The spaces are rather close to each other but are well shaded. The park is dusty due to a well traveled gravel road next to the park. However, the park is well maintained, the owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The sewer hookup is somewhat awkward but the guide to your spot ensured you were able to connect. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Lot's of things to do if you museums and old well kept buildings. The Dawes County Museum was very interesting. Nearby Fort Robinson is a must see and you can easily spend most of day there. For a good meal in an unlikely setting you should visit The Outpost which is quite literally in the middle of nowhere.

This was a quick overnight stop when we were traveling. Management was very helpful. While this is an older park, and a little rough, it was clean and the hookups were convenient. There are not many options in the area and this place was as good as any. Do shake down anything you put outside. This is sand hill country & there are lots of ants. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

Ok for an overnight. Great location for us. Easy on/off the Highway. Good signage, very friendly office staff. Sewer hookup was recessed pretty deep so an overnight hookup was not possible and awkward to dump in the morning. Very quiet road noise, shady, gravel pad. Excellent wifi but no cable. Would stay again if it was just an overnight. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

The only plus about this place is it's right off the interstate. Tractor trailers and full-time mobile homes in "estate" area. They obviously do not clean up after campers leave dog poop barbecue tools wrenches, trash everywhere. Could not walk without stepping in dog poop. About 3 feet of grass between sites . Very tight spaces picnic tables anchored to cement pad so no possibility for maneuverability. Barbecue grills in small cement pad for tables. Not kept well at all very run down, dusty and dirty. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

We stayed there traveling to Wyoming on highway 20. There are very few places to overnight in western Nebraska. The lady in the office was friendly enough. There are some full timers living there but the park is maintained. There is a gravel road adjacent to the park that is heavily traveled creating lots of dust. We tried to sit out late in the day but couldn't handle the dust. There is WiFi that worked off and on like many parks we've visited. I think $30.00 is a little excessive with little services provided. This park is average, I probably would not stay there again. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

Eagles Rest RV Park Chadron, owner at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping responded to this review

Thank you for the feedback! We do work hard at keeping our park well maintained. Unfortunately the hot dry weather has not helped keep the dust down on the country road next to the far row of our park. My apologies for having trouble with the wi-fi... if we had known it was acting up, we could've reset the modem. It doesn't sound like you had the time to take advantage of our picnic shelter, bon-fire pit, horseshoe pit or laundry and shower house. The next time you pass this way, please plan on staying a bit longer - there is much to see and do around Northwest Nebraska! Happy safe travels!

Nice park right off of 20 in Northern NE. Sites are level and flat with lots of shade trees. Gravel road surrounds the park, so its get a little duty. Full hookups, and WiFi that can stream all for under $25 a night at a weekly rate. No fire pits at site, but there is a large fire pit/picnic area and also a horseshoe area. Sites are pull-throughs and buddy sites. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a basic, no frills park. Currently there are many long-term residents who work in the area. The camper chooses his own site. Sites are narrow, but wide enough for slides. There are many trees, so getting a satellite signal may be tricky. Our site was not level, and the ground was littered with cigarette butts. The sites are gravel, with sparse grass between sites. It looks like the original intent was for side-by-side hookups, but only one hookup is used. Most of the others had vehicles parked in them. Interior roads are fair. Utilities worked well, and wifi was satisfactory. The residents of the park are quiet, but there is a lot of highway truck noise toward the front of the park. This park is good for an overnight, but not really a destination park. We have stayed here before and will choose it again when in the area. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

The laundry is relatively cheap. The monthly rate is $395. Restrooms recently painted. Sites have a picnic table and grill. Cottonwoods throughout park. Owner seems friendly. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park has both longer term sites and over night sites. It is gravel and grass between. The park has several trees so satellite can be difficult. The utilities work good the WIFI was good for us, better than most. The office people were very nice and accommodating. It is a no frills park but a good over night or to visit the area using this as a base. This is a place we would return if in the area. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

Old park. Small. Pull thrus were wide. A lot of old run-down travel trailers permanently parked--I guess they can be rented but they make the park look awful. Wi-Fi was slow. Dusty road down the side of park with a lot of big rigs stirring up dust. $25 for 30 amp; $30 for 50 amp. For the price, a good park. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

This was a nice campground. Showers and bathrooms were always very clean and laundry facilities were onsite however WiFi was pretty unreliable. Stayed for 2 weeks doing biological survey in the area. Very nice owners and good reliable hookups. Would recommend. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Travel Trailer.

Hasn't changed much over the years. Just a basic overnight stop in an area with few options. The WiFi is marginal at best. The antenna is attached to the road side of the metal building/office/showers/laundry. It pretty well blanks out coverage past the first row or two. No discounts. Just 25 for 30A and 30 for 50A. Take it or leave. No one in the office or anyone to attempt to make contact after your arrival. Fair amount of road noise for those that like to sleep with the windows open. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Travel Trailer.

This is pretty poor campground. Trees hang down over the drive way and would scrape the top and sides of our trailer. The sites are not level. When leveled, our passenger sided tires were off the ground. Shore Power, 50amp is good. Water pressure was only 20psi. No one was in the office and we never saw anyone while we were here. We used an envelope stored outside the office and paid cash depositing it in a slot by the door. 30amp is $25 and 50amp is $30. No way an extra A/C uses $5 per day. Stayed one night so we didn't use the showers or restrooms. This is the only RV Park in the area and will do if you can't go further. Back side of the property is a trailer park called Eagles Nest Estates. Park here only if you have too. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for two nights with three grandkids. The rate was $26 plus $2 per child for 30 amp with full hookups. Eagle's Rest has large level pull-through sites with trees, and the roads and sites are gravel. The park was unattended when we arrived, and we selected our own site. To use a credit card we had to call a local business and provide the information. I never saw anyone in the office, although we were gone during the day and could have missed them. The showers and rest rooms were clean, although the grandkids freaked out over a few bugs in the mens room. There is a laundromat accessible via the showers. The Wi-Fi signal was very strong but very, very slow and almost unusable. My iPhone data service was not much better, but that is rural northwestern Nebraska. The grandkids were disappointed that there is no cable TV. This is an OK place to stop if you do no need any extras. There is not much else in the area. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.

Most sites are very level. Free Wi-Fi worked very well. Most sites are partially shaded. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Verizon cell and air card worked well. Easy in and out pull through sites. Will definitely stay here again. We camped at Eagle's Rest RV Park & Camping in a Motorhome.
