I second the comments from the last reviewer, i. e. very nice park, well laid out, super good sites, and best location with easy access to Yellowstone. Long, level gravel site with nice picnic table and sidewalk to front of coach. Know that you need a protective mat if grilling on the plastic table. Only demerits were no propane available, double image with cable TV, and cabin bunk beds are for kids only as only had a very thin plastic covered pad over wood slats for cushioning. We would stay in the park again but forego the cabin, although the shower in the cabin was very nice. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice park, well cared for and clean. Easy in and out, big rig friendly with level gravel pull through sites. Small patio and picnic table. Good cell reception and the site we stayed on had good satellite reception. Perfect location, very close to the National park entrance and walking distance to town for restaurants and shops. The park is right outside the West Yellowstone entrance. It is clean, well maintained and the staff is very helpful. They have a store onsite for "needed items." Sites are level and paved. They route "traffic" so you are disturbed by others coming and going very minimally. Internet was stable but could not download large files. They ask that you disconnect your water hose on nights that freeze; I wonder why they just don't provide covers since this seems to be a significant issue. My one complaint was that the sewer hookup was so close to the front of the site we had to purchase an extension; 25 feet of sewer hose was not long enough. We would stay at this park again. Camped in a travel trailer. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The one bit of advice for the first time visitor is to budget time when entering the park from this entrance. There are constant delays due to bison, elk, etc. crossing the road. If you really want to see wildlife, wake up around 4:00 a.m. and leave the park by 4:45. Go to Lamar Valley. Woke up at 4:00 a.m. the third day and saw 8 wolves, a bear, a coyote, pronghorn antelope, bison, and an eagle. Greatest wildlife day ever!

This was a very nice park. Clean, great dog walk. We were just here one night, but easy access to the park, and to a grizzly bear preserve. Our space was a backin but very easy to get in. Our slide our decided not to work just as we were getting ready to leave. Even though they were booked up, they told us not to worry we could stay tell it was fixed. I phoned Tiffin and they fixed it over the phone. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Wonderful, nicely maintained campground as about as close to west entrance of Yellowstone that you can get. Of course, you pay for the amenities and location, so on the pricey side. Smooth efficient check in, paved streets and level gravel sites (though I saw a few rigs using blocking), and adequate maneuverability. Sites fairly close to each other, but not terribly so. Site barely fit my RV and truck, and they warn that they will assess a $50 fee if your rig or truck stick out into the roadway. Another somewhat irksome thing was that they only give free Wi-Fi access to 2 devices per site, and charge for any additional ones. I can see that as a way to try to incentivize folks from not overloading their bandwidth, but for a week-long stay, choosing between phones and tablets to get on Wi-Fi was annoying. On other hand, must have been effective, since their Wi-Fi did work well. Cable TV provided, but ours was often snowy to point of being unusable. Verizon signal good. Great, clean bathroom, shower, and laundry facilities, and a well-stocked camp store. They had a trail that could be used for dog walking very close to our site that led right into the adjacent National Forest, which was nice. Despite the few drawbacks and high cost, would probably stay again next time we come back to Yellowstone. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rules, rules, rules! Handed me a 4 page pamphlet and 1 whole sheet was rules! Felt like elementary school. My campsite was too short for a 21' TT and a tow vehicle. Was told to back up as far as possible but not lower stabilizers on the grass, but this did not allow me to park my tow vehicle "exactly"--that is what the rules sheet said--in line with the TT. Rigs on either side of me were told it was OK to put stabilizers on the grass, just not the wheels. Dilemma--which rule to break? Also, the utilities were poorly placed. To hook up to the sewer I would have needed at least 30' of hose--if not more. There was only one shower stall and 2 commodes--not nearly enough for a camp this size. All in all, I was not impressed. I much prefer camping inside the park, but agreed to join our traveling companions at this place. Never again. WAY, WAY too expensive for what we got. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This RV Park is very well maintained. All asphalt roads in great condition. The sites are not right on top of each other, room to breath. