This is a pretty neat place - wasn't expecting something this nice in such a remote location. Few blocks west of the main route through town, so it is quiet. Verizon services worked excellent. White crushed rock for drive and sites - but it is well maintained so I am good with that. Hosts are superb. Ice cream social in the evening. I am impressed with this place and would seek it out again if in the area. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

If ever in this area again, we would definitely stay here. Not just because there isn't much else to choose from, but because it has the nicest/friendliest owners and people working for them, a very clean little park, with the best wi-fi we've encountered in a long time. This park sells memberships to Coast to Coast & RPI, so that was one of the reasons for our stay here, and we took advantage of the special rate for 2 nights to hear about these memberships and I can say that there was no pressure to buy, just gave us a lot of info to think about and if interested, they were there to take care of it for us. Nice little MT made gift shop in the office as well. Sites were average in size I'd say. Trees are small so not a lot of shade but for a few nights it was fine. We will definitely be back to this park when in MT again. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

About 40 miles away is the Bair Family Museum.....a definite must do if in the area. Also in White Sulphur is the 'castle' which is also an interesting tour, a work still in progress but worth a visit.

Surprise. The CG is located just off MT-12, close to 9 hole golf. Roads and sites are gravel and there are grass buffers between sites. Utilities are well situated. Some sites are full hook-ups, others not, and the dump station is convenient. There is a hot springs spa nearby, at the Motel, open to the public. Wed. and Sat. at 7PM there is an ice cream social, informal sales pitch for the membership CG. Lots of fun. There is considerable history in the valley surrounding White Sulphur Springs, worth the trip. CG Wi-Fi is sketchy at best, our JETPAK pulled a 4 bar, 4G signal. Cell phones are haphazard. HDTV reception mostly depends on the intensity of the smoke from the wildfires in the NW. We enjoyed our stay here and would return when in the area. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Bair Ranch and Museum, Northern Pacific RR artifacts, Ringling Bros home, and "The Castle" are worth the time and effort. Local amenities are sparse but essentials can be found.

We are currently in our second night at Conestoga RV Park. It is every bit as nice as the previous reviewers have said. Our site is level, with wonderful views in all directions. The laundry and washrooms are clean. People are friendly and helpful. There's not a lot to the town of White Sulphur Springs, but we would definitely stay at Conestoga again next time we pass through this area. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

Stopped here for a couple nights on my way down US 89 from Glacier to Yellowstone. Nice staff. Spacious layout, with lots of grass. Young trees but too young to provide any real shade. Did not use showers or laundry facilities. If you want to spend time in this area, highly recommend this park. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Travel Trailer.

The park was clean , level gravel sites, had picnic table and grassy area. Had a fishing pond but you had to pay $6 a fish they were rainbow trout. Great place to stay one night. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There was nothing there to do if so we would of stayed longer.

I agree with all the previous positive reviews. Wonderful park, very friendly and helpful staff. WiFi, Verizon phones, Direct satellite all worked well. We would definitely stay here again. If we're in the area again we will plan to stay here. One of the best parks we've been to. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

Rate is Passport America. This is one of the best RV parks we have been to. The owners not only try to make it nice they seem to have found the magic formula that most miss. Our pull-through was level, the interior roads are good gravel and wide enough to make it easy to get around and the utilities all worked well. Management and staff were very friendly and personally invited us to an ice cream social where we were told about all there is to do in the area. We had grass and a picnic table at our site but little afternoon shade. The well maintained grounds are beautiful and there is a small stocked pond to watch the sunset/sunrise or fish. Wi-Fi worked well as did our Verizon phones. There was no cable but there were a few local channels that we were able to pick up. Also they had free DVDs to borrow. We enjoyed walking into town more than once and there are a few restaurants and a small well stocked grocery store. There is also a farmer’s market one day a week. The sites were narrow and there is no cable or I would have given them a 10. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

The waterfront is the fishing pond. The rate is Coast-to-Coast. The reason I gave it a 9 was that there is no pool. The past reviews are right on. It is located just off US89 (one of the nation's beautiful drives from Glacier NP to Yellowstone). This is a very quiet and safe campground. I wish it was closer to where I live. We strongly recommend it to anyone passing through. The Wi-Fi was very good. Water and electric was strong. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Fifth Wheel.

Level gravel sites, WiFi decent, bathhouse very clean, quiet, in the middle of nowhere (but that can be a good thing). Be sure to visit Castle Town (ghost town). We would stay here again. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Tent Trailer.

Great park, but isolated. Access to the Lewis and Clark National Forest. Very clean well kept. We stayed here very early in the season and the only other RV in the park was the workamper. Even though it was early water, sewer, and electric all worked. Good Verizon 4G signal. Beautiful valley setting. Sites are a little narrow for big rigs with slides. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

This is a nice campground, and you do not have to belong to a membership club to stay. They accept PA. All sites are open for satellite and Verizon data was excellent. Did not try the park Wi-Fi. All utilities were fine. People were friendly. We camped at Conestoga Campground / Smith River Valley in a Motorhome.

The owners and work campers were very friendly and knew about the area. The sites were level pull throughs and good for big rigs. There were mountain views and beautiful sunsets. The camp is well maintained and the facilities were very clean. Wi-Fi worked well. There was an ice cream social on the weekend. We would recommend this camp.
