Very pleasant place to stay while visiting Omaha for relative's wedding. I've stayed here many times in the past and have always been pleased with the facility and staff. I highly recommend this campground to my friends and family. My grand kids loved the KOA campground. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice park: Flat, level gravel pull through site that was just long enough so I did not have to unhook my truck from my trailer. Site had wooden deck with a nice wooden picnic table. There was also a BBQ and fire pit on the site. Spots are close together, we were led to our spot by a KOA staff member which made maneuvering into the site very easy. It feels if you are in the country, but you can definitely hear the freeway. The swimming pool was clean and pleasant. We ordered a pizza from the office, that was delivered to our site. The pizza was excellent and the price was reasonable. The campground is full of mature trees. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Quiet and out in the country. Sites are a little close together; meaning your neighbors' dump hose runs 2 feet from your picnic table. There was one issue where a visitor parked his car in the entry lane, and campground staff went to great lengths to track down the owner and get the car moved. Park has a nice playground for the kids with one of those inflatable bounce pillows. Camp store is well stocked. There is a breakfast buffet, but we needed to be on the road early and didn't look into this. Dinner & snacks are available at the camp store, there is some delivery options that will bring it right to your site. Some fast food options and a Pilot/Flying J at the nearest I-80 exit. Walmart is about a mile east on I-80. Very isolated, and very quiet. We were there for one night, most of the others seem to be spending a week there for vacation. It is Nebraska, and can be windy at times. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a large outlet mall at the Gretna I-80 exit. This looked crowded and difficult to get into with a trailer, so we didn't bother, but if outlets are your thing, you won't want to miss it.

We stayed one night at this KOA, arriving after dark. The park entrance is very poorly lit and somewhat deceptive. The driveway is not at the KOA sign, you have to go past the sign and find the driveway entrance in the dark with oncoming traffic that is going 60 mph. The entrance involves a sharp, almost U-turn into the driveway and back-tracking to the office.

You can pull up to either side of the office building to check in...it's easier to get into the interior with roads if you pull up on the right side, especially with a larger vehicle.

This is an older campground, the interior roads are very narrow and the sites are very close and unlevel. There are concrete or wood patios/decks at many sites. You are really on top of your neighbors. There is little or no lighting on the roads or signs -- check the campground map very carefully before trying to find your site.

The campground has a nice pet walk area. Hookups worked fine and television reception was good.

Several other reviewers have mentioned the muddy conditions after rainfall. In dry weather, this campground is extremely dusty. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

When we made our reservation, we asked for a SAT TV friendly site. When we checked in, the lady at the desk (who was very nice) had no idea about tree cover or SAT TV suitability. You guessed it...the site, though nice, was not SAT TV friendly. The advertised "free wifi" was unusable most of the time. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice KOA. But I think if you advertise an amenity, you should deliver. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Our site was an electric and water site but we paid the regular price. The site was about 10' from the dusty entrance road and another 30' from the highway. Needless to say it was noisy. Other than that it's a typical KOA with too many kid things. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Came in tired, so was good to have an easy check-in, and to also be able to order Hot Breadsticks/Marinara snack from Pizza corner of Office, and due to the fact that we had made reservations in March, we received the standard rate, not the higher rate for special event times. Overall a very nice place to stay with guidance to our site and easy hookup as did not unhook our tow vehicle for overnighter. Overall a very nice place to stay and would definitely stay here again - but will check on "special events" going on in the area as this does have a tendency to rain prices for all places. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Can't really speak for places to see & do as we were there for an overnight stay. But was fairly quiet even with lots of activity going on with 'bike' rentals, etc. and families spending Father's Day together. There is a coffee in the office for those wishing a cup of coffee, snacks available to buy, etc.

