Beautiful park, well kept grounds. Worth the price. The sites were spacious for an RV park and grassy. We felt like there was enough room between us and the RV next to us. Make sure to move your stuff off the grass or it will get watered! Kids loved the playground. We really enjoyed staying here. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

I found everyone in West Yellowstone very friendly. We had a flat tire on our trailer that had a slow leak and the tire place in town accommodated us at a moments notice. Even the lady at the gas station was especially friendly. We had a great experience.

The campground is pricey but a very well-run RV park. Clean, roomy sites, and helpful staff. There are lots of nearby trails and the park is convenient to Yellowstone. They have an abundance of water, so they allow you to wash your RV. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice facility, but pricey. Nearly $70 a night with taxes and a Good Sam discount. Very well maintained and staff was friendly and helpful. Our site was a bit tighter than some, but still plenty of room to get your awning out and not feel cramped. We had room for our Jeep Rubicon behind our 42 foot motor home. Excellent location for a trip to Yellowstone. Only 2 miles to the West entrance and West Yellowstone is a nice town to visit. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit Quake Lake north of town. Very interesting site and memorial to the victims of the 1959 earthquake that caused a landslide killing several campers and forming Quake Lake. Beautiful drive to the area. Only a 30-35 minute drive.

Overall Rating:

We have stayed here multiple times. It is quite pricey, but for the cleanliness, closeness to the west entrance of Yellowstone, and the convenience to walking around the town, it rates high in my book. The laundry and restrooms are very clean and well kept. The park is kept immaculate and all personnel we have come in contact with have been friendly and nice.
The sites are quite close together, but some have a bit of shade and are level. The premium sites have concrete patios. It was a tight squeeze to park both our fifth wheel and dually in the site. We had to park the dually in the parking by the office, both times we stayed here as our site was not long enough. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty of shops to choose from, lots of good restaurants and activities in the town of West Yellowstone. Super close to the west entrance of Yellowstone NP. Park is well managed, personnel are helpful and courteous. The park is well kept and a pleasure to walk around. There is a play area for the children and we saw many playing, riding bikes etc. It is quite expensive, but the closeness to the west entrance is worth it to me. The cable TV worked fine and so did the wifi.

This campground is one of the best we've visited. The grounds are landscaped and each day we saw staff working on the grounds. Roads are wide and paved, sites are gravel and level. Restrooms/showers are located throughout the campground. Ours were clean, large and with plenty of hot water. Wifi and cable tv were good. The campground is within walking distance to West Yellowstone NP and a short drive to the park entrance. We would camp here again. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cafe Madriz is a hidden gem; focuses on Spanish food tapas, paella, etc. Left the kids at the motorhome with McDonald's and had a great date night.

Overall Rating:

This RV park is great, made even better by our previous stop at the National Park campground inside Grand Teton, which was very nice but a bit primitive and offered no WIFI, cable, over the air or cell.

We have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place.......except the time they choose to clean the restrooms. They are all closed between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. We found this very inconvenient. You would think they'd pick a time like 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. when most everyone is still out exploring Yellowstone.

The location is perfect, just a mile from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The registration area is huge and the staff are super friendly. The roads are paved and wide. The sites are gravel, long and level. Very spacious. Lots of grass and just the right amount of trees. Most sites are pull through but there were some back ins along the perimeter. Utilities worked fine. Decent cable with about a dozen channels. No problems getting satellite. WiFi was really good most of the time but did bog down once in a while. The park is laid out very nicely, with restrooms scattered throughout. The restrooms were modern and spotless. We stayed in site 200, which is a corner spot with a huge grassy area on the driver side. A real gem. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Two grocery stores, neither very good. Allow yourself an extra 20 minutes to get into Yellowstone (Madison Junction) as traffic comes to a halt several times with everyone slowing down to see the buffalo.

My experience here was not as great as many seem to have. First, I was assured on the phone that an ADA accessible site large enough to accommodate my 35' fiver and long-bed, crew cab truck would be reserved. When we arrived, the only site available was a short back-in in the far corner of the park. Just barely big enough for the trailer, much less the truck.

Wi-Fi was non-existent. Phone was spotty. Then "security" comes by and leaves a nasty note because one wheel of my truck was on the grass. Their answer was to park a half mile away at the office. When I explained I couldn't walk that far they offered no other solution.

I ignored them for two days and then we left. I don't know whether this was a management issue or just a couple of unpleasant, unhelpful employees, but we will not stay here again. If it is management, it is unfortunate that they have so many customers that they don't seem to care. Yellowstone is still great. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This place is spotless. The grass around the sites looks almost as manicured as a golf course. They do run sprinklers every night, so you might be careful what you leave outside. Outstanding service. I needed some limbs trimmed so I could get my slides out; the park maintenance person was at my site checking it out before I could even walk back from the office. Several times I needed to purchase items from the town and the office staff were very helpful. This park is only 1 mile from the West Entrance to Yellowstone, so it is very convenient to the Park. Travel time from here to most of the major sites is about 1 hour, unless you get in a "bison-jam." Then all bets are off. The wifi here is good. However, it is only free for two devices, so you may have to choose. Very good cellular service (Verizon) if you need that. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

From the West Entrance to the Grand Loop road is 14 miles. The Madison River parallels the West Entrance Road most of that way. Breath-taking scenery. Many great spots for fishing, if you have a Wyoming fishing license (most of the park is in Wyoming). There are two grocery stores in West Yellowstone. You might not find the brand or the variety you are accustomed to, but you can find the essentials at either of the two.

Excellent large park with plenty of room to maneuver on interior paved roads. Pull-through sites very long. This place was perfect to stay several days while visiting Yellowstone NP. The staff was fantastic. The park was like a small community with playgrounds for the kids and a great store with basic amenities. Will definitely stay here again. Grizzly RV Park is an great place and one of the nicest so far we have used. The staff is great, helpful and very friendly. The roads are wide, paved and easy to navigate. Easy in and out of all pull-through sites. A very well planned park with outstanding landscaping and maintenance. Grassy sites with small trees and shrubs everywhere. The price was reasonable for this very nice RV park. We will stay there again on the next trip. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

In 20 plus years of RVing, this is definitely one of the best RV parks we have ever stayed in. Very clean, very friendly, nice wide sites with grass. Staff was the most friendly and helpful anywhere. Overall Rating:

We have been here several times in the past and always look forward to our stay here. The park is big, and has RV spots as well as cabins and tent spots. We got in at the off season rate, and then a rate of $45 a night for us, an excellent deal. The spaces are angled with decent room between rigs, the patio's are good sized and well placed. We were also given use of their new indoor Pavilion that was just built. It is so new that the plumbing and heat are not hooked up yet, but that didn't stop us from using it almost daily. All of the restroom facilities are top notch (as we had to use them) and handicapped accessible. Free WiFi is available throughout the park, but our Verizon air card worked pretty well. The signal was strong from a nearby cell antenna, but the bandwidth did suffer occasionally during peak periods. The west entrance to Yellowstone is minutes from the RV park, and we made a few day trips into the park to scan the numerous wild life roaming around. We saw bear, bison, and tons of smaller animals just coming out of the long winter season. This park never fails to please, and I don't give many "10" ratings! We will be back. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

It was early in the season, so we basically had the park to ourselves. However, the sites were outstanding. Clean, level, easy to get in and out, check in was a breeze. Wife loved the morning coffee and expresso. Bonus was seeing a fox wonder through the campground one morning. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.
