Overall Rating:

If you're thinking about staying here, I would strongly encourage you to read all reviews. Some negative reviews are posted by non-lot owners. Positive reviews are posted by lot owners. This is not a "resort". It is an RV park with nice views, paved roads and beautiful, level, spacious sites. The KOA actually adjoins the "resort". This park is not gated, nor does it have a fence or any special amenities. I'm not saying that the resort is claiming these things but if you are expecting a "resort", this is not the park for you. This is basically an extension of the KOA but the lots have park-like settings. It is a Class A RV park but not a resort. If you have a Class A, it's a very nice place to park and it beats trying to wiggle your bus through the KOA. Should you decide to stay here, ask for a lot that is not close to the main KOA entrance. The traffic is non-stop and it will take away from your visit here. The price is a bit steep for what is offered. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Pete's Bar and Grill is located across the street from the park entrance. Great food and the best salmon I've ever tasted. I would also recommend eating at Finley Point. The restaurant is a short 15 minute drive from the park to the other side of the lake.

Polson Motorcoach Resort, manager at Polson Motorcoach Resort responded to this review

We don’t know where you are getting your information about who is writing our reviews, but we can say that our owners rarely, if ever bother to post reviews. Our resort has their own fitness and business center, as well as laundry/bath/shower facility. There is a fenced in dog run with water access for pets. The trash is picked up twice a day at your curb, and our grounds are well kept. We also have weekly resort activities for our owners and guests, such as games, potlucks and a happy hour. These activities do not include the KOA guests. We are disappointed to hear that we don’t meet your definition of a resort. We are located on the west side of Polson, which is a resort community. There are 5 top rated golf courses in our area, as well as boating, rafting, horseback riding, museums and a number of other tourist attractions and activities.

We have been site owners for 5 years. This explains the $1 nightly rate because as owners we only pay our electrical. The Resort is in a beautiful location looking out over Flathead Lake with the Mission Mountains in the background. We look forward to the 4-5 months we spend here every year. The owners and staff are helpful and hospitable. They go out of their way to make your stay a pleasant experience. Interior roads are paved. City water. Park is landscaped with lovely flowers and grass mowed weekly. Twice daily garbage pickup, Sunday morning pancake breakfast. Potluck dinners every 2-3 weeks, Happy Hour with appetizers, beer and wine every Friday, special event dinners with games and prizes as well as game days for the ladies are well attended and fun. We have made many new friends here and look forward to our time here each year. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We spent three weeks in the resort located just east of Flathead Lake in Polson and easy access from US 93. The roads through the resort are paved and easy to navigate; one drives to the rear of the resort, removes the car and gets an escort to the site. We drive a 45ft MH and got into our pull-in site without difficulty. The resort is very nice with well-manicured grass and many flowers throughout. Our site was concrete and roomy with a patio with built in grill and outdoor furniture. Some of the sites throughout the resort were pea stone and not all were developed. Our site was level and the coach leveled easily on the jacks, although some sites had quite a slope from back to front. There is grass between sites which are quite roomy. The utilities are to the middle of the site, sewer more to the rear and worked well. Sites are satellite friendly and we received good OTA reception. Verizon signal was medium strength. We were unable to connect to the Wi-Fi signal although we tried many times and used out hotspot for internet activities. We did not use the laundry or rest rooms so cannot comment on that. There is a small, fenced dog area to the rear of the resort. The resort is right next to the KOA and our particular site was on the main entry to the KOA. This made it very busy with lots of traffic coming and going. Office staff worked in the KOA office and were very helpful and friendly, both by phone and in person. There are no activities for children within the resort per se but there is a pool and playground in the attached KOA. Although the park is very nice, I am not sure we would stay again for any length of time. The price was very high for what was available, although the KOA was right next door, the Motorcoach Resort itself had no pool and limited activities. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a great location from which to visit the Flathead Lake region and an easy drive to Kalispell, Bigfork, National Bison Range, and many other attractions. We found pickleball courts in O'Malley park although there are no nets. We met a wonderful group of folks that play on Monday, Wed, Fri morning, and bring their own nets. They were very welcoming.

