What a great campground!! The sites are leveled concrete pad and very spacious. A picnic table at each site. Plenty of grass and a basketball court. Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Laundry room is clean but very small, two washers and dryers and a very small folding table. It costs $1.50 per wash load and $1 for 40 minutes drying time. Will definitely come back again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Check out Scottsbluff, Chimney Rock.

Interior roads are very narrow but most of the sites are drive-thru with full hook-ups, some with CTV. If you chose a CTV site you receive a channel selector at check-in with instructions on how to use it. The box you connect your cable to, at the power stanchion, is the CTV convertor box. In order to use the CTV system you must be in a place inside your RV which allows you to aim the channel selector at and communicate with the convertor box outside. Sites are concrete pad with asphalt approaches, mostly level and with large patio areas and metal picnic tables. The CG Wi-Fi is not great but does work with patience. Our Verizon Jetpak drew a 4G signal so we used that while here. This is a Gering City Park and is adjacent to a huge park facility with all kinds of equipment. Laundry is clean with 2 W&D. Gering is close and Scotts Bluff is across the North Platte river. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Scotts Bluff National Monument is minutes away. We stopped at Chimney Rock National Historic Site on the way into Gering. Fort Laramie National Monument is also nearby. All these sites are part of the big picture about the Oregon Trail.

Very nice park setting, spacious sites, concrete pads and asphalt drive and street. Office at rear of the park area. No pool. Small meeting room. Did not use shower or bath facilities. Quiet camp ground about 5 miles from quaint small town with little to offer but charm. The scenery is the attraction here, as it is a farming community with nothing else and no activities. Park is spotless and well maintained. You pay extra for cable but about 5 stations from antenna. Windy, so do not put awnings out. staff nice. A spotless park but no shade trees. Can not check in till 2pm??????? We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

One beauty shop, limited restaurants, 1 local grocery in town, Walmart outside of town on highway, just a farming town.

This RV park is a gem in Gering, NE. We camped here for a week in a 5th wheel at a very nice pull-through site with all hook ups. The interior roads are paved though a little tight. The site was concrete with a nice patio and picnic table. Excellent cable TV package, however the Wi-Fi was spotty at times. The sites are large with nice grass lawn between them. Scottsbluff is very close and picturesque with a nice national park. The park appears to be well maintained, however lacks a swimming pool/spa. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Scottsbluff National Park is a great place to visit with several good hikes. After 7:00 PM, the rangers will close the road to vehicles and you can hike up to the top of the bluff. Awesome views of the Mormon Trail and Old Oregon Trail. The Wildcat Recreation area is another nice state park about 9 miles away ($5.00/day) with some nice trails, education center and excellent views (especially Monument View). Chimney Rock is further away at 25 miles and not really worth the effort.

Excellent city owned RV park. Spacious, well maintained, concrete slabs, asphalt roads, plenty of grass and trees. In our decades of camping, I've learned one thing and that is that dogs and RV parks do not mix with irresponsible dog owners. This park is no exception. Dog fights at 11 PM, incessant barking at 7 AM, etc. Too many long term tenants with skirted trailers, and 5th wheels. There was one older slide in pickup camper sitting on wooden pallets, one old school bus with a sofa sitting in front of it, etc. All of this detracted from an otherwise very nice park. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were so happy that we chose this town-run campground. If you are planning to visit Scotts Bluff and Chimney Rock this is where you want to stay. It is a stone's throw from Scotts Bluff and our site afforded a magnificent view of that landmark. The campground has concrete pads and patios with spacious, large, level pull-thrus with grass areas between sites. Our pull-thru site could not have been roomier. We had good Wi-Fi and cell reception on our Tracphone. We felt that the price of $24 (with Good Sam discount) was an extraordinary bargain for the ambiance and location of this campground and highly recommend it. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Extremely well-maintained and pretty RV park with large, level sites. Price reflects Good Sam discount. Several families seem to be living here and were a little noisy at times but not during quiet hours. Excellent Verizon. Would stay here again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

Paved roads and sites mostly level. My site I did level some. Nicely separated sites with extensive lush green grass in large central space. Electric, water, and sewer at site. Very clean with scattered small trees bushes. Pleasant lady at office. Good view of Scottsbluff national monument just a few miles away and worth your visit. A class act among campgrounds. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a jewel on the plains! There are a few long term campers here, but everything is well kept. All sites are concrete. Wi-Fi works well. No cable but you can receive ABC, CBS and PBS over the air. Satellite works well but my line of sight was blocked by a Class A motor home. Busy park - reservation recommended. Terrific view of Scotts Bluff from all sites. I would stay here again. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Very pleasant park. I don't think I've ever stayed in a place with so much separation between sites and the open space in the middle adds to spaciousness. Pull thrus are very long and ours was level. You can get cable on certain sites, don't know how many channels but is there. WiFi was OK - better than most not as good as some. The only real improvement I could think of would be some shade trees. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a very nice campground. Lots of green grass. Sites are not too close. Some are shared, but end to end, not side to side. There is a huge field on the inside of the loop of sites for children and pets. The restrooms were older but clean. The staff was friendly and very helpful in giving information about the area and finding good restaurants. The campground is very convenient to Scott's Bluff National Monument and Chimney Rock. We've stayed here before and will return. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

We love this place. It is a city-owned and city-run RV park, with spacious sites separated by lovely lawns. Good Wi-Fi, with good Verizon and AT&T coverage. Some sites have cable TV, but we opted out and found six very clear digital channels off the air (CBS, ABC, PBS). Close to Gering and stores, churches and little restaurants. Massive Scott's Bluff is on the western horizon. Beware six "pull-through" sites (34/35, 32/33 and 27/28) - they are nose to tail. Lotsa luck pulling out if you're the tail. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A very nice park with cement sites and full hookups, however the prices very for each type site. Prices range from 27 to 60 dollars depending on what your get, i.e. cable TV, sewer and what not. Well kept grounds and a reasonable club house. Nice folks run the place. We'd stay here again in our 38' motorhome. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.

I agree this park is generally excellent. WiFi slows with load but is adequate late in evening and early morning. CATV provided by Charter provides plenty of clear non-premium/local channels. Sites are nicely spaced with cement pads. Interior roads are paved. Beautiful grass between sites with some blooming iris flowers when we were there. Scottsbluff Monument is majestically visible to the west of the park. A tiny few negatives: Interior roads are narrow. I was just able to negotiate the corners with my 31' Class C. When you check in, you go to a "bank teller" window rather than to the usual "walk into a room with a clerk behind a desk" but it works and the staff was friendly. In the laundry, you'll find only two washers and two dryers. But the four worked fine and were economical. I'd definitely stay here again if in the general area. We camped at Robidoux RV Park in a Motorhome.
