We only spent the night at the park but was very easy to get in and get out of. There were a lot of comments on the trains but after I laid down I never heard them overnight. I could hear them when I was awake but it was not that bad. The person that checked us in was great and he had us just pull along side a bunch of back in sites and plug in for the night. It was perfect for us and we didn't even need to level the trailer as the area was perfectly flat. I do need to mention the water as it was great!!! We live in Oregon on a well and are use to chorine free water and this water was the same. No strange tastes! I would recommend this park to anyone traveling. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is a very nice park, full hookups, level. The owner is an elderly gentleman who is a delight. He's friendly as can be as well as being a Cracker Jack woodworker. He took us around to his shop where he builds Adirondack chairs designed for older folks who have trouble getting getting out of traditional Adirondack chairs. The only drawback is there is a Union Pacific dual track main line that passes close by and a crossing adjoining the property. It does get a little noisy at times. It's still a great spot. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

It's the trains...it seemed every 20 minutes. They blow their horns 5 times going through town and you hear every one of them! Beautiful grassy sites, friendly owners: but those trains...0_0. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Not too much to do in Chappell, a small grocery store downtown. You can watch the trains go by under you if you like from the bridge:) Fun to photograph.

What a beautiful RV park! The owners keep the place clean and mowed. There's a lovely little creek and bridge to cross it. Many trees including a young orchard that is home to many birds.

The campground is only about a block from town.

So the trains...yes there are trains...all day and all night and they are about 3 blocks away. They did wake me up but if we'd been running our AC I wouldn't have noticed them.

We had such a relaxing time here that we would not hesitate to return. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Excellent value! Park owner friendly and helpful. Great little park for an overnight stay. I have stayed here before and will stay again if ever in the area. Very easy access off of interstate 80. Go north toward Chappell until you see entrance on left. No problem getting on or out with 33' motorhome towing. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Full hook up site, gravel roads and gravel pads, wifi was ok. Easy on and off the interstate. Trains, lots of trains, every 15 or 20 minutes. Rate is Passport America. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Located between I-80 and railroad tracks. Train comes through every 30 minutes and blows it's horn, but either we were tired or it didn't blow at night because we slept well from 11:00 to about 5:30. Owner very nice. Sites large. No complaints for the price. Wouldn't recommend the bowling alley restaurant. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Funky little park good enough for an overnight. Charming hosts - check out the rock collection in the office. Cash or check only. Wide roads, easy parking, nearby train tracks might bother some people, but we don't mind. Restrooms were sparking clean as was the shower. Abandoned ghost house on the edge of the property makes the place feel like something out of a Stephen King novel. Town is walking distance across the RR tracks where there is a grocery store, post office, and a few bars. Not much happening when we were there - one other RV. So you might have it to yourself. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is very close to the train tracks and trains run very frequently. I sleep with earplugs and was not awakened by the trains. You can walk to town where there are several nice little cafes with good food. The RV park has a nice park-like area with a small creek and a park bench. The owner is a very friendly elderly gentleman who keeps the restrooms immaculate. The price I quoted is the 50% off Passport America price. It's good for two weeks. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground is a real find! Rate is Passport America. Well cared for campground with full hook-ups. Friendly helpful owners. Perfect for an overnight or two. Excellent cafe about two blocks away that serves wonderful food at excellent prices. Good Verizon signal. A few OTA TV signals. The only drawback to this park is the trains, as mentioned previously. If that doesn't bother you, this place is a gem. We would return. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

One word - Trains. If you could take the trains out of the equation this campground would be a 10 out of 10. Very nice, helpful campground hosts, beautiful setting along a creek, pretty views. Easy access to highway. Verizon cell/data signal very good. There is a a train crossing at the campground, and train horns are sounded every time they come through, about one per hour. If you can deal with the trains, this place is a real gem. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This campground was a pleasant find. It is well maintained and the people who run it are as friendly as kind be. It is a no frills park but great place for overnight stay. If I wanted to get away from everything for a few days and crash, I would not mind staying here for several days. The Wi-Fi is great and Verizon signal strong. There are not many trees so no problem getting signal on dish. Love all the grass. As others have commented, the trains run by regularly. Warning: GPS will lead you long way in along a dirt road. When you get off interstate and GPS wants you to turn left, just keep straight and campground will be on left. We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Good for an overnight stop. Close to I-80 but has a train that goes by every 30 minutes or so but we were too tired to notice after the fourth or fifth one. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Rate reflects Passport America ($12.50). We camped at Creekside RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.
