RV park with all of the amenities you can even have pizza delivered to your site. Way overpriced. Sites are gravel not level with dead grass between sites. We made a reservation for 50amps only got a site with 30amps, we were told that was all that was available, and for that I paid 67 per night! It is convenient to Glacier park entrance. When we arrived the water pressure was only 20psi, when I inquired they said it was because they were watering the grass (which is dead). The pressure did go back up once they stopped watering. Wifi had good signal but just didn't work. Would not stay again because of the price We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Large, well run park. Sites are plenty big and good access. Views of the mountains are amazing. About 1 mile to park entrance. A little pricey but so is everything else here. Wifi not very strong but it is very remote here. By far the best place to stay on the East side of Glacier NP. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

KOA neat the east entrance of Glacier. Great views of the mountains from the camp. Sites gravel with grass, table and fire ring. Not sure if all the staff can match your RV to the site. Check the site before set up. Most sites level in the middle but may have slanted entrance/exit. Make sure you motorhome will fit on the level portion. Best to unhook toad at checkin. FHU's good, mid site. are a lot of tent site at this KOA. No cable. Verizon good, no T-mobile signal. No cable. Wifi unusable at site. Did not try OTA. All sites seem sat friendly. No road noise. Nice pool/hot tub. Camp store stays open till 11:00 pm also onsite eatery open for breakfast and open late for dinner. Pizza delivery available to site. Pricey but everything is, near here due to it's location. Nice dog park for rover. Average KOA but probably best camp in the area to see sights around East Glacier. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Small town nearby, gas for cars, and can get motorhome in, if you are careful. Best RV gas in Browning. Great hiking in the area. Thought the scenery was more dramatic over West Glacier.

First off, I must say the area is simple awesome,....but the campground was dirty. Trash blowing around and none of the staff ever stopped to pick it up. Campers would cut through occupied sites to and from the pool, but since the staff also cut through occupied sites I guess it's okay for campers?? We were having power problems and called the office. Was told they would come and check but they never did. Two days later, power was out the in the whole campground. Go figure!! Glacier is awesome, but I'd look for another place to stay next time. There were loose dogs also. I even witnessed a KOA worker walking his two black labs with no lease! We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Located in one of the most beautiful spots in the United States. Well kept, although a little dusty. Excellent pool. My one complaint is that the park is set up in very long horizontal rows that have nowhere to pass through. So if you are considerate, you have to walk all the way to the end of the row to get any where. And then you always have other people cutting through your site. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.

While the campground was nice and the access to the National Park was great, it was not as advertised. They advertise Wi-Fi but what they don't say is that it is spotty at best. The further you are from the office, the less likely you are to get a connection. We even walked INTO the office & the connection was bad. The guy at the desk said there were too many people connected. If the park were full, I could understand that comment. It was maybe half full. The only cell service available within 8 miles of the park is Verizon. Great little dog run. Plenty of room for the pups to exercise. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Kids working in the office with terrible attitudes. Directed us backwards into a pull- through which we then discovered was only a 30 amp, not 50 which we reserved. Moved to a pull-through which was unlevel and narrow. The sewer location was uphill from our coach. Can't say we've ever seen that before. Overpriced for what you get, which we have found typical for KOAs. Good location for the St Mary entrance of Glacier. The scenery at the KOA is gorgeous with snow capped mountains. BIg Rigs- Beware that US 89 is a narrow, winding road for 31 miles. Manageable but stressful. Hard to believe this is a US Highway. They are doing construction to widen this road in the future. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Staff was as friendly and helpful as we have seen in any campground. The bathrooms and showers appeared very new, much nicer than I've seen in 95% of hotels, and kept clean. Numerous laundry machines. Excellent store (and I'm not a shopper) with good quality merchandise, scooped local ice cream, and very good hot pizza delivered to your site - ours had lots of fresh vegetable toppings along with the meats. WiFi is slow (fine early in the a.m., though) and there are high winds, so don't leave an awning out. Great location, a short drive to the visitor center. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Positives: best thing about this park is its location, 10 minutes from St Mary entrance, about an hour from Many Glacier and Two Medicine. Level site, utilities ok, satellite friendly, helpful office staff, diesel gas stations 5 minutes away. Negatives: besides being overpriced, this place was a construction zone with road construction equipment and lawn mowers going most of the time. They ran so many sprinkler systems that our water pressure was barely usable for several days. To exit our site, we had to maneuver back and forth to make the 120 degree turn out of our section. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This KOA is very close to an entrance to Glacier National Park. If you're here just for the park and mountain scenery that is fine. However, we had no TV, no cell phone service, and the wifi is terrible. Even sitting outside the camp office, the wifi was spotty and the internet was often not available. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

