Very clean, nicely-maintained park. Good gravel interior roads; level, fairly roomy grass sites with shade trees. Located just off Hwy. 93, so there's some road noise. TV reception and working WiFi. They prefer you not walk your dogs inside the park, but there is a large, grass pet walk around the outside perimeter of park. We would stay here again. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Our site (18) was so tight that we could not open our awning fully, and there was no incentive to sit outside on the grass because we'd be staring at our neighbor's rig and the front grill of his truck, parked just a few feet away. There are no picnic tables at these sites either. We drive a 36' motor home and tow a Jeep, but the people who have trucks and big fifth wheels have no adequate space to park, with the result being our situation above. There was a strong Verizon signal there, and the woman in the office was friendly and helpful. Water pressure was not great. The road noise from route 93 was considerable, even at night. We would not choose to come here again. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate reflects a monthly stay. Very nice RV park, just on the north border of Ronan. Electric was very steady, water pressure 40PSI, wifi worked well enough for the basics, checking news, email, light surfing, shopping etc. Spaces are close, but there is room to sit outside and a picnic table/bench at each site. You are not right on top of your neighbor. Owners are on site and very active in the park. Constantly working to clean, and keep things neat and pretty. They are very pleasant, helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Good point to stay outside the "hussle zone" of more northern areas around Glacier NP area. Do make reservations, this park is full every night. Campground is quiet. Sites are grass and well maintained. There is a washer/dryer in the office, $2.00 per. We did not visit the restrooms or showers. Office is happy to receive mail and packages for you while you're out touring. We enjoyed our stay here and would love to visit again. Town of Ronan and surrounding area has plenty to keep you busy. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Ronan has a nice museum, paved walking path in town. Ninepipes Museum and National Bison Range well worth visit. Pizza Café has good food, they have a DQ and MacD's. Very nice Walmart in Polson, about 10 miles. The drive around Flathead lake is beautiful. Glacier is about 80 miles, easy day trip. The town of Thompson Falls is worth a visit for the dam, walking bridges and Old Jail House Museum. Missoula is 50 miles south, Smokejumpers Museum is a great tour and museum.

Very pleasant owners, helpful and kind. Sits right next to Hwy. 93, very busy 24/7 and loud. Was the perfect spot to stay while visiting the National Bison Range. I was lucky to get a space on short notice, so call for reservations if you can. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The National Bison Range is a short drive away. Went early in the morning and saw 60-70 Bison, Elk, Mule Deer, Pronghorn and a coyote. Well worth the trip, was on the Range 5 hours - the entrance cost is $5.

In the shadow of the mission mountains, a very nice well kept park. Cell and data service, over the air TV, and park wifi all worked very well. Owners very friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to see in the area. Much more pleasant than the congestion of Polson, just up the road. This park is so well kept by the owners. Large trees around sites, however the sun can still get through--which I like. Utilities were in the correct location and in good working order. Sites are close but are angled to give good privacy. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

This little RV park is a hidden gem. It was purchased by a new owner couple in Aug 2015 and they keep it meticulous without being fussy. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and the surroundings are spectacular with the Mission Mountain Range to the south. The pads are all pull-thru and grass, which is re-mowed and watered each time someone leaves. Wifi is great if you're close to the office and altho you do hear some traffic from Hwy 93, it's a small price to pay to be in such a wonderful park with access to a lot of great day trip destinations, including Polson (Flathead Lake), West Glacier, Kalispell, Missoula, the Bison Range, and more. I happened across this campground by chance and paid for one night. That was 2.5 weeks ago. I will definitely return. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nightly rate reflects weekly rate for 50 amp.

A very nice park but the spaces are on the short side for long rigs. There was no room in front for my truck after unhitching and barely enough room on the side for parking. Also, it appears they are in the process of updating the sites to 50 amp and after a rainy stay, the side for hook ups was a muddy quagmire. This was due to the area being freshly dug to install 50 amp. I would have gladly stayed in a 30 amp spot if I had known of this beforehand. The 30 amp sites were completely grass covered and mud was not an issue. The interior roads could use some attention but they were not a deal breaker. The owners are in the process of improving their park so certain areas will be lacking for a while.

The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again, but I would eyeball the site first to make sure mud is not going to be an issue. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

What a delightful park. It's a bit close to the highway but what little noise did not bother us at all. In the evening traffic is very light.

Nice green lawns, great dog walk area. Lots of trees and lots of sun.

Our site (9) was easily able to get satellite. Good AT&T service.

The new owners are a delight to deal with!

Good access to hookups. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The owners put a lot of love into their work and the care of this RV park. They are very friendly, loving people and are also very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our site was mostly on green grass and was perfectly level. All utilities worked perfectly and we did have sewer hookup. We were able to use our roof mounted TV satellite and Verizon was strong in the area. The park did have Wi-Fi, but we were told upfront that you needed to be close to the office to use it and we could not. There was some road noise but we were the closest RV site to the road and it did not bother us. There are also very good spots for the tent campers. We would not only be glad to use this park again if we were back in this area, but we highly recommend it to others. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

One of the great finds of our travels is the National Bison Range located a few miles from Ronan, Mt. We saw numerous animals including Pronghorn antelope, elk, big horn sheep and of course buffalo. You need to do the entire loop drive if you want to see great views. Stageline Pizza in town was recommended to us and we were surprised to find some really great pizza in this small town. We ate in the restaurant, but they also deliver if you are interested.

New owners are very nice and aim to please. Sites are close but easy to get in and out of. Just off the highway but quiet at night. We were able to use WiFi as we were close to the office. Owners live above office so are mostly on site. The park is neat and nicely kept. Not all sites are 50amp, so ask if you need it. We camped at Diamond "S" RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Management very friendly and helpful. Most sites are grass but ours was a pull through on gravel with good separation.
A nice clean well kept campground with level sites and good utilities. Large grassy area and playground. Ronan (with-in walking distance) is a small town with a few restaurants, gas, and groceries stores that has all the supplies that you may need. Polson located 11 miles north, is much larger with a Walmart, Safeway, entertainment, many restaurants and is on Flathead Lake. The new owners are delightful and made the experience one of the best we have had on this trip. If we are in the area we would definitely stay here again.
