2 Parks near Doniphan, Nebraska
Sep 2015 - $40.00
Long, level sites. A good place for overnight stop. Was quiet and felt safe. Lots of grass for dog walking. The road to the campground turns into gravel and is a washboard. - Barbie Queue
Aug 2015 - $36.00
Site was level, 50 amp hookups & cable (we didn't use it), very clean and quiet. We did not have a sewer but didn't need it so that was fine with us. Price reflected that. Lots of big rig sites available. Good area for dogs. The sites are not huge but we had an end site so no one on the driver's side. There are shade trees scattered through the campground, which is nice. The cafe offers a "daily supper special" which we took advantage of. It was very good and well worth the $7.95. They also offer pizza which is fixed there.
We would definitely stay there again! - KarenS144
Jul 2015 - $40.00
We had a level, long pull thru so that we could stay hooked up, as this was just and overnight stop. The staff was friendly and helpful and escorted us the the site. Everything worked well and the pool was VERY refreshing after a hot traveling day. Not too far off I80, but quiet at night. Bonus was a crop dusting plane working in one of the adjacent fields. - ronboett
Sep 2015 - $25.00
Price includes $5/daily entry permit but not the $7 reservation fee. Entry permit is $25/year. OK campground. Sites are mostly level and wide, but tend to be short. Roads are decent for a big rig and it was easy to back in. No water or sewer hookups, and you block the road when filling up at the water spigot. The biggest drawback is its location at the intersection of an interstate and highway. Most of the time the road noise isn't bad, but for some reason trucks frequently need to hit their jake brakes and the sound really carries. Otherwise it's a decent campground and I'd give it a higher rating if they had FHUs. - Keeping up with the Joneses
May 2015 - $20.00
Stopped here overnight on our drive back from Ohio to Colorado and got the very last available site. It was by the road, so we didn't feel comfortable putting out our driver side slides for fear someone would drive by, not see them and either hit them or hurt themselves on it it. But the location was very pleasant and relaxing, with lakes to walk around. We didn't use the facilities as we had them on board. It was totally fine as an overnight. We would return, but would want a different spot so we could comfortably open all our slides. - RVLove.com
Apr 2015 - $20.00
Traveling across country and needed an overnight spot. The park is very easy to find from I-80, you can see the freeway traffic from the campground but you don't hear it. The campground has the Platte River on one side and Mormon Lake on the other, choose your site then self register at the entrance. The gravel sites have 30 & 20 amp electricity only. Fresh water fill and dump station have easy access. - Charlie M.