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hookups are in very good condition and located in the central location of the sites. Landscaping is abundant throughout and pretty well maintained for getting in and out. A pinch of some tree trimming would be nice on some sites. Just blocks from West Yellowstone makes it nice for biking and walking in a very flat terrain. My only complaint is my fellow humans that allow their dogs to defecate on the very nice grass areas that takes away from the impeccable grounds. COME ON PEOPLE with dogs CLEAN UP after your pet, don't ruin things for us. Grizzly RV Park allows you to wash your rig and tow vehicle, nice. PS COMPLEMENTARY HOT CHOCOLATE AND COFFEE each morning. Location, location, location! That's what the real estate people say about how you price a home. Well, this park is only a couple of blocks from the West Entrance of Yellowstone and that's worth a lot IMO. It's an attractive park and is exceptionally clean. Our premium pull-through was roughly twice the width of a standard commercial park site and easily accommodated our toad and our 40' MH. The site had grass and a concrete patio. The park roads were asphalt and easy to negotiate. The sites were packed, smooth gravel. Each site had a large picnic table. We arrive shortly after noon on a busy day and there were quite a few RVs checking in ahead of us. However, there were lots of people manning the registration desk and we were out of there and on our way to our site in a surprisingly short amount of time. Everything else we encountered at the park in the 10 days we were there seemed just as efficient. The staff admitted that the wifi wasn't very fast, but both AT&T and Verizon had excellent high speed signals. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed 4 nights in a 43' motorhome to visit Yellowstone NP. Arrived from Grand Tetons NP on Rt 20 over the Targhee pass. Smooth check-in - ample space/multiple lanes to park your rig. Site is FHU PT, level gravel with cable. Good spacing with nice grass between sites . Interior roads are paved and BIG RIG friendly. All utilities worked well and are placed mid coach. Bathhouse/restrooms are excellent. ATT service was good and WiFi was adequate for Emails/Internet. CG is 2 blocks from Wolf/Grizzley Discovery Center and 3 miles from YNP west entrance. Numerous restaurants in downtown and small market for groceries. Lots of space just outside fence line in open fields with opening provided to walk dog and bags are provided. Large playground, free coffee and hot chocolate in morning. When visiting YNP will stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are many reviews of this campground. Most of them glowing. I agree that this is a nice campground. Not great. The restrooms are clean, but they don't have enough showers or toilets in them. You can wait long for a shower. Their reservation scheduling seems confused. If they booked your site for someone else in the middle of your stay, they move you to another site. Absurd. Every back-in is the same. Every pullthru is the same. Why not put the new guy in one of the other vacant sites. They need to work on that. They really do need a pool. With a campground this big, they need a big rec area with a big pool. We have stayed at many campgrounds and this is a must. Folks with children need a place to let them unwind. This is a pricey campground, but this is a supply / demand market. We would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The campground is right in town. It is an easy walk to shop and eat. The town is an excellent tourist town with real nice shops and eats. And, of course it is right at the entrance to Yellowstone. We really enjoyed the convenience.

The park is extremely well kept. In fact to an extreme. Staff are very nice and pleasant. Great location, close to town but not to close. Big enough that if your planning a last minute need to reserve they seem to be able to accommodate you. There are lots of rules so you will want to pay attention when checking in. Lawn sprinklers seem to be a problem for them so if you break one its $50.00. WIFI is pretty much useless if your in the back of the park, typical though. My reason for an 8 is we think the value does not match the price they ask. It feels as if they are charging to much. We have stayed in parks of equal or better and have paid less. Of course it is next to Americas first National Park so I guess the owners can just about charge anything they want. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Signage directing you to the park should be improved. Staff is pleasant. Roads are easy to navigate for big rigs. Our site was just long enough for our big rig and toad. Utilities are well placed and worked well. Campground is attractive and well manicured. There is no traffic noise. They don't have a rule preventing you from washing your RV. Wifi is horrible. Cable was okay. Overpriced. Campgrounds that charge this much should have decent Wifi. I would stay again, but not before looking around. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice RV park and being located right in town is a huge bonus! It was great being within walking distance of restaurants, shopping and other attractions. The grounds are well cared for and the restroom facilities were top notch. There were four friendly ladies assisting with check-in which was quick and efficient. We would definitely stay here again if our travels brought us back to West Yellowstone! We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an immaculately cared for park. Sites are cleaned after each person leaves. Lawn is irrigated and mowed. Sites are gravel but level and cared for. Reception is capable of handling many people at once. Laundry facilities were top notch. Downtown West Yellowstone is easy walking distance but far enough away to not have to hear traffic or people. WiFi was ok but useless at peak times... As with pretty much all RV parks. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