The park was still not fully open for the season, although the owners and staff were working hard to get things finished, and did sort out the mud on our site when we complained. We were not shown to our site and in fact the site with the patio that we had booked was not finished so were given an alternative site. The laundry was excellent with lots of washers and dryers and the campsite had a very well stocked general store. Unfortunately the wind was very strong for 3 days of our stay and because we were in the top level of the campsite it was very exposed, but didn't spoil our stay. Glacier Park was fantastic would go back again. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The welcome center of the park was excellent and well worth a visit. We saw Grizzly bear and young cubs. We found there was very limited food shopping in the area and would recommend stocking up with provisions before arriving, if you are expecting to cook at home.

The campsite recommended we take the 464 from Browning to Babb and not use the 89 as it is very steep and twisty. This was really good advice and although a few miles longer was a much easier route into the area.

Several reasons we stayed in this park: 1. Other options for a 42' motorhome were not good 2. Proximity to East Glacier entrance 3. Friends from NY that we picked up in Great Falls wanted to stay close by so they rented a cabin at an exorbitant rate If you can get by the rate, it is a fine park. They put us as close to our friends as possible. Roads are gravel but level. Sites are large enough. Staff is as you would expect at a KOA. One thing - someone opened a package I had delivered there. I inquired after Amazon confirmed it had been delivered and they suddenly showed me my item. Who does that? Anyway, the park is fine. We'd stay there again. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Eat at Two Sisters, about 5 miles north. Fun place, always packed. Come with everything you expect to consume. The grocery-everything store nearby is more like a big 7-11. If you go in early summer, darkness doesn't come until after 11. Water quality is good. No need for bottled water.

Beautiful views of the mountains. Long level gravel sites. Great utilities. Would give it a ten but no cable or over air tv stations. Also we were supposed to get a bricked patio site that was advertised. They did put us in a patio site but it was grass and needed some attention. We only saw one bricked patio. Very close to Glacier National Park entrance. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Like most KOA campgrounds, this one is over priced, but since it is the only decent full-service campground in the area, they get their price. The WIFI was pretty much useless. I was able to receive emails, but I would have to try multiple times to get an email to send and forget about looking up something on the web. They had a strong WIFI signal but lousy throughput. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. They have a little ice cream and coffee bar where they will make sandwiches for you to take with you for lunch. They also have a barbecue available each night during the Summer. Good size swimming pool and spa, both out doors of course. The interior roads are narrow, but passable. I was in M1, a back-in site that was angled appropriately for backing in to it, but we had to go out the same direction we came in, so it took some maneuvering to get turned around. There was a low rock protecting something next to the road that I hit with my front wheel and made a large gouge in it and the fender rode up on it and scratched the bottom. Not sure why it was there, just very annoying to scratch a 22.5" motorhome wheel. We camped at St. Mary / East Glacier KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you are coming in from Browning, MT do not take highway 89. It is a narrow windy road and is difficult with a motorhome or towing a trailer. Instead take highway 464, which is somewhat longer, but it is a wider, straighter road that comes in North of St. Mary so you have to backtrack a little. The receipt you get from the KOA does mention this, but it is down toward the bottom of the receipt where few people will read it.