We have been lot owners for three years and love it! Yes, it is "spendy" as they say in Montana, but it is beautifully maintained, close to town and many interesting sites. Management is conscientious and immersed in running the place. The adjacent KOA has made it convenient for our visitors, too. The negative comments I have read seem to be a result of individuals who in general are not happy! It is a small "community" so of course there are some disagreements, but we have met and enjoyed the company of many fine people! This is a special place! This park wants to be in the big league, but it just doesn't know how to do it. As you drive up the road, you notice the green grass and high dollar big rigs. In truth, the sites are ownership types and most of them are decorated A+. That's because they don't rent them out. We got a level, concrete site with grass only. The neighbor 's site was 15' away. NOW here's the funny part. The KOA campground next door is the same management owner. If you want to use the pool, that's at the KOA. If you want to use more than one clothes washer at a time, that's at the KOA. Supplies? At the KOA.. The sites are clean, everything works, satellite signal is good, But you get the same conditions at a $50.00 a night resort. All employees are from the KOA. Think twice about this place. We advertise that we are an ownership park, and in fact at least half of our owners do rent their sites when they are not using them. Each site is 40 feet wide, providing very spacious outdoor living area. We do share the pool with the campground, and there is a large laundry facility there as well. However, the laundry facility in the resort has 2 washers and 2 dryers. We are rated at 10/10/10 and have a waiting list for reservations.

The park is primarily an "owners" park. the sites are landscaped beautifully that are individually owned. If the lot is owned by the park, it's just gravel with a picnic table. The wifi is virtually non-existent. They offer a wifi upgrade for $5.00/day (on top of the 120) really?? The upgrade is a waste of money as the wifi is horrible. The owner was very contentious about why we decided to leave a week early. For her it is all about the money. They should have a clubhouse/restaurant for the price that they charge. A private pool would also of been nice. The Polson Motorcoach park is just a place to park your coach. We would not stay here again. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Polson Motorcoach Resort, manager at Polson Motorcoach Resort responded to this review

The Polson Motorcoach Resort is in fact a Motorcoach condominium resort, where people purchase the lots. The majority of the lots have been improved, but there remains a handful that have not. However, the lots are all 40 feet wide, with full hookups and offer plenty of space. We are located on a terraced hillside with gorgeous views of Flathead Lake and the Mission Mountains.

We do have a great WiFi system. I wish you would have contacted the office for assistance. In most cases when guests have trouble getting on our Wi-Fi system it’s because they’re not following the steps properly.

We were disappointed to see your review, as we receive compliments about how beautiful the sites and common areas in our resort are.

Very nice park. Wide areas between sites. Regular sites gravel. Owners sites are cement. Lots of grass. They have activities for guest who want to join in. Some lots have a better view of the lake than others. Close to small airport but it's fun watching the smaller planes take off, several restored plans. Airport is not a noise issue Bottom lots on lower road a little tricky getting in especially long wheel base 45' coach. The park is a very friendly place to stay. Great friendly owners who spend several months here during the summer. Always very helpful. If you want to stay here for a few weeks book way in advance. Very short stays not a huge issue. Tips for other Campers:

Rent a boat! Largest lake by area west of the Mississippi. Areas to get out of the wind if it comes up. Explore the river below the bridge with your boat. Kayaking is lots of fun Bison National Refuge is a 45 minute drive. It's a driving tour in your vehicle with a couple of small hikes. Saw lots of Buffalo, deer, several black bears (one while hiking) antelope, and other animals Whitefish is an hour drive. Beautiful!! Good hiking there. See the Railroad Museum.

