Nice location off I-80 and close enough to visit both Omaha and Lincoln. Big rig diesel friendly gas station at exit. You go about a mile to get to the RV park only to realize you have ended back up a spit from I-80, so it is a bit noisy. Surrounded by corn and soybean fields. Those in the front row have a nice, unobstructed view. Good signage to RV park. Long entrance and plenty of space to stop and register. Owners are VERY patriotic, with all kinds of flags, signs and statutes honoring our country and service men and women. Staff is friendly. The roads and sites are gravel. The roads are easy to navigate. The sites are long and level and have a grassy patio and picnic table. Some shade but most sites are satellite friendly. No cable but about ten OTA channels. Utilities worked fine. WiFi was good but you get just one voucher for use on just one device per site. Additional vouchers must be purchased online for $1.89 per day ($10/wk) for each additional device. Restrooms are old but clean. The plumbing in the showers looks like it's a hundred years old. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park between Omaha and Lincoln, but nothing close by. Just off I-80. Gravel roads and sites in pretty good condition. On exiting the park, about 6 speed bumps. Some are angled that make the RV twist and turn. Don't know why they build them that way. Bathrooms are in very good condition. Plumbing is old, but new tile floors and showers. Overall good condition. Full hookups, but no cable TV. Can pick up a number of channels on antenna. Picnic table at site. Overall good spot to stay. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

We really enjoyed this park. The sites were nice sized and very long. It rained the whole time we were there, but the ground soaked it up nicely. There is a really nice little bar/restaurant. We didn't eat at it, as we had all our food and didn't want to go out in the rain, but other campers said good things about it. It is one of the best-maintained parks we've been in. We'd definitely go back again if in the area. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived late in the afternoon a few days before the 2017 total eclipse and certainly some were staying for the event - we were moving each day so we enjoyed the area for one day only. The owners are retired military and dedicated to supporting the active military or veterans. The grounds were meticulously cared for and many US flags were evident. There was a large area dedicated to almost every sport activity one could imagine - volleyball, basketball, tennis court, pool and multiple recreation devices for children. The sites were reasonably level with good foliage. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Love this park, no problem with the rules or owners. The young folks who work here were wonderful, as was the owner. Sites gravel and a little off level but easier done. Pool was wonderful as was the wifi, no cable but good over the air. would stay again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Jack, the owner of this campground was extremely kind and helpful to us. We found out just prior to arrival that a portion of our roof was bubbling up. We called ahead and found out a mobile Rv repairman happened to be working on another unit on site. The repairman made a temporary small fix, but were told to get the unit to a dealer to have it permanently fixed. Jack came to see how we made out and suggested we might want to make an additional temporary fix. He suggested a 2x4 secured to the roof with ratchet straps to hold it in place. He then offered us the tools and materials to get the job done. He answered our questions and would not let us pay him for what was at least $30 of brand new materials. He said just send the straps back when we were done with them. His kindness was exceptional! The campground was also very clean and had nice trees, picnic tables, a very nice pool and the nicest laundry I have ever seen. We will definitely be back. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice park in rural Nebraska convenient to I-80 and bordered by farm fields on 2 sides. We expected some road noise but were pleased to find that it was not significant. Convenient to Omaha, Nebraska City and Lincoln. Park Wifi is good. We were given vouchers for 1 device a day. If you wanted more there is a reasonable pay by the day plan. The strenght was adequate for web browsing and checking emails, writing blog posts but we didn't use it for gaming or to stream music or videos. Good signal for our Verizon phones and Jetpack. Excellent satellite reception for Direct TV. All major networks available OTA. The office has a small bar and restaurant. There is a pool and playground here for those with little ones. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The SAC Aerospace Museum is right down the road in Ashland. Ashland has a small downtown area with restaurants and stores. We enjoyed Cheri O's for breakfast and the Glacial Till Winery for afternoon snacks. If you go try the 2012 Chamborcin...you will be happy you did. Omaha has a vibrant downtown and Old Market Area. Nebraska City has Mahew Cabin and the Arbor Farm. We are here to visit sites along the Lewis and Clark Trail but have found much more to celebrate in this part of Nebraska.

