I second the comments from the last reviewer, i. e. very nice park, well laid out, super good sites, and best location with easy access to Yellowstone. Long, level gravel site with nice picnic table and sidewalk to front of coach. Know that you need a protective mat if grilling on the plastic table. Only demerits were no propane available, double image with cable TV, and cabin bunk beds are for kids only as only had a very thin plastic covered pad over wood slats for cushioning. We would stay in the park again but forego the cabin, although the shower in the cabin was very nice. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

There are many reviews of this campground. Most of them glowing. I agree that this is a nice campground. Not great. The restrooms are clean, but they don't have enough showers or toilets in them. You can wait long for a shower. Their reservation scheduling seems confused. If they booked your site for someone else in the middle of your stay, they move you to another site. Absurd. Every back-in is the same. Every pullthru is the same. Why not put the new guy in one of the other vacant sites. They need to work on that. They really do need a pool. With a campground this big, they need a big rec area with a big pool. We have stayed at many campgrounds and this is a must. Folks with children need a place to let them unwind. This is a pricey campground, but this is a supply / demand market. We would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The campground is right in town. It is an easy walk to shop and eat. The town is an excellent tourist town with real nice shops and eats. And, of course it is right at the entrance to Yellowstone. We really enjoyed the convenience.

The park is extremely well kept. In fact to an extreme. Staff are very nice and pleasant. Great location, close to town but not to close. Big enough that if your planning a last minute need to reserve they seem to be able to accommodate you. There are lots of rules so you will want to pay attention when checking in. Lawn sprinklers seem to be a problem for them so if you break one its $50.00. WIFI is pretty much useless if your in the back of the park, typical though. My reason for an 8 is we think the value does not match the price they ask. It feels as if they are charging to much. We have stayed in parks of equal or better and have paid less. Of course it is next to Americas first National Park so I guess the owners can just about charge anything they want. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Signage directing you to the park should be improved. Staff is pleasant. Roads are easy to navigate for big rigs. Our site was just long enough for our big rig and toad. Utilities are well placed and worked well. Campground is attractive and well manicured. There is no traffic noise. They don't have a rule preventing you from washing your RV. Wifi is horrible. Cable was okay. Overpriced. Campgrounds that charge this much should have decent Wifi. I would stay again, but not before looking around. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

If you're visiting Yellowstone National Park you can't get any more convenient than this RV park as it's located just outside the entrance. It is located on the edge of town and adjacent to a natural forest on 2 sides. There are lots of mature trees between sites in the older section, but sites 270 and above are newer so the landscaping is smaller. The shrubs and grassy area between sites is watered nightly, so everything is very lush and green. Roads are paved and easy to navigate even for big rigs. I don't know what site one of the previous reviewers stayed in, but most of the sites are spacious and level. Our Dish satellite worked fine, but you do need to find a spot to shoot between the trees. They offer free cable & Wifi, though it was very slow at times. We're fairly picky about noise, and that is NO issue here...very quiet. Our only complaint is that it is WAY expensive for providing no amenities (pool, spa, etc.). I guess they figure you'll pay that much to be right outside the park entrance. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

The Campground is a wonderful layout and super clean, large sites BUT if you get a backin site (even the larger pull throughs are designed like that but you just have more room to park your vehicle) be aware that the sewer hookup is in the middle (length of the site - not where you park your RV) of the site, so to reach it you have to bring a very long sewer hose or just not hook up which most of us did and then dump as you leave with the hope that you are not using it much. They have great facilities available but the point is that the sewer connection is a very very poor layout, especially for the rate you pay. A bit disappointing since the park itself is great. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Truck Camper.

Pretty, well-maintained park with level, gravel sites, patios, and grassy yards. Not a lot of extra amenities such as a pool or dog park, but we were here for Yellowstone NP. The WiFi worked pretty well and we had 4 bars 4G on ATT. We had no problem connecting our satellite. The lady who checked us in was extremely helpful. There's a visitor information center close by with a desk manned by park rangers. The ranger we talked to gave us a lot of great information including can't-miss sites, road construction, and ranger talks. He really helped us plan our days in Yellowstone.

A very clean and well kept park. A little pricey but this is Yellowstone. Conveniently located near all the amenities the town has to offer and close proximity to the park itself. We could only stay one night even though we booked months in advance as the place fills up very quickly. Our site was just barely long enough for the 40 footer and the toyota toad and very narrow. There are many larger sites if you can get one. Ignore the posted price. I don't remember exactly how much we paid. We would stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice campground, very well maintained. Couldn't hook up sewer as the hole was in the middle of the site. Had to park further back so I could open slides on both sides because of trees. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a great site with a couple of pine trees, grass and space to sit outside and enjoy the gorgeous weather. Pull through site with more than enough room for our 37' motor home and small SUV. Lots of kids playing in the playground just across from our site, very pleasant park with fairly good wifi and just a short walk to the downtown area. Post Office just outside the entrance. No real dog park, but places to enter the woods that are around the park (go there with caution, since bears are common). We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Downtown is a short walk from the park, and the West entrance to Yellowstone National Park is just a 5 minute drive. Lots of shops and eateries, as well as the Playmill Theater. We went to see the play "Singin' in the Rain" one night and the cast puts on a fabulous show! We also went horseback riding at Parade Rest Ranch, just a few miles outside of town.

Nice park, but large, lots of people. Wifi slow. Good facilities. For the price I prefer Colter Bay. Don't enforce their rules too well... Grills and Ice chests left out for bears, cars parked out into roads, drone flying. Good option if you only want to see Yellowstone. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I was really looking forward to staying here after all the great reviews. It is a beautiful RV park, very clean, nice trees. Site fairly level, long enough for 40ft motorhome and toad. If you're trying to call them, it may take you awhile to get through. If they have customers at the desk they don't answer the phone. Nice for the customer there, not so nice when you're trying to get there and need an answer. Everyone there was pleasant except for one older woman, she was very snooty. The brochure they give you is full of rules, but have fun. Wifi for only 2 devices. With 5 people that was not fun, then my son fiqured a way ;) No campfires allowed, but the lodge right down the street had huge fire pits. No mats or carpets, and their sprinklers come on everynight to douse your stuff. You must park your RV and toad in a straight line.(so you don't disturb the sprinklers) No hammocks.....lots of rules. Very nice grounds, but if ever back in the area will try a different cmpground. We camped at Yellowstone Grizzly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very well landscaped park, conveniently located to West Yellowstone Park entrance and located in walking distance of the town of West Yellowstone. However, for Big Rigs and those pulling toads, the sites are short making it difficult to use. While the park has many things going for it, we felt it was overpriced. There are other parks in town, but none is as nice as Grizzly. The place is spotless with level, gravel sites, a cement patio as well as a sidewalk from your car to the patio. There is also grass on either side of the site. Grizzly is a little pricey, but you are right in town. There's a nice store and the employees were very helpful.
