Easy on, easy off. No highway noise. Just calm and peaceful. Watch the deer and rabbits come into the park right next to you. Outstanding pet trails and walking trails. Several opportunities for walking. Lots of family opportunities for activities, all ages. Clubhouse, pool, outdoor recreation for young people. This is a quiet park with lots to do in and around the area. Small store nearby and a restaurant close by. Love this park. The owners do everything to make your stay wonderful and memorable. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice park, close to the interstate with some noise. Train blows whistle at times during the night. We stayed post season and the owners were very accommodating. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice Clean well managed and maintained park. Owner checked us in and was very nice and helpful. Staff escorted us to our site and was just helpful enough. They weren't too busy and I think they had some cancellations because of the hazy smokey conditions from fires in the area and Glacier. Gravel sites - level - easy in and out - mostly pull through. We were in site 54 on the Eastern (a little north) side - far away from the freeway. We did not hear the freeway at all but when we walked to the other side of the park it was quite loud. We would not have liked it over there. The satellite reception is great. The owner was very accommodating in putting us in a site that had the right orientation for the satellite. Utilities are all good. Cute cabins for rent as well. There are a lot of little trails on the property - good for walking. Verizon wireless and 4G very good. The wifi is pretty good - but the signal looks weak so it might not be good if more people were here. We would stay here again. Just stayed one night passing through eastward. We were hesitant to stay here because of the bad reviews saying the ownership was not nice - but we found it to be just the opposite. Very nice, friendly, and helpful. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very clean, mostly quiet park. There are several trains a night but they are a good ways away and did not really bother us. They have an efficient, friendly staff and the place is well set up and well maintained. We stayed for three nights to explore and will gladly stay here again! We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Just a real fun park nestled in a forest setting. Gravel access roads and sites. Extremely nice and welcoming staff. Guided to and into site. Water was ice cold and tasted great. Lots of trails through the surrounding forest. Pool look clean. Club house was spotless. Very well kept park. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

I'm going with 8 stars here. I'll explain. The park is very well managed, with lots of trees, a pool, nice sized level spaces, and some amazingly pleasant hikes around the perimeter of the park. Lots of wildlife - birds, squirrels, and deer as well. The couple that own and run the park are very nice and helpful. For those aspects I say 10 stars. My biggest complaint (and I almost always have at least one) is the noise factor. I didn't expect that. The 75mph interstate is less than 1/4 mile away, and a freight rail line is less than 1/2 mile away. Several trains a day come down that track, and signal at an un-gated crossing nearby. Ask for a spot along the back if you're staying there long term. I stayed for the month of August, hence my $21.00/night rate. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Reasonable drive to Glacier National Park. Nice little grocery store about 15 miles east in Superior called Castles. Huck's Grill at the travel center has some very decent food for breakfast and lunch. Quick takeaway too. Clark's Fork is a beautiful river and accessible at several points heading north on MT135 (I think).

The park has mediocre sites: many are too short for larger rigs, not level, and tree covered which prevents satellite reception. There is no cable TV. The bath facilities are OK. I saw no recycling. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Nice quiet, tiered layout. Easy big rig access. It's a gem for sure. Laid back, no tv, lots of dusty trails weave in throughout the park, no grass in the sites we stayed in. Great family vacation place, stuff for kids to do. Not much in St. Regis, but great get away from it all. Pizza/Eateries near by. While the people in the office are very nice, I think the office is not well organized. They kept telling us you'll be in this site and then switching it, but each time no one was in those sites at night. I honestly think they want you to think the place is in great demand. But it was not ever half full all the nights we stayed there. Plus, they are very enamoured with big fancy rigs. Always telling you this rigs was here and that fancy rig was here last night. But I never saw anything like they described. It did not impress me. I think they are new at this. But I highly recommend it and would definitely stay there again and for an week or two when we can. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice RV park in a scenic area. It is far enough off of the main road to be fairly quiet. The park is in excellent condition and the customer service was unrivaled. The sites are a little close together, and the rows oriented so as to afford less privacy than normal. The amenities are great. There is a nice little store with a few things, and you can walk into town in about fifteen minutes. The wifi is reasonable most of the time. No o/a tv. Verizon signal was good. It was a little tight driving through the park, but that was because several people were parked out into the roadway, outside the bounds of their site. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a very neat and tidy park. Owners were super nice. I made our reservations 4 months prior because we are a 41' MH pulling a 22' trailer, so we are approx 64' in length. I went to great pains telling the workamper person on the phone that we needed a long pull through because we were only staying one night and could not unhook our trailer but she still assigned us to a site that was too small. Unfortunately, they had given the other two long sites away to people who arrived without reservations just ahead of us so that left us with no site for us to fit without having to make some major turns around obstacles. The gentleman owner said that he had one spot that might work but my husband would have to be a great driver, which he is. The owner took my husband on his golf cart to check out the site and they decided that pulling through an unused site would be an easier way to get access to our site, so this is what we did and it worked out great. No map or rules provided at check in. I asked another camper about the pool and she stated that the adult hours are not enforced so there was no adult swim that evening without kids. The pet leash rule did not seem enforced by the number of unleashed dogs walking around and in office. There is a huge field for dogs to run and walk which was awesome! Even though there was a very distant train noise, there is no freeway noise and the quiet was super nice. Some sites have grass and some are just gravel. Some also have fire pits but not all of them. ATV trails nearby as well as awesome fishing. We hope to come back next year and stay maybe a month. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice RV park. Well manicured and well kept. Sites are gravel with grass and picnic table and very level. Interior roads gravel, easy to navigate. Some sites have fire ring, no patios. Some sites satellite friendly, no park cable, no OTA. Unhook toad at check in, or at site. Nice bathrooms and laundry facilities. Good Verizon and T-Mobile signals. Water pressure high will need pressure reducer. Nice large grass areas for rover. Very dog friendly park, may be some tics in the woods, none noted in campground. Camp store has snack items. Three gas stations in town for gassers and diesel on way in or out (height marked on overheads). Park has propane that is easy to pull to. Did not give a 10 because of wifi. If near office or laundry wifi may be usable, but spotty and unusable any distance from buildings, they need to add to the wifi system in the back areas. Hot spot phones work well. Owners very nice and escort to site. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a beautiful park in a beautiful area. The office staff were friendly and we were escorted to our site. All interior roads and sites are gravel and not very level, and only a handful of RV sites have grassy areas. The park is built on a hilltop with many terraces, twists and turns above a meadow area. It's a nice, clean park and we've stayed here on more than one occasion. Bring your own wifi and satellite TV unless you plan to golf, fish or hike while you're here. The store is limited but has ice and huckleberry jam! Many activities for kids, and plenty of walking space for dogs. This could be a destination RV park for many but request a spacious site with grass and shade. Our space wasn't long enough and we had to park our pickup across the front of our site, as did our neighbor. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice campground. The owners are very friendly and work hard keeping it in good shape. The owner leads you to your site. The roads are stone/gravel, no problem maneuvering around the campground. The WiFi here is the same we find in most campgrounds: it hardly works. We camped at Nugget RV Park in a Motorhome.
