This is a very nice RV park... clean, well maintained, and organized. Although the sites aren't exactly spacious, they are not as close together as I feared, and our back-in site was more than wide enough for us to not feel claustrophobic. Even better, our site backed up to the national forest where there were lots of trails for us to walk our dog. Our 36' motorhome and tow car just barely fit in the back-in site (some days we parked our car in the overflow parking lot). Larger rigs will either want the back-in sites that have a car pad next to them, or a pull through site. Our gravel site was nice and level. The WiFi worked fairly well especially during the day when everyone is visiting Yellowstone. They issue WiFi codes for up to two devices. Our AT&T and Verizon both worked well. They accept mail and packages for guests, but have two different addresses for US Mail vs. UPS/FedEx deliveries, which means Amazon orders are problematic. Our only complaint (not their fault) was the swarms of giant mosquitos (biggest we've seen) around the park, and even worse in the adjacent national forest. We stayed at the beginning of the season... in fact our first night was $35 since it was the off-season rate, then it went up to $65 for the rest of our stay. We'd definitely return. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

One of the more expensive places we've stayed but worth it. Professional staff that is very helpful. Easy to navigate, well kept, beautiful. Right outside the gate to West Yellowstone National Park entrance. Walking distance to downtown. Our 3rd time staying here over the years. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed the last week the park is open so the rate reflects that.

This is one of the nicest parked we have stayed in, we're full trimmers, not sure we'd stay here in high season/full rate. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park several times in the past and it never disappoints - cleanliness is unequaled, site sizes adequate, staff are friendly, and the location can only be beat by being inside Yellowstone itself. This time we were there right at the end of the season; the campground closed for winter 1/2 hour after we left. Only a skeleton staff were there at this point, and mostly they were working on winterizing & closing facilities; the office hours were very short, usually just morning only. Nevertheless, facilities were as nice and sparkling clean as always. Still one of our favorite campgrounds. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Be sure to check out shops & restaurants with office; some close in September for the season. Three Bears restaurant nearby has good "down-home" food. P.O. just down the block. We prefer the back-in sites along south & west sides, as they back up to a pine woods, no building behind them.

One of the nicer campgrounds we've stayed in. This is a very popular campground and were sold out every night we were here. The first two nights we had a premium back in site, which had room on the side for our toad. The last two nights we had a regular back in site. My MH and toad barely fit and my electrical cord was just long enough to reach. I needed a 10' extension to my sewer hose as well. Lots of well kept grass, a nice play area for the kids and a wooded area behind the park to walk the dogs. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very close to the north entrance to Yellowstone NP. There's a dedicated pass holder lane at the entrance. As you enter town from the west on Hwy 20, there's a billboard giving directions to a market. This market is the better stocked of the two in town.

There are other parks in town, but none is as nice as Grizzly. The place is spotless with level, gravel sites, a cement patio as well as a sidewalk from your car to the patio. There is also grass on either side of the site. Grizzly is a little pricey, but you are right in town. There's a nice store and the employees were very helpful. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loved this place....one of the nicest we've ever been. Would give it a 10 except for how expensive it is. Staff is very nice, grounds are spotless, spacious sites with beautiful grass. Great trails for walking dogs behind campground. Easy walk to town. Close to west entrance to YNP. We were there after Labor Day and it was still full. We decided to stay here at this price because it was a very special trip. Would love to stay again but will check out less expensive places next time. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a great "destination park" when one wishes to visit Yellowstone National Park. The nightly price reflects a premium site. All streets are paved and sites/patios are cement. Wi-Fi was available and we had a strong signal. Staff are extremely friendly and professional. We have stayed here a number of times and will definitely return. This park is pricey, but worth it if you can't get a Yellowstone campground. The park is within easy proximity to all stores and restaurants in West Yellowstone, and it is just a few blocks from the Park's west gate. It is extremely clean with nicely groomed, level sites, well positioned utilities, and a nice grassy area with a patio and picnic table. We have a 40' fifth wheel and barely had enough room to park our truck. There were several overflow parking spots very nearby. Bathrooms, showers and laundry were spotless, spacious and modern. AT&T cell service was barely adequate. We were not able to get much use out of the camp WIFI service. The staff was very helpful and gave us a lot of information about local sights and services. We used our DISH satellite for our usual shows, as well as the camp cable for local channels. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Plan at least 4-6 days (or more) for just the highlights of Yellowstone NP. It is a huge Park, and each area is uniquely amazing and different from other areas.

We stayed for a week and unfortunately our site was adjacent to the dump station and across from the check-in. Many ignored the "no idling" rule, causing unnecessary noise. If staying, avoid sites 01-04. The facilities were very clean and the staff was friendly. Grizzly RV is very convenient to Yellowstone NP. Tips for other Campers:

Try Ernie's if you want a 1/2 pound burger. Also, has a good deal on "box lunches" for a day in Yellowstone. We did not try these, as we found this place at the end of our visit. Open for breakfast and lunch.

Old Town Cafe has delicious apple cinnamon hotcakes with caramel syrup.

In the older section south of the offices. The back in space was tight for our 34 ft 5th wheel. We had the jockey back and forth to squeeze in between a couple of trees, which had no purpose other than aesthetics. Ample room for our slide outs. No place to park our tow vehicle so off to the overflow parking site, a short walk but in rainy conditions a pain. Pull throughs looked to have ample room for all types of RV's. As well as did the newer parking sections west of the offices. During cold weather, we HAD to disconnect the water hose each night and, of course, reconnect it in the mornings or pay a $50 fee for each time we failed to do so. They've got to get a handle on this issue . It's definitely not customer friendly. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed here several times. The park continues to be meticulously maintained and well staffed. Clearly they care about their campers. Would have given it a 10 except this time the price was approaching a level of real concern. I don't expect cheap and I am willing to pay for clean and well kept, but... Very well landscaped park, conveniently located to West Yellowstone Park entrance and located in walking distance of the town of West Yellowstone. However, for Big Rigs and those pulling toads, the sites are short making it difficult to use. While the park has many things going for it, we felt it was overpriced.
