FHU pull sites for just $46 (before KOA discount) for a weeknight stay. The site had cable TV and (surprise) it was satellite TV friendly. The Wi-Fi was fine for our minimal (e-mail and web surfing) needs. Because we were there for just one weeknight, we did not run into some of the problems we did when we stayed over crowded weekends in the past. The bathrooms and laundry were clean this time. The park has very good recreational facilities. We even managed some not too crowded pool time this stay. There is recycling. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

I stayed at this KOA for 4 days. It is one of the nicest campgrounds that I have stayed at. Clean and well maintained. The hosts were very nice. I was impressed that there was someone going around on a regular basis. While I stayed in an RV, I was very impressed with the tent sites. There are a variety of sites from basic to more deluxe and nicely maintained. Restrooms and showers were extremely well maintained and clean. Loved the dog runs that were available. A nice perk is that they provide you with a newspaper each day. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.

We stayed 2 nights in late October. Rate reflects off season (water turned off Oct. 15), in a deluxe spot with extra parking, KOA discount and $4 off Hot Deal for booking on line.

The park celebrated its 50th year in 2017. Some of the trees are original. It's a well planned Park with plenty of room between sites and most get some shade. Breakfast is available daily and ice cream makes a showing once a week. Open year round the park is a great stopoff point for Missoula attractions or further travels. It is close to the interstate and the roads into the park are very good. Since it is in the city amenities abound. We camped at Missoula KOA in a Motorhome.
