Really friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice view into the mountains behind Philipsburg. Not much atmosphere in the rv park itself but the location was perfect for a one night stay and close to town. Bathrooms were clean. Would stay here again. We camped at The Inn at Philipsburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Go to Montana Gems of Philipsburg to mine for montana sapphires. They have a great setup there and are very friendly. Boheme Coffee Shop has delicious breakfast sandwiches.

Very small but nice and clean. Area is very open and sites are spacious. You can't beat the price. Bathrooms and laundry are tiny but clean. Hosts were very nice. We camped at The Inn at Philipsburg RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Perfect place to camp as many cool things nearby to do. Sapphire mine is only 20 minutes away, cute downtown area is within walking distance. Ghost town is about 10 minutes away and fly fishing is about 15-20 minutes away. Worth staying here!

Overall Rating:

As has been previously mentioned, this is a no frills park, but it does have full hookups, and is close to town. More than acceptable for a few days stay. Friendly staff. There is Verizon 4G phone and data coverage of the Park. Take the Broadway exit off Highway 1, at the Sinclair gas station. We camped at The Inn at Philipsburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a no frills park on the outskirts of Phillipsburg. We selected this campground for its convenience to the gem stores and mine. The owner was quite nice and friendly. This is not a park I would select for a long term stay, but for an overnighter, it was okay. There is full hookup, but no shade. We were in site one which was right off the highway and somewhat noisy. The folks in town were very friendly. We camped at The Inn at Philipsburg RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We found this campground in the Philipsburg Paper of "things to do in Philipsburg". The small paper was part of the visitor information in the Montana Welcome Center. This is a very small, no frills campground and Inn/Motel. We found it quite adequate for our 2 day stay in the area. Not sure but do not think there are but a few 50 amp sites. You would have to call for a reservation is you wanted 50amp. Many campers were turned away because of the limited space. We were concerned about 2 large dogs penned because they were barking when we arrived; however there was no excessive barking during the day and none at night. We would stay here again. We camped at The Inn at Philipsburg RV Park in a Motorhome.
