Well kept RV park. New and clean bathrooms/showers. Staff real friendly and helpful. Beautiful area near West Yellowstone which is about 12 miles away. Park and marina is on Hebgen Lake. Boat rentals available. We went fishing one morning and got skunked, but it was fun boating around the lake. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This park is on the north shore of Hebegen Lake. It's part of a fairly large marina. It's 13 miles north of West Yellowstone, so it's very secluded, although it's right off a busy two lane road. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rv sites are spacious and level and have great views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The interior roads are gravel. Most of the sites are back in. The facility that houses the office, showers and laundry rooms look to be very new. Everything was very clean including the grounds. Electrical, water and sewer all worked fine and were well positioned on the site. The rate is high but everything in West Yellowstone is high. The RV park is 12 miles away from West Yellowstone, so plan carefully for anything you need for meals while in West Yellowstone. West Yellowstone has several restaurants and at least 2 grocery stores. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

This turned out to be very convenient base from which we made several trips to Yellowstone Park. Entrance to the Park is right at West Yellowstone and is about 14 miles from some of the more popular things to see in the Park. There's a great restaurant up the road west of the RV park. We had a terrific breakfast, with our seats about 50 feet from the beautiful Madison River.

Very nice park. First time we've had grass and space at our site in about 6 weeks, so we were grateful for this park. Hosts we're very friendly and helpful. They had WiFi and AT&T coverage wasn't too bad. They have a beach area and boat launch and cabins. It's a very short drive to the town which has a large selection of shops and restaurants. We only ate at Pete's Pizza but it was really good. The only negative comment I'd have was that the dog park was full of very tall weeds and holes. Other than that, we'd definitely come back. Stayed 2 nights. Price was high ($65) but in line with the area. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Motorhome.

The other reviews are accurate. Wide, clean spaces, good wifi, good power & water. Clear view for satellites. Verizon worked well & 15 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The views of Hebgen Lake and the snow covered mountains are incredible. You are away from the hustle of West Yellowstone and will enjoy the solitude of this side of Montana. The management team here is superior. They have a marina on site 7 will rent you a boat for $20 per hour, gas included. Normally we would not rate a park a "10" that has gravel roads and sites, (however they have your picnic table on a concrete pad), but the place is awesome. We will return... Yellowstone is experiencing tremendous crowds. I'd recommend that you add a couple of days to your plans to truly enjoy the park. Get in the park early to avoid the crowds and busses.

Beautiful spot. Could use a couple of trees for privacy. But fantastic campground, everyone is super friendly. Everything was super clean. They could make a killing if they set up a system where you could leave your pups at the campground, kind of like a doggy daycare. I would have paid good money for that peace of mind! We loved this place. Stayed here 5 nights while we explored Yellowstone and Tetons. Had a lake front premium spot with perfect view of lake and snow-capped mountains in background. Kids loved playing in the lake. Staff was great, bathrooms super clean. WiFi worked good. Zero complaints, would go back without hesitation. Full hookup sites with open sky for TV reception. Verizon reception good. Free WiFi that works OK, with the signal dropping out. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest I have seen. Nice, roomy sites, each with a concrete pad, picnic table, and grass surrounding. Very helpful management. Right off Hwy 287. Highway noise was very noisy in the morning but quieted down at night. Great views of Lake Hebgen. Our site N29 was right on the road. I would recommend staying in the sites to the far left of the launch ramp, better views and farther away from the street. We would stay there again. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Not worth the rate that they charge for not having anything for kids to play in, like a pool or game room. Also no cable hookup or TV signal. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here while visiting Yellowstone. When making vacation plans I first had a place within the town of West Yellowstone picked out until I ran across this one. I am sure glad I found this place as it is in a beautiful setting! Right of Hebgen Lake across from the mountains! The extra distance to drive to the national park didn't bother us as the setting was so nice! Now for the details, check in was super easy and the staff was so nice! The grounds have no trees and are nicely maintained. Who would want to block that view anyway with a tree! We would definitely stay here again!! If I could give this park 25 stars, I would! Spacious sites, gravel but not level. Easy walk to the lake or well stocked store. The owners were incredibly friendly, the laundry and restrooms were immaculate. Truly a "camping in the wilderness" feel, with no road noise or noisy campers. The wifi was slow but we didn't need it. I can't recommend this park enough! We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a fabulous park! It is on Lake Hebgen, with beautiful views of the lake and mountains. It is also a working marina. It is 13 miles north of the west gate to Yellowstone. The sites were a little unlevel but nothing that couldn't easily be fixed with the jacks. Utilities were good. Grounds well kept. The price is amazing for the area. They do not charge for extra people. We were told the kids could come to the office to get playground balls. We will be back every time we come to Yellowstone! This park is about 15 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. The office staff were helpful and friendly. We had a site right on the lake and it was very nice. I judge a park primarily on the surroundings and appeal because we don't use the bathroom or laundry facilities. The lake is very picturesque and my dog was able to go swimming and have lots of fun. I wish it a was not a back in site because our front window only faced other RV's.

I am very glad we did not stay in town because the parks there are essentially parking lots with no room.

I highly recommend. We camped at Yellowstone Holiday RV Campground & Marina in a Motorhome.

Holiday RV Park is a special place right on Hebgen Lake and close to Henry's Lake world famous for big trout fishing. It is conveniently located to the town of West Yellowstone and near the greatest blue ribbon trout rivers. Employees, location, and park services are excellent with too many to list. Very clean and high-end. Special services includes a small marina with store supplies, boat rentals, canoes, beach, and boat ramp with fuel depot. Sites are drive through with all services/utilities. When you arrive one feels at home, comfortable, safe, and very peaceful. The first visit will always force more visits in the future! And there are NO bear or moose issues.
