5 RV Parks near Virginia City, Montana
Jun 2016 - $34.00
A very nice RV park. Clean with a very helpful staff. Our WIFI signal was spotty at best and there wasn't any TV signal at all. We spent two nights there and saw deer come right through the park both days.
The park is on a hillside so the sites are not completely level, but we didn't have any trouble hooking and unhooking from the 5th wheel. - Trackman
Sep 2015 - $27.00
Very nice setting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Sites were very close together. Rigs are parked in the 50 amp sections in alternate directions. On the driver's side of the trailer, my slide was within a foot of the neighbor'slide. On the passenger side (door side) I shared about 6 ft wide space of grass with my neighbor. When they invited a group of 8 friends to their site, it felt like I was intruding. Other available sites were too small for my rig. Just too tight. - jergrimes
Aug 2015 - $38.00
The new owners have made this place wonderful. While the park itself has an interesting layout (kinda on a hill) it's not bad but bring your leveling blocks. Wifi didn't work at my site but works at the office, near their residence on site, or at a cute little gazebo with picnic bench at the upper part of the park. They have cabins to rent and also a tepee. Owner are bend over backwards helpful and it is just a short drive to Virginia City and Nevada city historical towns. Had a great visit all in all there, we would stay again. - hit it
Jun 2013 - $63.00
We stayed here with our Girl Scout Troop on the way home from Yellowstone National Park. While in the area we mined for gold in Virginia City and the camp host helped us with directions on where to find garnets. Loved the wooden bench swings in front of the cabins. One of the cabins was a bit of a tight squeeze between the bunk beds. My family will happily come here again in the future. - shastarainier
Sep 2012 - $45.00
This is one of the nicest and friendliest KOA’s we ever stayed at. Has a wonderful host and he is a very good guy. He and his 1 helper do it all, and they do it right. The campground is very well kept and the bathrooms and showers are always very clean. We have stayed here several times, and do so anytime we are anywhere near this part of Montana. We love this KOA and you will too. - Kathy D
Aug 2012 - $34.00
The Campground has long and wide sites, some as long as 110 feet. Our gravel site (#27) was on the end of the row, under a tree, and had a large, lush grassy area with a picnic table. It is very quite here, no trains, etc. The bathrooms and laundry are immaculate, the store is well stocked and the owners are very friendly. They have lots of bicycles that you can use for free. No cable and we had no TV reception with our antenna. Located 10 miles east of Virginia City on the outskirts of Alder. Alder has restaurants without tourist prices. Diesel available in Alder. Not far from Ruby Reservoir, a place where people pan for gold and especially Garnets. Our Verizon phone and Internet had full bars. A very nice place to stay. I would give it a higher rating, but we had no cable or pool. We would stay here anytime we are in the area. $34.00 rate was with KOA card. - DEBandVINCE
Sep 2016 - $45.00
This is a clean, quiet park. Sites are rather short, narrow, near-level, shady gravel, separated by wide strips of grass and trees. In Autumn, many leaves will fall on your rig. Each site has a picnic table. Voltage is good. There's plenty of room to maneuver.
Verizon LTE works well.
WiFi is strong; I measured 1565.9 kB/s down.
No terrestrial broadcast TV or VHF weather radio.
Laundry: 2 top-loaders ($1.50), 2 dryers ($1.50).
There are 4 clean private showers for the park, but no shower curtains.
Staff are friendly and helpful. - wjzcbn
Jul 2007 - $19.00
Oldler park under new management. Older run, down but decent. Great location. Can walk all the town from park. Restaurant nearby. Park is on upswing. Would stay here again for convince of town and restaurants. - rjallred
Aug 2016 - $38.00
This is a very small RV park located just as you enter Ennis from the south. There are no restrooms, showers, or cable but there is 50 amp, water and sewer. This park is hidden gem and is only a couple of blocks from 'downtown' Ennis and a nice Lions Club park is next door with access to the Madison River and several paved paths with benches and picnic tables scattered though it. There is also a small playground and fishing pond for kids. The only reason I did not give it a 10 was because of the lack of restrooms, showers, and cable. The sites are not large but it is usually not full and there are some seasonal sites for workers in the area. We will stay there again when we're in the area. We have a 36' RV. - KarenS144
Jul 2015 - $32.00
This is a great spot for a short stay. Nice people and a few shade trees. The view was pretty good and it is very close to town. - carold
Aug 2013 - $30.00
The RV park is located within walking distance of the charming town of Ennis and next to a great city park. The city park was great for dogs and has access to the famous Madison river. There are some picnic tables and a charcoal grill available but no fire pits. Owners are very friendly and helped my wife lower our awning while I was fishing. Great place. Note there are no showers or restrooms. - bugsy
Apr 2017 - $20.00
Nightly rate based on monthly stay. This is by far the nicest RV Park in the area. Clean, well maintained park with excellent staff that welcomes you with a smile. Sites towards the rear of the park are best. Incredible views of the surrounding mountain ranges and lots of lakes, streams, and rivers in the area to fish and enjoy. Ennis is a authentic western Montana town and a great location to base camp at while exploring the area. Easy access to Yellowstone and only 45 minutes from Bozeman. Well worth it to stay here and enjoy the peace and quiet, no trains and no freeways for fifty miles! - americana
Aug 2016 - $30.00
Nice easy pull through site. Have a picnic table and patio area at each site. Nicely grassed and some trees. Friendly staff with easy check in and out. No TV reception at all, but they do give you coordinates for satellite service. Wi-fi was too weak to be usable. However, I didn't camp here for the TV and wi-fi. Nice views of the surrounding mountains and only a short trip from here to Yellowstong NP. Excellent stopping place on the way. - The Mangonel
Aug 2016 - $32.00
Excellent mountain views. Level sites, clean park. Close to downtown Ennis and restaurants. Poor wi-if service. - Bunci
