Overall Rating:

Wide open grass field. Ground was very uneven. Woman who checked us in was very nice; the only other camper came over to chat. There were a few fire rings and picnic tables, not enough for everyone. No WiFi or cable. Between Rt 94 and the RV park, the most direct route is Rt 7 (N Wibaux St). This road goes under the railroad tracks with a height clearance of 14'. We didn't risk it; we went over the tracks via G Street which is a few blocks west. We camped at Beaver Valley Haven in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Easy walk to the Beaver Creek Brewery on Orgain Ave. Continue heading west on Orgain Ave to check out a cool stone church, and a bit further west is a park with a statue of Wibaux.

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This park is under new management and is priced for oilfield patrons (owner's words; not mine). There were a few mowed sites that we noticed after we were all setup. The location they gave us was essentially weeds that were in serious need of mowing. We stayed here because we have family in the area otherwise we would have found an alternative location. This park needs serious work and seems over-priced for what you get. We camped at Beaver Valley Haven in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This place has perhaps 5 cabins and perhaps 25 sites in what looks to be a years ago farmstead. A few of the sites have shade from very mature cottonwood trees. Sites are quite close together. However, when we stopped, we were the only one in the campgrounds so was no problem. Enough room to put out slides on both sides. Adequate gravel driveways and grass sites that are well mowed. Antique tractor and threshing machine and other old machinery on the grounds. Enter the campground at the old tractor and walk up to the house to register. Located in a scenic area along beaver creek. We camped at Beaver Valley Haven in a Motorhome.
