This is not a fancy park but it is nicely laid out with trees and room between sites. Great view of ScottsBluff! The sites are long and level. WII FI works well enough although it had some downtime. Cable was fine with the little oddity of having a separate remote that you actually point to the box outside. It's quiet at night but picks up a bit in the morning as people leave for work. As it was off season, the office wasn't staffed a full day but we never had an issue getting in touch with someone. Staff were very friendly and were often seen working around the park. Although we never felt unsafe, it was nice to see patrol cars checking everything out. This park seems to be kind of in the middle of nowhere but it stays busy. We would return if we were in the area. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed at this park for three consecutive years now. Each year, there have been improvements over the last. There are long term residents, however, they present a neat and well maintained image. They are not an eye sore as they have been in the past. This park has asphalt streets, and concrete pads. There is adequate space between pads/rvs. There are some full hookups, some are not. There are also some tents sites. Well groomed lawn/grass by city employees. We will stay at this park again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Close to National Monument, shopping, and grocery store. The park has a dump station for those who did not have full hookups. Free WiFi is available.

The park is operated by the town of Gering. It is very nicely landscaped and affords a great view of Scott's Bluff. Sites are long and wide. Your RV will sit on concrete next to a concrete patio with a picnic while your site is surrounded by lush green grass. The park is patrolled regularly by the local PD. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Short ride to Scott's Bluff NM. About 25 miles to Chimney Rock NHS. There is a Walmart about 5 miles back up the road in Scottsbluff, but there is a closer and better grocery in Scottsbluff called the Main Street Market.

This is a pretty park, out in the country, and away from the noise of the city. There is lots of grass and trees. Everything is neat and well maintained. The sites are spacious and you do not look into your neighbor's rig. Scotts Bluff Nat'l Monument is nearby. Excellent cable. We would definitely stop here again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Scotts Bluff National Park is very interesting and beautiful.

Robidoux RV Park is owned and operated by the City of Gering. A full service RV Park with 42 sites and overflow. The grounds are amazing with huge expanses of lawns, flowers, shrubbery and landscaping with trees. All very professional because city employees are working here. The lawns even have pop-up lawn sprinklers on timers in the mornings. The access roads are blacktop and pads are long, level concrete. The distance between the sites is two or three times what is seen in most parks, and all green grass.
The orientation of the sites might be odd: some are drive-in, back-out; some pull through; and some double long pull-through for two units. You might finally use the extension cords and extra long hose you carry.
The park is very well cared for with resident hosts to help with problems.
Because it is part of the city it is frequently patrolled by the Police.
There are some permanents in retro trailers that are easy to spot with skirting and big LP tanks, but they are tidy and probably held to town ordinances. Excellent lighting at night with city street lights.
Utilities are convenient and hook up easy. Each site has a picnic table. The wi-fi can be a struggle at peak times but it is there. Cable is very good and unusual. They issue you a remote specifically for your site. The "cable box" that used to sit on your home tv is on the post under cover. Point the remote at the post, not the tv, and it works like a charm.
The bathrooms are clean and Spartan, rather reminiscent of camp, but very functional. Showers are hot. The laundry is well maintained and not expensive. Bathroom, laundry, office, and a rally room with kitchen are all in a big log cabin (real logs) type bldg.
Reservations would be a good idea. Rate reflects two free with a week stay and Good Sam. The park is on high ground: to the East the Nebraska plains with odd sandstone formations; directly behind (West) is the jaw dropping Scotts Bluff. Something to see in every direction. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Odd, the Scotts Bluff National Monument is in Gering, not Scottsbluff. In fact it is right behind this park. Gearing is a very nice little town. The Post office is happy to do our Escapees General Delivery. The "Big Box" stores are all in Scottsbluff; get what you need and scoot back to Gering.
Gering has a nice downtown, a delicious bakery and restaurants.

What a wonderful campground! It is right at the base of Scotts Bluff National Monument, so the view is astounding. The sites are very large although some of the roads are narrow. You choose whether you want sewer and/or cable and the price changes accordingly. The WiFi was OK.

