A great location to begin an adventure! Located on the south side of town - that's the side that is past Red Lodge and at the beginning of the Beartooth Highway.

There are two sections to this park - above and below. The "below" section is along the Rock Creek. You can hear the creek from almost any site in that section. I travel in a 38 ft fifth wheel and was definitely able to navigate the lower section.

The manager is friendly and helpful. She has much information to share - especially about the Beartooth highway and Yellowstone National Park. They are installing new bathrooms. Each site is water and electric but they do have a RV dump.

Red Lodge has great restaurants - I recommend the Red Box Car (at south end of town) and Bogarts (for GREAT pizza) - and originating from NJ, I KNOW great pizza! We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed a number of times here, always in late September early October.

I usually camp off grid but stop at a full service campground now and then for a shower. At least in the fall this is a very nice quiet campground and at that time of year not crowded. I love the sites down by the roaring stream.

This one is always on my radar if I'm passing through Redlodge. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Truck Camper.

We stayed in site #30 which was really too small for our 30' fifth wheel. The electrical outlet was in a good location and I had a choice of water spigots to use. One was about 30' through bushes on the left and the other one was about 30' to the right that had to go under the RV and hook up at the adjoing site. Our left slide pushed up against tree limbs and the awning on the other side could only be put out about 4' before hitting a tree. This site may have been o.k. if a few small trees and bushes had been either removed or trimmed. I made reservations months in advance and wasn't asked to give a deposit. My mistake was not calling a couple weeks before we arrived to confirm because I got the feeling that, upon arrival, we were not expected. Some sites down by the river are very nice. The dump area was easy to access and worked well. This campground, although a little rough around the edges is in a great location. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

A trip on both The Beartooth Highway and Chief Joseph Trail are fantastic and should not be missed. If you go around Sturgis Rally time be prepared to share the road with thousands of motorcycles.

We stayed here in a 33 foot toy hauler. We were in site 41 on the creek, it was a great site. Restrooms were OK. New ones are being built which is needed. The owners are very friendly and always around. Getting to your campsite can be tricky if you don't follow the owner who is leading you to your site. Sites are relatively private and a good amount of room. Sites are level. Beartooth pass is easily accessible from here. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice folks run this place that has nice sites down by the river which sounds great. Bathrooms & showers are clean & fine. Convenient water & electric hookups. Would definitely stay here again. Located about 2mi. south of Red Lodge so it's very quiet. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Couldn't say enough good things about the people who run this. Great location to Red Lodge and the Beartooth highway. The sites on the lowers section could take a little effort to get into depending on the size of your rig, but the management helps you and really its not too big of a problem. Beautiful location! Upper sites are pull through and near the road but honestly there's not much road traffic and at night there's virtually none. Verizon worked OK. I'd give it a ten if it had sewer. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Red Lodge is a charming town, Beartooth highway is a must do!

The park has two sections, creek side, a pretty treed area, mostly for smaller RVs, and road side for larger RVs. We chose a road side site for ease of access. The sites are long, but only moderate in width and levelness. Water and electric worked well. There's some road noise; creek side is much quieter. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. No Wi-Fi, but AT&T 4G coverage was good. There's no on-site sewer, but the dump station was easily accessible. There is a reasonable amount of space to walk dogs. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Road construction on US Rt. 212 from Laurel results in travel over bumpy dirt road. It's pretty nasty.

This was a pleasant surprise! The Chamber recommended and did not disappoint. From the entrance it is not possible to see the waterfront spaces. But we stayed nose into the river view which babbles and bubbles. Beautiful clear water. The owner was quite helpful. Verizon access was good. We had easy access down the road behind the office in a 37' class A...and a tow. Pump station available on the way out. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

In the Red Lodge area there is little to choose from for parks with hook ups. This place on the surface looked a little disappointing. Then we met the owner, what a nice person. There are a few sites with pull-through; I think a couple have full hook up, otherwise it is water and electric only. We had no problems with a 40ft MH gettting to our site . Lovely venue on Rocky Creek which is great for trout. There tends to be a line for the dump station so plan accordingly when leaving. We will stay again in the future. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

A nice campground. A little rough around the edges but still a nice little place. The owners couldn't be nicer. Gravel/dirt pads and pretty level. Sites are a little close together. If your in a Mega motor home it may seem a bit tight in spots, but we had no problem. Some sites are right on rock creek. We've seen deer in the park and we hear that moose are in the area. This park gives the appearance that it is right on the road and there are some sites that are, but the majority of the sites are down in back by the creek with nice shade trees, we heard very little road noise. We would come back here if we are ever in the area again. It has water and electric and no sewer but they do have a dump station and my internet came in very good also very good Verizon cell service. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Steep road going down to the sites near the river and the sites by the road (don't have to go down the hill) didn't look very inviting. The pull through sites by the river are a little tight (width and height) and aren't on the river. The river front sites are all back in and wider. Great tent sites are available, but we were disappointed in the other sites. The owner is very nice and is working to improve the sites, so next year may be a different experience. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

There is not much to choose from in Red Lodge when it comes to RV Parks, but this place is probably the better choice. There are two camping areas in the park. Up top, right next to the Hwy. with no shade, but at least there are pull throughs for big rigs. The second area is down a narrow, rutted, dirt track that requires a sharp turn at the top to get in or out of the place. Campsites are randomly placed in a grove of cottonwood trees. The place is dusty. I saw some larger rigs come in and I wondered how they would ever get out without the use of a chainsaw. Our site did back right up on the banks of Rock Creek, which was beautiful, but darned near overflowing due to heavy snow melt run off. When we checked in the owner cautioned to be careful with our dogs because a bull moose had come into camp a couple of weeks earlier and killed a dog. Next night my grand daughter and I literally walked into a cow moose while walking our dogs! With all the negatives, we still enjoyed our stay because there is so much that we liked about the Red Lodge area. If we return, we would consider staying here again. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