Our GPS devices brought us right to the park. The front office was courteous. The roads and sites and pad were all gravel with a grass patio. We were in a long pull-thru and the hookups were convenient and the spacing between sites was pretty good. There is free wifi provided by the park with some caveats. For one week you get 3 days free and then you have to pay. The signal was fairly strong but it was slow. The Verizon cellphone signal was fairly weak and there were a number of dropped calls. The Verizon 4g signal was also fairly weak. so we had a somewhat limited connectivity week. We had a great line of sight for our roof mounted satellite dish so our television watching was good. Although close to the interstate we didn't have that much road noise probably because we were in the row furthermost from the highway. The first part of the week the furthermost row was a good thing. Then on Friday night it became a bad thing as we were the closest row to the I-80 Speedway and they had races. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Park shows its age. Playground equipment is in the sun and is very hot during the day. They will spend 10 minutes reviewing every single rule on the check-in process. Don't park on the grass, don't put a rug or blanket on the grass, they are very specific about this. However it is all clover and little grass. Have to buy their firewood. The fire rings are shared about 6 sites to a ring. The same with covered picnic tables. Check-out is 11 AM. If you ask for a later check-out it will be $10 extra. If you have a visitor, it will be $2 per visitor, no matter what time they arrive and leave. If you use the pool, you cannot bring any drinks, including water, in with you. You must buy their drinks. WiFi was weak, can not stream or anything. You get one code for 24 hours, good on one device for each day of the stay. They for sure nickle and dime you for everything. We stayed for two days. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

SAC museum is very close and very cool. If you go into Omaha, there is a really cool park called Freedom park, open only on Saturdays from 10 AM-3 PM. there are full size naval ships, submarines, and helicopters. Plenty to do. Kids have full run and can crawl on everything. You can go inside the ships from end to end. No charge.

This park is a good overnight spot for I-80 travelers. Check in was courteous if a bit heavy on rules reminders. Playground/general areas need work but this is very early in the season. Entrance road rather bumpy...I guess this helps enforcement of the 5mph rule which I was reminded of during check in. Office has food service and a full bar in addition to the usual store items. Site was a pull thru of very good length, pretty easy in and out if you pay due attention to some trees. Utilities were all fine including wifi. Bathrooms were clean but showers could benefit from an upgrade. I would not hesitate to stay here again if passing thru the area. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I was very impressed once I got through the entrance road which was pot-holed and extremely un-level. We sideswiped tree limbs coming in as a truck was coming out. The park is very well maintained, gravel roads and sites, large and basically level pull thrus with grass strips in between sites with a picnic table. We were in site 35 and satellite reception was not a problem. There are a lot of rules so make sure you adhere to them. We would stop here again if ever in the area. Long gravel pull thru for 45 foot coach and towed SUV. Strong 50 amp., water pressure was low, ample space with grass between sites with picnic table. Easy in and out. WiFi was sporadic, no cable but our site was open to the south for satellite. We had a medical emergency and had to extend without a reservation. Management was very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you ever need a hospital in this area I can't say enough about Bryon Medical East. From ER to surgery, to discharge it was handled with the best Doctors, nurses, lab techs and more. We are full timers and this incident which could have been a disaster was made so much better by everyone we encountered.

Camping here at Pine Grove RV Park here in Greenwood, NE, a short distance from Omaha and Lincoln. Lots to see here. Campground is very nice. Plenty of space for my 40' Class A and my 18' trailer still attached. FHU, 30/50A, pull thru, gravel sites with a picnic table (and some sites have a fire pit). Grass patios separate neighbor sites with plenty of space between sites. Park provides Good Sam, FMCA and military discounts, and added my Good Sam and a military discount for a total of 30% off daily rate. Next to I-80, but I didn't hear much of that noise! Park is owned by a former Marine and the park is proud of any military service reflected in the many US flags surrounding the park!! Great parks for kids too with several playgrounds, an outdoor pool, with shuffle board and pickle/paddle court too. Easy check in and easy navigation around the park. I would certainly stay here again when in the area. We camped at Pine Grove RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lincoln is about 20 miles and Omaha is about 30 on I-80. Lots to see and do! Go to the farmer's market on Lincoln on Saturday from 8:00 am to noon. Purchases need to be made before noon because right at noon is when vendors begin closing down. They are not permitted to sell any more merchandise after noon for some tax issue!! Saw something I liked at noon plus 3 minutes and the vendor apologized informing me that he couldn't sell anything after noon.
