Camping here at Pine Grove RV Park here in Greenwood, NE, a short distance from Omaha and Lincoln. Lots to see here. Campground is very nice. Plenty of space for my 40' Class A and my 18' trailer still attached. FHU, 30/50A, pull thru, gravel sites with a picnic table (and some sites have a fire pit). Grass patios separate neighbor sites with plenty of space between sites. Park provides Good Sam, FMCA and military discounts, and added my Good Sam and a military discount for a total of 30% off daily rate. Next to I-80, but I didn't hear much of that noise! Park is owned by a former Marine and the park is proud of any military service reflected in the many US flags surrounding the park!! Great parks for kids too with several playgrounds, an outdoor pool, with shuffle board and pickle/paddle court too. Easy check in and easy navigation around the park. I would certainly stay here again when in the area. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lincoln is about 20 miles and Omaha is about 30 on I-80. Lots to see and do! Go to the farmer's market on Lincoln on Saturday from 8:00 am to noon. Purchases need to be made before noon because right at noon is when vendors begin closing down. They are not permitted to sell any more merchandise after noon for some tax issue!! Saw something I liked at noon plus 3 minutes and the vendor apologized informing me that he couldn't sell anything after noon.

Called about reservations and were told no problem. We arrived and were met by a courteous and friendly staff. It was interesting to note that they have a full bar and dining area!

We were not impressed with the entry road as it is full of pot holes and a speed bump which really isn't needed. Other than that, the sites are level, decently spaced with good power and water, and sewer. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Had low 50 amp, was told "Don't go by cheap volt meter from Camping World, they never work anyway". Also had low water pressure in the shower, when someone in woman's bathroom turned on water I lost even more water pressure. Not worth the $40. We all need to demand better service for our money! We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed at this park for three nights in a 38 ft fifth wheel on a level gravel full service pull through. The park is extremely well cared for and clean. The area they fall down is on their client skills. The young man that checked us in was very condescending and made us feel that it was a bother to check us in. Also you will only get free wifi for one device here and when we asked how much for a second device the young man said we would find out when we tried to sign in a second device. This is good for a one night stop over as it is close to the interstate. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an older park that is clean but it looks tired. We did have a problem with the breaker for the 50 amps. They did replace it but a little grumpy about it trying to say it was me and too much stuff on. Problem is I have a management system to stop that and I had no problems after they replaced it, nor at any parks before or since.

The single computer on the wifi is a first. Not sure the thinking but just an aggravation.

I would stay again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Easy on and off to the interstate although the service road from the interstate to the park was a little bumpy with potholes, so go slow on this.

Easy check in, very friendly staff with a nice little store and lounge. There were 3 coaches of us traveling together and of course it was one of those 95 degree days and when we got to our sites we all plugged in at once and turned on all the AC's and promptly blew the main circuit breakers for the entire section we were parked in. Got to hand it to the staff as they were quick on the problem and dealing with us frustrated campers as were were concerned about the power situation. They quickly had the power back on and we had to gradually turn on the airs one at a time in each rig so as not to duplicate the power surge again.

The manager was so nice she brought us a bottle of wine for the ladies and a beer (cold) for the guys. You just can't find better service than this. Didn't have anymore problems and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Easy in & out from I-80. Very clean and quiet park, except expressway truck noise. Easy check in, very nice staff, part paved/part gravel roads need some work, long gravel, level site. No sewer hook up. BBQ & pizza restaurant at office. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Very clean, nicely maintained, level pull thru site for our 40 ft coach + toad truck. We only stopped overnight and did not need to unhook. Easy access off I80, exit 420. We received Good Sam discount along with military. This is a patriotic park, run by a military family. Very friendly staff and welcome. Likely if there were a race going on the noise from the track would be heard, but it was quiet during our night. Would stay here again when traveling. Not sure what the expectations are from everyone but this was a nice campground. Close to I-80 and great pull thorough sites. The restaurant was clean and nice. The folks friendly and helpful. The playground was nice as well as the pool. The restaurant was showing the Nebraska football game and everyone was invited to watch. The sites are well packed gravel and grass between sites was cut. The only negative was no cable TV. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