The staff were helpful and very organized. A professionally run camp. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Easy in/out. Level, paved site. Utilities worked well. Verizon signal strong. We found the Wifi to be very shakey. We loved the distance between sites, nice large grassy area and the sites are staggered so you aren't just side-by-side. I give it a very rare 10. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Very close to the monument. About 5-6 miles to Walmart.

What a great campground!! The sites are leveled concrete pad and very spacious. A picnic table at each site. Plenty of grass and a basketball court. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Laundry room is clean but very small, two washers and dryers and a very small folding table. It costs $1.50 per wash load and $1 for 40 minutes drying time. Will definitely come back again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out Scottsbluff, Chimney Rock.

Interior roads are very narrow but most of the sites are drive-thru with full hook-ups, some with CTV. If you chose a CTV site you receive a channel selector at check-in with instructions on how to use it. The box you connect your cable to, at the power stanchion, is the CTV convertor box. In order to use the CTV system you must be in a place inside your RV which allows you to aim the channel selector at and communicate with the convertor box outside. Sites are concrete pad with asphalt approaches, mostly level and with large patio areas and metal picnic tables. The CG Wi-Fi is not great but does work with patience. Our Verizon Jetpak drew a 4G signal so we used that while here. This is a Gering City Park and is adjacent to a huge park facility with all kinds of equipment. Laundry is clean with 2 W&D. Gering is close and Scotts Bluff is across the North Platte river. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Scotts Bluff National Monument is minutes away. We stopped at Chimney Rock National Historic Site on the way into Gering. Fort Laramie National Monument is also nearby. All these sites are part of the big picture about the Oregon Trail.

Very nice park setting, spacious sites, concrete pads and asphalt drive and street. Office at rear of the park area. No pool. Small meeting room. Did not use shower or bath facilities. Quiet camp ground about 5 miles from quaint small town with little to offer but charm. The scenery is the attraction here, as it is a farming community with nothing else and no activities. Park is spotless and well maintained. You pay extra for cable but about 5 stations from antenna. Windy, so do not put awnings out. staff nice. A spotless park but no shade trees. Can not check in till 2pm??????? We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

One beauty shop, limited restaurants, 1 local grocery in town, Walmart outside of town on highway, just a farming town.

This RV park is a gem in Gering, NE. We camped here for a week in a 5th wheel at a very nice pull-through site with all hook ups. The interior roads are paved though a little tight. The site was concrete with a nice patio and picnic table. Excellent cable TV package, however the Wi-Fi was spotty at times. The sites are large with nice grass lawn between them. Scottsbluff is very close and picturesque with a nice national park. The park appears to be well maintained, however lacks a swimming pool/spa. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Scottsbluff National Park is a great place to visit with several good hikes. After 7:00 PM, the rangers will close the road to vehicles and you can hike up to the top of the bluff. Awesome views of the Mormon Trail and Old Oregon Trail. The Wildcat Recreation area is another nice state park about 9 miles away ($5.00/day) with some nice trails, education center and excellent views (especially Monument View). Chimney Rock is further away at 25 miles and not really worth the effort.

Every once in a while you find a true gem. This is a small, lovely campground run by the town of Gering. It is well laid out with good spacing between sites. Our site was long and level making set up really easy. The managers were friendly and very helpful. We had a view of Scott's Bluff. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Excellent city owned RV park. Spacious, well maintained, concrete slabs, asphalt roads, plenty of grass and trees. In our decades of camping, I've learned one thing and that is that dogs and RV parks do not mix with irresponsible dog owners. This park is no exception. Dog fights at 11 PM, incessant barking at 7 AM, etc. Too many long term tenants with skirted trailers, and 5th wheels. There was one older slide in pickup camper sitting on wooden pallets, one old school bus with a sofa sitting in front of it, etc. All of this detracted from an otherwise very nice park. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were so happy that we chose this town-run campground. If you are planning to visit Scotts Bluff and Chimney Rock this is where you want to stay. It is a stone's throw from Scotts Bluff and our site afforded a magnificent view of that landmark. The campground has concrete pads and patios with spacious, large, level pull-thrus with grass areas between sites. Our pull-thru site could not have been roomier. We had good Wi-Fi and cell reception on our Tracphone. We felt that the price of $24 (with Good Sam discount) was an extraordinary bargain for the ambiance and location of this campground and highly recommend it. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
