As others have said the entrance into the park is basically like a U-turn. It is doable, but be sure to give yourself plenty of room to make the turn. As you come into the park, you can pull in on either side of the office. The site we were in was #72. It was just long enough for the motorhome with the towed parked off to the side. We disconnected the towed before being escorted to our site. All roads and sites are gravel and does make for a lot of dust when vehicles are passing by. It appeared that this site is a buddy site with #81 so if you have family you would like to share patio etc with, it would be perfect. When we arrived, the park was completely full and things seemed a little tight. The angle in which this site is situated meant that we were unable to get much relief from the sun on the curb side, even with our large awning extended. We weren't really able to enjoy the patio until after sunset or early morning. The site had paved patio with table & chairs and fire ring. We also stayed in a back-in site, #29. This is one of the improved sites that includes a deck with table and chairs and a paved stone fire pit. It was very nice and spacious. I would definitely choose #29 over #72. There is a dog park that was nice, but needed mowing. The swimming pool was clean and refreshing. There are many children in the park, so be on the lookout. Most of their activities take place toward the front of the park. All in all it's a nice park and they are working to make necessary improvements. We would stay here again if we are back in the Omaha area. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Tight in/tight out. This camp has been around before side outs were invented. The sites are very, very close with some hook-up that have to run under the RV to attach. Gravel, dirt sites, some have table. Large trees with large roots. Hard to park when sites are full. Expensive for what they have. On a positive note, they are making some of the sites wider and easier to get in/out. A below avg KOA. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

The entrance in is a hard turn but doable. They pack the rv's in here! My biggest complaint is the dusty roads. When we left everything was filthy. But as with most KOA's everything worked fine, we felt safe and the park is close to everything you need. Great bike trails along the river near downtown Omaha. We booked a "large deluxe" pull through for 1 night. First problem is the turn into the place. Almost impossible coming from Interstate 80. Way too tight. Our "deluxe" site was #77. Utilities so far forward we could hardly reach it without parking the car as far forward as possible. And we have a small 22ft trailer so that is ridiculous. Almost impossible to get the trailer level. 5 more LEGO blocks on the left compared with the right. Front to back level way off. Didn't want to unhook the car for just one night but the hitch almost pulled the car up before the trailer was level. Terrace completely broken up. Loose bricks and concrete edges are a big risk. You can easily break a leg with a simple misstep. Terrace chairs were rusty so we didn't want to use them but that left very little space for our own. In no way did the descriptions reflect the reality. Park was very crowded and rigs are too close to each other. If ours was deluxe I'd shudder to think what regular ones would be like. Tough to make the left turn out of our site when we left. Bathroom was clean, I'll say that but that's not sufficient reason to rate it any better than terrible. Not going back there not even for a single night. There is a for sale sign on the entrance board?? Are they planning to sell? Maybe that's the reason for the poor upkeep. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

The high pricing reflects the limited places to stay in the Omaha area. The entrance has been changed and is not where your GPS tells you... it is a sweeping 180* entrance onto a pothole dirt/gravel road. Our site row was staggered so you were not looking into your neighbors windows. We did have grass however it was extremely long. If you have children this would be the place to stay...play area looked fun! Good laundry room. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here 6 days while attending a medical study at the medical school. Sites at the front and back of the campground are mostly level, with those in the middle less so. Those to the rear tend to get noise from I-80, while those near the front get some noise from the main road. Trucks tend to start using the road around 5am. The staff is very attentive and welcoming. We arrived a day earlier than our reservation and they found us a site on a very busy weekend. The following day, the rig in our reserved site was having mechanical issues and the staff kept us informed of the status and worked hard to accommodate us. They have a fantastic playground for the children. Our four legged friends have a fenced area to run off-leash. Satellite reception is iffy in most sites due to the trees, however cable is quite good. Our site #31 had a break in the trees and we got good satellite reception. Would definitely stay here again. Only RV park in the area so they take advantage and are over priced, they stayed busy. We were packed in like sardines and our "pull through" site was in with a maze of other "pull throughs". It is an older Park with lots of long unmowed grass, grasshoppers, dusty roads and ungroomed Areas. On a positive note, they had clean restrooms, a nice playground for kids and a nice cabana for group gatherings. Sites had a nice table with four chairs, a nice fire ring and flowers. Office was so-so on friendliness. I hate to pay those kind of rates for a mediocre park. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The home-made pizza was very good, and you can't beat delivery to your camper door! However, the size description is misleading. Their "Large" pizza would be called medium everywhere else. Still a fair deal at the price, but we wish we had known, would have ordered 2.

