When we made our reservation, we asked for a SAT TV friendly site. When we checked in, the lady at the desk (who was very nice) had no idea about tree cover or SAT TV suitability. You guessed it...the site, though nice, was not SAT TV friendly. The advertised "free wifi" was unusable most of the time. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice KOA. But I think if you advertise an amenity, you should deliver. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Came in tired, so was good to have an easy check-in, and to also be able to order Hot Breadsticks/Marinara snack from Pizza corner of Office, and due to the fact that we had made reservations in March, we received the standard rate, not the higher rate for special event times. Overall a very nice place to stay with guidance to our site and easy hookup as did not unhook our tow vehicle for overnighter. Overall a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay here again - but will check on "special events" going on in the area as this does have a tendency to rain prices for all places. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Can't really speak for places to see & do as we were there for an overnight stay. But was fairly quiet even with lots of activity going on with 'bike' rentals, etc. and families spending Father's Day together. There is a coffee in the office for those wishing a cup of coffee, snacks available to buy, etc.

We stayed just overnight. It was a very expensive and very average KOA. Internal roads and sites are gravel. The entrance is a very tight turn that needs to be navigated slowly. We were escorted to our site. The spaces are tightly packed and the campground as a whole is laid out poorly. It's like they tried to fit a site anywhere they could which resulted in a disorganized and haphazard layout. There are quite a few longterm residents who will walk right through campsites to walk their dogs or to get to the road and it doesn't matter if you're sitting outside on your patio eating dinner. Each site has a paved patio with patio table and chairs. The hookups are in the back and water pressure is fairly strong. The Wi-Fi antenna was right next to our site so our signal was pretty strong. Cable was good. The off-leash dog park was at the entrance along with the playground, pool, and jumping pillow for the kids so it got quite noisy and busy there with motorhomes checking in and kids running around in the same place. Expensive for an overnight and the park was just way too packed to be comfortable. Won't be coming back to this one. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Where do I start??? Heavy rain when we arrived but entrance is a nightmare with traffic driving 60 MPH for a left hook turn with oncoming traffic coming over hill. Almost got broadsided. Large potholes on driveway and gray mud. Our site was a deluxe pull thru but again needing a lot of rock which was stockpiled away but not used. Park attendant said it rains in Nebraska. We stayed 4 long nights and were very anxious to leave. This only reinforces my staying away from KOA's! My opinion, a dump! We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

I normally avoid KOA's, but I was tired and this was the only place for miles. Check in personnel were very nice. Price I am showing is non-discounted price before taxes. This KOA does not give any discounts other than KOA, and I'm not a member. I was given a pull-through even though there are back-ins. I don't know if there is a difference in price, but it appeared all the back-ins were taken. It also appeared I got a "higher end" pull-through because the spaces in my area had some grass between the spaces, a nice deck, and a wrought iron table and four chairs instead of a picnic table. The shorter pull-throughs had no grass and had just a picnic table. I don't know if there is a difference in price for these. Even though there was some grass between the sites in my section, the spacing was still a bit cozy for me. Interesting thing on garbage. You just leave your garbage sack at your site and it gets picked up. Laundry was $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry, but the drying is 30 minutes. I didn't use the laundry so I cannot comment whether 30 minutes is enough for drying. The laundry room also had some nice deep sinks. I'm giving an 8 for the section I was in, but if I had been in a different section, I'd give it a 7. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

If you don't want to be on a junk mail list, you are not required to provide a street address to a KOA. Just provide a zip code.

This was a very nice clean place with lots of trees. "Pride of ownership" with friendly and helpful staff. They offer for a fee to make and deliver pizza to your campsite. We only stayed one night, but this would have been a very pleasant place to say a few days. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We spent three nights here last week. Clean, easy to find off Interstate, contrary to previous reviewer. Trash pickup at your site. Bounce pad and zip line for kids, clean dog run, wonderful staff/service, pizza delivered to door. Just too cramped for higher rating. Had to back truck out of a road as camper was located at the end of it. Huge outlet mall, McDs and gas half mile away but little else nearby. $35 1st night, $40 Labor Day rate. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Crowded older park, narrow roads, probably built before big rigs. Once into a deluxe site it was easy to level and plenty of room to put out awnings and sit on the cement patio. WiFi speed was at a snails pace but Verizon signal strong for hot spot. Very pricey for what you get. Friendly staff and escort to site. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here many times as it's the only game in town but we feel this campground needs to improve. The entrance is a very tight 180 off of a busy road and it dips down and is gravel and mud going into the CG. Interior roads are poor and we had heavy rain with which the CG has inadequate drainage. Runoff caused heavy erosion on the narrow interior roads. Until the roads are improved we will not stay here again regardless of convenience of location. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

This KOA is pricey. However if you take a cheap spot, they are very close together. We paid for the deluxe spot and got a nice one which had a lot of room. However not all the spots have much room. The people are very friendly and escort you to the spot. However the interior roads are very narrow and it's difficult to get around even in just a car. The cable TV is terrible - all snowy. The Wi-Fi was slow. It is 22 miles outside of Omaha. It's difficult to find from the freeway. There are signs but they are small and easy to miss. There is a nice dog park and children's playground but they are in the front of the park and most of the RVs are in the back sections. So they're not very convenient. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

We used this for an over night as we traveled from Denver to the Midwest. As we generally find for over nights on the road; near the hi-way is most important. Like most KOA's the spaces are tight but the park was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, we would only stop here again if we were in need of an overnight stop. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small park for a KOA. Sites are very very close together. We only had water and electric. Used the public washrooms and they were immaculate. Kudos to the cleaning staff. Kudos to all the staff. They are very courteous and friendly. I would have given this Park a higher rating except for the fact that they advertise "Free WiFi" and that isn't quite accurate. It is free but most of the time non-existent. Tengo Internet. Says it all. Beware any Park with Tengo Internet and more so if you have to pay for it. It rarely works. I would look around before staying here again. We moved on to Valentine, NE to a small nondescript Park where the Internet was perfect for the four days we stayed there. What is wrong with this picture? Why can't a Park near a large City like Omaha have decent Wi-Fi? Tengo should hang their heads in shame. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Sites way too close together, very difficult getting level, Tengo Internet just fair. Cable TV, very poor signal all channels. Easy access to Dish satellite svc. More spacious sites = $45-$50/night. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Deluxe site #77. You really need a sense of humor to call this site deluxe! Site is very unlevel - beyond the reach of my jacks to level it. Extension is needed to reach electrical box. Fire pit on patio is 3 feet from the front door of the RV on a block deck. Sites are very close together. Not paved and not seen any new gravel in many years. I was escorted to my site. I am looking forward to leaving this park and never returning. Beware high water pressure. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

This clean KOA is very pricey and the sites are fairly close together. The WiFi works great and the restrooms are neat and clean. All utilities function correctly. Our dogs liked the spacious dog run. A decent park for a metro area. We would stay here again. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.