The good and bad here. Easy to find, park is relatively clean and seasonal folks keep their yards pretty nice. Our site was pretty level. The restrooms by the pool were very wet and slippery. Not good for elderly folks. The proximity to the highway didn't bother us much, as we are used to that when we only stay for one night, it's more of a "white noise" and better than a Walmart parking lot. HOWEVER, if you stay on a weekend (we stayed on a Friday night), be aware that there is a car racetrack right across the street. The noise was deafening, and didn't let up until midnight. Then they started up again at 8:00 am. Little to no sleep. The park folks didn't tell us about it when we called earlier in the day to reserve, nor when we checked in later in the day. The noise was so loud, it sounded like the cars were going to come right through the park. I know they can't do anything about the location, but it would have been nice to know so we could make a more educated decision about whether to stay there or not. Not happy, and will never stay there again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Easy access to and in the park with our larger 40'+ Big Rig RV. Decent and well kept park but nonstop noise. Highway noise and train noise day and night. Glad we didn't stay during a race at the stock-car racetrack which is literally right next to the park. Low water pressure. Next time in the area we will look for someplace quieter. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I'll echo much of the previous reviews, low water pressure, older but updated showers but was clean. Quite a bit of highway noise from I-80. I didn't notice any train noise. The restaurant looked cozy but we didn't use it. Our pull through site was not very level, had to put 3" blocks under the steer axle and still nearly had the tires off the blocks. The park is kept clean. A good stop for a couple of nights. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight stay after a long travel day. We did not unhook, just spent the night. This campground has a lot to offer to the people staying there. Lots of outdoor activities, including basketball, tennis court' volleyball court, shuffleboard, playground, pool and restaurants and bar. The sites were level and plenty long enough for our 31 foot travel trailer and pick up. The sites were gravel with a grassy area between each site. The wifi was limited to one device per site. Additional Internet access was able to be purchased. The restrooms were a mixed bag. They were clean and neat and the men's room garnered only one complaint for mediocre water pressure. The women's restrooms were a different story, the wallpaper was pealing, most of the doors to the showers would stick and had difficulty locking. One shower had the hot and cold pipes flipped. None of the showers had benches and one showers did not have any hooks. Getting Back to the positives, the staff was very friendly. The pool was clean and had plenty of seating and tables. They had also scheduled activities for the night of our stay. They were showing a movie outdoors. We would stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice facility with store, ice cream, games for the kiddies and pool. Long sites and pull-throughs for those of us with longer campers. Obviously it's an old Jellystone park so some things are a bit aged.

Don't care for the double wide owner's residence sitting in the middle of the park. And the one big dark spot is the owners, one or both are not people persons. Not something to be known for when dealing with public on a daily basis.

My MIL broke a cardinal rule and didn't check in when she came for a visit. (They require all non campers to pay two dollars a piece.) she entered the office and the line was long so she just went about pulling on in and finding us so we could visit. Well her car didn't have a tag in it so they owner called a tow company. After knocking on a few doors they figured out who owned the car and were rude to my wife and my 70+y.o. in-laws telling them that they couldn't cancel the tow company and the bill would be $100 dollars and making a scene in the main office. My wife calmly continued to ask who the company was so she could call them and the owner wouldn't tell us and said they were already on their way. A young worker did tell us and my DW called and said we didn't need a tow, that the car was leaving. They said they hadn't even dispatched anyone anyway. We said we would pay whatever fee there was and the owner stormed off apparently back to her golf cart and then the lawn mower to mow. Fairly obvious why she is mowing and not in the office dealing with the people face to face that are paying for her livelihood. Campground Nazi. Campers beware. Otherwise, it's a fairly nice place.

One tip I would give to the owners is invest in some new trees. None on our lot. None on several lots. Some had them on the back of the pull-through lot, which does no good for the hot afternoon sun. A row of trees to insulate road noise would be nice too.

Just a suggestion. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
