Overall Rating:

A nice place to stop for the night between Billings and Bozeman. The owner was the kindest, most welcoming woman I've ever met at an RV park. It's a tidy little place, very clean, with grass and a picnic table between sites. We have a 40-foot 5th wheel and maneuvered very easily despite the park's small size. We didn't use the bathroom, but the laundry room was immaculate. Bring quarters, there is no change machine. We borrowed a movie from the office and walked to the local saloon for dinner. Reed Point, population 96, is probably not a destination, but it sure was a nice place to spend the night. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Waterhole Saloon is 2 blocks, you can walk. Excellent local beers on tap and great burgers. The decor is the very definition of a "saloon". Friendly folk! Post office right next door. Have your postcards ready to mail.

Great place for overnight. Just off the interstate. Would give it a 10 except for the noise from trains that run all night. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

Rate reflects Good Sam discount. Very nice, quiet, clean park. Host Owners are very nice, seemed genuinely happy to have you there. They were very kind in accommodating a special need we had. They are visible and active in the park. Appear to be some seasonal RV's but all sites were clean and neat. Electric was steady at 122V, water good at 50PSI. All sites are pull thru and full hookup. Wifi worked very well for checking news, email, light surfing. Washers and dryers are newer, clean and worked very well. We didn't use restrooms or showers but poked a head in, they certainly appeared very clean. Sites are spaced well enough, you can sit outside, put an awning out and not feel you are touching your neighbors RV. Leash rule is enforced and there was no dog waste anywhere we saw. Sites are long, pull thru, gravel, level, with nice grass between them. Small picnic table at each site. Park does seem to fill up most nights, would suggest reservations. The town is very small but has some interesting old buildings and wooden sidewalks. We found it charming. Certainly location is fine for a day or more if you're looking for some down time with peace and quiet. There is a train, but its several blocks away, you don't notice it. Same with freeway noise, can't hear it in your unit and its not bothersome outside. We had only a weak Verizon phone signal, but it worked on our booster. We would stay here again when in the area. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Very pleasant stay. Close to I-90 and a very quaint little town of Reed Point, MT. The park seemed to have mostly long term campers, but all looked neat and well maintained. The bathrooms, showers and laundry were exceptionally clean. We had full hookups to include cable and Internet. Both worked very well. The local saloon/grill is in walking distance and has a lot of character. Recommend if nothing more than to take a couple of pics and drink a coke at the saloon. This is not a destination campground however if you know the area, I'm sure their are some hiking and sightseeing to pursue. We would stay again! Passport America discount applied. Excellent value. Overall Rating:

This park has new owners and are really trying hard to make this a user friendly campground. We were escorted to our site by the owner and she made sure if we needed anything to let them know. Easy off and on to I-94. Note our rate was passport and no add on for 50 amp or pull thrus. If they had a swimming pool they would rate a ten. The showers and the bathrooms were very clean and worked great. If you are traveling thru this area and need a great place to camp, this is your place. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you have a bad experience here then you just won't be happy anywhere! It's just as simple as that! We camped at Old West RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The park was small, but very good access from I-90. New owners bend over backward to insure a good stay and that every thing worked. Minor problem with sewer (old pipes), site 10 and 11 drains slow, but owners plan on putting in a new one this fall. At this time they have no restriction on Passport America discounts. We paid half price for a week at $17 a night. I will always use this park when in the area. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very friendly folks at the park office. Our first experience at a Passport America. They have set a high standard! They put us in a site with 50 amp and we have 30 amp. When we told them, they quickly provided an adapter for our use, telling us to leave it at the box when we leave and they'll get it. It is close to the interstate, but in the camper that wasn't an issue for us. We would definitely recommend this park for a stopover. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

When we first arrived there was nobody in the office but they did have prices posted. It was small but very well maintained. It is right off the freeway which makes it easy to find but sometimes a little noisy. The owners were very friendly when we met them the next morning and apologetic that they couldn't be there. They had something important to attend to. There was laundry facilities and bathrooms. I would stay again if I was going through the area. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Have stayed twice now...one in my motorhome and once in a friend's fifth wheel. For a tiny park, this one is perfect. Although close to the highway, the noise seemed muffled. Cute little town for drinks & a meal. Owners goes way out of their way to accommodate the travelers. Plan to visit again soon! We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.