Very old campground with huge trees throughout. Extremely poor entrance to the park with a steep and sharp incline. I'm always afraid my 5th wheel will come in contract with my pickup bed. Several RVs were long termers in this park. Excellent pizza though. A lot could be said about a power washer to clean off the dried bird droppings from the furniture and patio. The concrete slab was also covered with a thin coat of dirt. During out stay, our water supply was also being used to water some new sod, thereby reducing the already deficient water pressure. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

First Impression: Hairpin turn getting in. Access road has serious ruts and holes. Okay curbside appeal. CG is moderately wooded. Safety: no concerns - peaceful. Access: I-80, exit 432, north less than a mile, follow signs. GPS took us right in. Office: Friendly reception, nice store with snacks, souvenirs, RV equipment items. Homemade pizza (very good), "Mega S'mores" (addicting). Sodas, beer, and wine. Facilities: Pool, no spa, volleyball, mini-golf, horseshoes, etc. No fitness center. Small, clean laundry room. Restrooms/showers modern and very clean (score "A"). Propane for sale at $3.30/gallon. Big playground. Fenced dog run. Campground: Not in a flood plain. Roads are narrow, dirt/gravel with "ok" turns; no overhead obstacles. Big rig sites at the rear of the CG. Sites for transients are slide-to-slide, cramped, marginally level, pull-through, sparse gravel and dirt. Grass in between. Electric/water at rear of site with FHU-20/30; no meters. Low water pressure with "ok" taste. Sewer pipe is mid-rig, threaded, ranging from ground level to about 4" above ground level. Premier sites have wooden patios, longer with more space. Nice, plastic picnic tables. Open fires permitted in fire rings. Challenging satellite views. Free cable TV (36 channels) but reception "stutters". Free Tengonet Wi-Fi with excellent coverage and bandwidth. Verizon phone at 5-bars. No railroad, aircraft, or traffic noise. Limited recycle bins. Tent area and KOA cabins. Bug Report: small black ants but not around sites (late May). Runners: CG roads marginal for running, no fitness room so no treadmills. Yoga: no place to put your mat unless you get a patio. Conclusion: Acceptable for an overnight or two. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Just an overnight, so didn't use any amenities. Hookups good, cable included, WiFi actually reaches my site (about 6 spaces from office) and they say it will reach all the sites. Not far off the Interstate, so cell reception is good. These little things matter when traveling. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed during the off-season on our way back to Chicago from out west. We've stayed here a few times before in cabins but this was our first time in a regular RV site. No staff around when we were there so can't say anything really about service. It had rained earlier that day and our site was quite muddy. Proximity of this park is very close to I-80 and we were one of the closest sites to the highway but, even with the corn down, I didn't hear much traffic noise at all even though I could see it. A new outlet mall has sprung up at this exit since our last visit and there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. Gas is also convenient. There were a few other through-travelers like us and some seasonal folks around the night we were there. We didn't see any though-travelers but the seasonal folks were very friendly. Bathrooms are decent and decorated in wood--nice touch. Lots of hot water which is wonderful on a cold, rainy, muddy March day. We camped at West Omaha / NE Lincoln KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

If you need to gas up do it at this exit as you come off of I-80 and not when you're getting back on. When getting back on there a no-left-turn from the station so you'd need to go down to the light where they allow u-turns. It's tight there. After executing the u-turn and entering the highway I realized that the due to the tight turn, our electric cord came loose. Had to pull off the next exit and reconnect the cord.