This is what I think of when I hear "motorcoach resort." Very nice, clean park with great views of Flathead Lake and the surrounding mountains, even from inside our coach. Interior roads are paved and easy to navigate. Our site was concrete as are most. There are some that are still gravel. Our site (169) had a great outdoor kitchen and furniture with fire pit. Many sites, like this one, are privately owned so the amenities vary depending on what the site owner has done with it. The amenities and type of site also dictate the price. Wifi wasn't very good but my Verizon MiFi worked good and allowed me to work as needed. This park is right next door to their KOA park, which looked like one of the nicest parks I've seen with the exception of this class A only park. We also had access to the KOA amenities like the pool, playground, and putt putt golf (fee to play golf). I would definitely recommend this park and hope to stay here again. The Polson Motorcoach Resort is located in front of a KOA, however there are two separate entrances. To enter the motorcoach resort, drive past the resort, turn right, and pull into a holding area. Call the office and personnel immediately come to escort you to your site. Once settled, head to the KOA office to complete the check-in process. There is a very small pool on the KOA property, shared by both parks. (Tip: if you like to swim, head into Polson, to the newly-built Aquatic Center, and buy a pass for the length of your stay. Wonderful facility for swimming laps.) The park has a nice view of Flathead Lake. The motorcoach sites are long and level; some are gravel and others are concrete. Since it is an ownership resort, many sites have built-in amenities, such as outdoor kitchens, fireplaces, and TVs. The cost of your stay depends on how extensively the site is equipped. A newspaper is also provided each day, if you stay for a month or more. Planned dinners and resort get-togethers occur weekly. There is a local airport in front of the resort and it was enjoyable to watch planes take off and land, especially when the ultralight fly-in occurred. This wonderful Resort is for class A only, staff were very helpful from the moment we arrived and we were escorted to our site. Interior roads are paved and big rig access is good. We had a beautiful tier two developed pull in site which was very spacious, plenty of space for our towed and lots of privacy due to the incredible landscaping. We had beautiful patio furniture, and a few steps down off the patio we had a gas fire pit and more comfy furniture. The views over the mountains and Flathead lake were stunning. Despite being adjacent to a small local airport we found it to be quiet, and enjoyed watching the few small planes that took off and landed here. Main bathrooms and laundry were up at the adjoining KOA, both were spotless, and there was a small satellite building with more bathrooms and small laundry. Very pet friendly with a dog run, pick up bags and disposal station. Wifi was poor but AT&T was good. There are plenty of food stores and restaurants in Polson. We would stay here again, however we felt the price was a little high, but justified by the great views. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

This rate reflects a 30 day stay. The location is fabulous with views of Flathead Lake and easy access to downtown Polson. The check in process was simple. We stayed in a back-in site and with the help of the camp host was fairly easy to get parked and level. This is an ownership resort with several lots in their rental pool. The resort provides activities for the guests of the resort (potlucks, yoga, Friday Happy Hour, pancakes on Sunday). We had good cell coverage and data speeds on both our Verizon and AT&T hotpots. Polson Motorcoach Resorts sits right in front of a KOA. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

What a nice Resort. We stayed just after the 4th of July. The sites overlook Flathead Lake and are very clean and comfortable. There is a mix of basic and built out sites. Our site had a full outdoor kitchen and fire pit. The gift shop was awesome with lots of very unique things for both you and your coach. There is a small airstrip right in front of the resort that would have been the only drawback, except we used the chance to go up on an Air Plane ride with Blue Goose Aviation. What a treat to see the lake and Mission Mountains from the air. You are about 45 minutes for Glacier Park and the West Entrance. Glacier was awesome!!

Top class resort. Class A only.

Terrific views and close to Flathead Lake. A small private airport is adjacent to the park, apparently some owners park their Provost for the summer and fly in and out from their home.

Great sites a lot of which are owned by individuals. Ours was equipped with table and chairs and very comfortable loungers. A few steps down to another level where we had our own gas campfire with a marble surround and more comfortable chairs.

Very helpful and polite staff.

All the roads within the park are asphalt.

We had a parking area for our toad on the site

There are quite a few opportunities to socialize including happy hours and pancake breakfasts.

Not inexpensive but well worth it in our opinion. We used our time as catch up and enjoy a relaxing stay rather than a stopover. We camped at Polson Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.