ONLY stayed 3 nights due to the high cost and the only real RV park around Omaha (even though its 20-ish miles from Omaha). When we arrived the owners were yelling at each other across the office calling each other all kinds of names. We had an escort to our deluxe site (as we require full hookups and 50 amps, can't run on 1 a/c when it's this hot), roads are dusty , WiFi is weak and you can hear the freeway (I-80) all day and night long. (just over the fence). The dog park is nice but up near the entrance road. Facilities are clean, grounds are clean, unfortunately the owner's issue in the office really ruined the experience. I expect A LOT more from KOA-branded park. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed just overnight. It was a very expensive and very average KOA. Internal roads and sites are gravel. The entrance is a very tight turn that needs to be navigated slowly. We were escorted to our site. The spaces are tightly packed and the campground as a whole is laid out poorly. It's like they tried to fit a site anywhere they could which resulted in a disorganized and haphazard layout. There are quite a few longterm residents who will walk right through campsites to walk their dogs or to get to the road and it doesn't matter if you're sitting outside on your patio eating dinner. Each site has a paved patio with patio table and chairs. The hookups are in the back and water pressure is fairly strong. The Wi-Fi antenna was right next to our site so our signal was pretty strong. Cable was good. The off-leash dog park was at the entrance along with the playground, pool, and jumping pillow for the kids so it got quite noisy and busy there with motorhomes checking in and kids running around in the same place. Expensive for an overnight and the park was just way too packed to be comfortable. Won't be coming back to this one. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Where do I start??? Heavy rain when we arrived but entrance is a nightmare with traffic driving 60 MPH for a left hook turn with oncoming traffic coming over hill. Almost got broadsided. Large potholes on driveway and gray mud. Our site was a deluxe pull thru but again needing a lot of rock which was stockpiled away but not used. Park attendant said it rains in Nebraska. We stayed 4 long nights and were very anxious to leave. This only reinforces my staying away from KOA's! My opinion, a dump! We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

I normally avoid KOA's, but I was tired and this was the only place for miles. Check in personnel were very nice. Price I am showing is non-discounted price before taxes. This KOA does not give any discounts other than KOA, and I'm not a member. I was given a pull-through even though there are back-ins. I don't know if there is a difference in price, but it appeared all the back-ins were taken. It also appeared I got a "higher end" pull-through because the spaces in my area had some grass between the spaces, a nice deck, and a wrought iron table and four chairs instead of a picnic table. The shorter pull-throughs had no grass and had just a picnic table. I don't know if there is a difference in price for these. Even though there was some grass between the sites in my section, the spacing was still a bit cozy for me. Interesting thing on garbage. You just leave your garbage sack at your site and it gets picked up. Laundry was $1.50 to wash, $1.50 to dry, but the drying is 30 minutes. I didn't use the laundry so I cannot comment whether 30 minutes is enough for drying. The laundry room also had some nice deep sinks. I'm giving an 8 for the section I was in, but if I had been in a different section, I'd give it a 7. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice clean place with lots of trees. "Pride of ownership" with friendly and helpful staff. They offer for a fee to make and deliver pizza to your campsite. We spent three nights here last week. Clean, easy to find off Interstate, contrary to previous reviewer. Trash pickup at your site. Bounce pad and zip line for kids, clean dog run, wonderful staff/service, pizza delivered to door. Just too cramped for higher rating. Had to back truck out of a road as camper was located at the end of it. Huge outlet mall, McDs and gas half mile away but little else nearby. $35 1st night, $40 Labor Day rate. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Crowded older park, narrow roads, probably built before big rigs. Once into a deluxe site it was easy to level and plenty of room to put out awnings and sit on the cement patio. WiFi speed was at a snails pace but Verizon signal strong for hot spot. Very pricey for what you get. Friendly staff and escort to site. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here many times as it's the only game in town but we feel this campground needs to improve. The entrance is a very tight 180 off of a busy road and it dips down and is gravel and mud going into the CG. Interior roads are poor and we had heavy rain with which the CG has inadequate drainage. Runoff caused heavy erosion on the narrow interior roads. Until the roads are improved we will not stay here again regardless of convenience of location. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.
