4 RV Parks near Zurich, Montana
Oct 2015 - $15.00
This is a very small city park with a limited # of spaces. I had used the site the preceding year but had not been able to take advantage of the hook-ups because all the spaces were full. This time, myself and my traveling companions both found suitable hook-ups for power for both trailers. The area is grassy with pit toilets located fairly close.
The care taker is very friendly and she lives close by. - Lukes
Sep 2015 - $25.00
Update to previous review...owner stopped by on several occasions asking me to unhook my water at night because he feared it would freeze. A fair request, only it never got below 40 degrees. I kindly obliged. They do NOT take credit cards. Dusty, dusty lot which means the inside of your RV gets coated in sand and dust. Some construction workers moved in and "made a mess" in the toilets, which I did not see so the owner who complained about cleaning the bathrooms CLOSED the showers and bathrooms! I couldn't believe it. After a few days he opened them again. Laundry on site was closed. Need to walk to neighboring business to do laundry. Owner stopped by one day and asked me to leave because the night before I did not disconnect my water. Did not know he wanted it disconnected EVERY night. The low temperature according to the National Weather Service in Chinook, Montana on the evening off 9/26/2015? 43 degrees. This owner is not suited to being a RV park owner in the hospitality industry. There's a new place between Havre and Chinook. Stay there. Stay anywhere. Just not here. - Johnny Blood

It's really quite sad this RV park isn't better. Located in the heart of Chinook, it last even the most basic amenities. There is not a blade of grass anywhere. Slots are compact and there are no pull-throughs. They even force you to park your vehicle right next to your trailer so you have no area to hangout on under the awning. Very tight. Never received the pass code to the shower/bathroom. No one ever in the office. No Internet available. $150 for a week's stay and $350 for a month's stay, which isn't bad...if this place had something (anything) to offer. - Johnny Blood
Oct 2006 - $20.00
Standing water covering 1/4 of the lane in the park. One of the toilets was plugged and remained so even when reported to the office. Persons using restroom to smoke in. No venting for bathroom/shower. No toilet paper or soap in the restroom. Claimed there was wireless internet but it didn't reach to the RV park portion. Only RV park in town. - mtriverrunner

I stayed here two nights in site 14 while passing through in a 27 foot motorhome with tow car. Park is nothing much. Small fenced in grassy area just off Route 2. Full hook ups -- no facilities on site -- all back in sites. Run by the Reservation. You need to call to make a reservation in advance. Water hookups are a little weird -- spigots surrounded by big plastic pipe that makes hookup difficult. There are restrooms at the rest area across the street and a gift store. Gas station also directly across street with a casino next door. Stayed here because I wanted to do the buffalo tour and tour of the reservation including Mission Canyon. Tours were great. Call same number to make tour reservations. There is a bike trail just outside the park paralleling Highway 66 that is good for dog walking -- just watch for rattlesnakes. Verizon service good. - SoloRed
Sep 2018 - $37.00
There is an onsite petting zoo so that may be of interest to small children. We simply were looking for an overnight transit stop and it met the objective. No additional charge for 50 A but not all sites have 50 A plugs. The park is across the road from a train track but it didn't bother us. Cute humorous signs throughout the park.... as we were leaving, we "did check for penguins under the rig". - cherib
Aug 2018 - $28.00
Nice overnighter or more. Nothing bad to be said about it and an excellent value for the money. You are as noted a few miles outside of town. - peddy dick

Stayed for one night as planned. Nice park in very remote area 10 miles east of Havre. Only a few campers so we felt secluded. Level, gravel roads. Newer infrastructure. Because of its remoteness, it's actually quite beautiful. Horses and cattle graze next to park. Route 2 is main road thru this area of Mt. so day time traffic is heavy and park is adjacent to road. Train traffic is heavy and park is adjacent to tracks. Host was very friendly and helpful. Good place for a one night visit. - Globeville
