Great Location for exploring the nearby woods and the Beartooth Highway! I wish the showers would have been cleaned more often and better....same litter on the shower floor the whole time we were there. Cash or check only for the campground. We stayed up top and had a terrific view and a beautiful green lawn to enjoy! The creek sites seemed crowded and mostly dirt. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Loved the town, everything you need. Perry's was great in letting us wash the jeep as we got covered in dirt from all the backroads. Road noise dimished at night and the mountain views were lovely!

Overall Rating:

Paved entry, gravel interior roads & sites. We stayed at Perry's in our 43' Class A motorhome. Sites near the office are large enough for a Class A, & include water, elec. There is a dump station that is easy to pull along side. Campsites are narrow with picnic tables. There is 1 washer/1 dryer in the office. Restrooms are clean & there are some port-a-potties through the campground. The riverside sites are rustic, mostly dirt or gravel. A narrow road leads down to the riverside sites. Highway noise is not a problem. There is very little traffic after dark. Bears may enter the park, be cautious. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Located 2 miles south of the town of Red Lodge on the Beartooth Highway. The drive over the top on the mountain is spectacular .....town of Red Lodge is fun....lots of shops and restaurants The owners recommended a couple of restaurants for breakfast....we went to the Cafe Regis which was excellent. She also recommended Prindy's Place so we there this morning....nothing special but good.

DO NOT camp down by the creek if you have a Motorhome over 34 feet long. They say you can drive out but it is way to tight to make the turn because of the lack of tree trimming and being narrow. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice little campground at the beginning of the Beartooth HWY. we had a pull through site up by the road, but the sites down by the river are very nice. It looks tight down there, but there were some 40ft class A's so it must be accessible. Our site was at a hit of an angle, but still easy to level out. Lots to do in the Red Lodge downtown area. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Great little park. We loved our site by the creek. A bit tight getting down to, but doable. Creek was great to listen to and we rarely leave windows open but had to here! Don't care about wifi or cable we're not here to be on electronics. Great value. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you can, stay by the creek. If you have littles, be sure to discuss the importance of NOT going into it near the creek. That's a nonnegotiable!! It's fast moving or at least, it was when we were there. The front desk was very clear about that when we checked in. Beautiful but extremely fast.

This is a very nice park and well maintained. There are sights near Rock Creek and some up near the highway. Owners are super nice folks. We had to stay for 3 days waiting for a part for our hitch. They made sure room was made for us even though we didn't have a reservation beforehand. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Red Lodge is a neat little tourist town with the usual shops and restaurants. The drive over Beartooth Pass is spectacular. Rent a motorcycle in town and do it on a Harley. The Town Pump gas station by the round a bout has a dump station for those who make a purchase.

Park is gravel throughout. Pull-through sites have no trees and are very tight. Our neighbor had to pull his awning in for us to get our slideouts out. Back-in sites are near a creek and have trees and more room. No sites have sewer, but there is a dump. WiFi is bad. No cable, and antenna gets 3 channels (no NBC). We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I have stayed a number of times here, always in late September early October.

I usually camp off grid but stop at a full service campground now and then for a shower. At least in the fall this is a very nice quiet campground and at that time of year not crowded. I love the sites down by the roaring stream.

This one is always on my radar if I'm passing through Redlodge. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Truck Camper.

A great location to begin an adventure! Located on the south side of town - that's the side that is past Red Lodge and at the beginning of the Beartooth Highway.

There are two sections to this park - above and below. The "below" section is along the Rock Creek. You can hear the creek from almost any site in that section. I travel in a 38 ft fifth wheel and was definitely able to navigate the lower section.

The manager is friendly and helpful. She has much information to share - especially about the Beartooth highway and Yellowstone National Park. They are installing new bathrooms. Each site is water and electric but they do have a RV dump.

Red Lodge has great restaurants - I recommend the Red Box Car (at south end of town) and Bogarts (for GREAT pizza) - and originating from NJ, I KNOW great pizza! We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here in a 33 foot toy hauler. We were in site 41 on the creek, it was a great site. Restrooms were OK. New ones are being built which is needed. The owners are very friendly and always around. Getting to your campsite can be tricky if you don't follow the owner who is leading you to your site. Sites are relatively private and a good amount of room. Sites are level. Beartooth pass is easily accessible from here. Would definitely stay here again. We stayed in site #30 which was really too small for our 30' fifth wheel. The electrical outlet was in a good location and I had a choice of water spigots to use. One was about 30' through bushes on the left and the other one was about 30' to the right that had to go under the RV and hook up at the adjoing site. Our left slide pushed up against tree limbs and the awning on the other side could only be put out about 4' before hitting a tree. This site may have been o.k. if a few small trees and bushes had been either removed or trimmed. I made reservations months in advance and wasn't asked to give a deposit. My mistake was not calling a couple weeks before we arrived to confirm because I got the feeling that, upon arrival, we were not expected. Some sites down by the river are very nice. The dump area was easy to access and worked well. This campground, although a little rough around the edges is in a great location. We camped at Perrys RV Park and Tent Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

A trip on both The Beartooth Highway and Chief Joseph Trail are fantastic and should not be missed. If you go around Sturgis Rally time be prepared to share the road with thousands of motorcycles.

Couldn't say enough good things about the people who run this. Great location to Red Lodge and the Beartooth highway. The sites on the lowers section could take a little effort to get into depending on the size of your rig, but the management helps you and really its not too big of a problem. Beautiful location! Upper sites are pull through and near the road but honestly there's not much road traffic and at night there's virtually none. Verizon worked OK. I'd give it a ten if it had sewer.
