Additional 5% discount for cash/check. Staff was friendly, the CG busy, and full each night of our3 night stay. Gravel roads and sites, mostly level, utilities well located, picnic tables, most sites are drive-thru. Some perimeter sites are occupied by long term tenants but clean and neat. Lots of trees and room for patio stuff. Altho I-80 is nearby the road noise is not noticeable. Laundry with 5 sets of machines, $1.25 wash $1 dry. Coded access to restrooms and showers that are clean. This is a pleasant place to stay and we would return if in the area. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Take your pick. The Golden Spike Tower at Bailey Yard is awesome, largest train switching and repair facility in the world. Lots of historic sites to see in the area.

Entrance/exit easy, and wide interior dirt/gravel roads. Check-in was quick. Sites are long, with grass in-between. Right on freeway so some road noise, but not too bad. Dog walk right on busy street with no fencing, but walking dog around park is fine. All in all, nice park. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Bailey Train Yard is a MUST if you like trains, or want to learn about how trains are sorted.

Not bad but the sites and roads are in need of gravel as there is now more dirt than gravel. The WiFi worked great...sometimes, mostly not. The sewer connections are basically a large broken ceramic pipe hole in the ground which I had to drive over to get into the site, probably why it was covered with a heavy steel plate. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Family friendly atmosphere, gravel sites, easy in and out, separate shower rooms was nice, overall good visit for two-day stay. Towing small trailer so was able to fill up with gas at the Sinclair station on way to Interstate. Would definitely return if ever in the area again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Wild Bill Cody is North Platte's claim to fame .. do go to city park to see the statue, and carousel as well as Union Pacific display of steam engine.

Also the Ranch out by the rodeo grounds is nice to walk around without being charges, the house tour does have a fee attached.

I had a level (didn't have to unhook level) gravel site. Friendly check in. WiFi works great. A fair amount of standing water at some sites and sections of the drives. This is my 1st visit to this park. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was an overnight stop for us. Service was excellent and facilities were up to par, but nothing special. Grand kids thought the pool was too cold and liked the playground better. We would stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely park. Their trees were pretty, they were very nice people, and the restrooms were clean. The spaces were level and had a lot of room, and were long enough we could stay hooked on our trailer. We enjoyed it very much. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park to spend a few days in. North Platte is a nice little community, altho the choice for grocery stores left a lot to be desired. The laundry in the park is very clean and reasonably priced. The park is easy to access from I-80 and, even tho the freeway is close, the traffic noise is negligible. We have stayed here before and would recommend it to friends. The staff was helpful and the entire park is very neat and tidy. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We had a good meal at a restaurant very close by, Whiskey Creek. You can walk to it from the park.

Easy to get in and out of here. Nice folks greet you upon check-in. The sites are gravel/dirt as are the access roads. The trees on the property are very nice and offered nice shade when the sun shone. They also offered a nice buffer from the Interstate traffic noise. We were here during heavy rains that left the roads /sites with huge puddles. WiFi and Cable TV are good. Lot size is OK but somewhat close. We did not use any of the other amenities. Cost was high (14% sales tax added) compared to comparable parks we have stayed at. Could not put awnings out due to tree proximity but the wind blew too hard most of the time anyway. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Not a lot to do in North Platte, NE if you are here for 2 weeks. Buffalo Bill Cody Museum, the Lincoln County Museum/Canteen, the Golden Spike (very good), The Buffalo Bill Park, Ogallalla (Lake McGaughnahy and Boot Hill), Memorial Park, North Platte Mall. Walmart is only a 1.5 mile walk from the campground. Luigi's Restaurant makes an excellent pizza.

The park is ok for the week we stayed. Price reflects the weekly rate. The roads were rather muddy but the weather has been exceptionally wet. All hookups were adequate albeit rather old. We chose a 30 Amp site since we didn't need to use our air conditioners. Cable was good. WiFi was pretty good from site 66 better than most parks. WalMart is nearby. We would use this park again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Buffalo Bill Ranch was worth a visit.

Price was for site without water. Because of season, water had to be disconnected at night anyway. About half of sites were filled with long-term residents; most of the other were empty, again because of season. We were in N. Platte to visit the Golden Spike Tower in the course of a cross-country trip. Park was well-maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful. Site pads are graveled dirt but in good shape, with ample grass strips between sites and picnic tables. Appears geared to families with children - a lot of play equipment. provided. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Clean & quiet park. Check-in was easy and friendly. The clerk was able to change our site to a satellite-friendly one (I forgot to ask). There are many trees in the park so make sure you ask on check-in. It was close to I-80 but the noise was not a bother at all. There was a diner next door where we got our evening meal. I got good guy points for driving all day and "taking her out for dinner" but lost them all when I ran the kitchen faucet while she was in the shower... The site was level and the utilities were solid. I had to look closely at the layout before we left but it was simple. In the site we were located we had to turn right to turn left. We'll be back. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is easy on/off of I-80.It is an older park but well kept. The interior roads are gravel and our site was gravel, level, and shady. There are nice grassy areas around the sites with adequate space between. The laundry was clean and had more than a sufficient amount of machines at a very good price per load. The store had a magazine and small gift area as well as being well supplied with essentials. We had very good Wi-Fi and cell service. The campground is convenient to all attractions in the area, each being only 10-15 minutes away, and there are many major national retailers and fast food chains well-represented in town. We stayed here three nights in a 33' rig. The rate quoted reflects the Good Sam discount. An extra hint: Nearby Fort Cody is a great place to pick up souvenirs. They have a vast selection. Also, take a few minutes to visit the 20th Century War Memorial which is 5 minutes away on 83 South. It is most impressive. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate reflects 10% discount for Good Sam and 5% discount for cash, and paying for six nights with the seventh free. Not sure if previous reviewer was in the same park, but we had more than enough room between spaces. We had a very enjoyable week at this park. The spaces were very level with plenty of room. We have two slides and even put our awning out with no problem. Yes, there is noise from the traffic on I-80, but we had no problem with it. Laundry was very clean and very reasonable, $1.25 to wash and $1.00 for 45 min of drying. Washers and dryers worked well. They had a nice playground for the kids and a lovely pool, but being this late in the year, we did not take advantage of the pool. We were told, however that it is heated. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would suggest calling ahead and making reservations, as this seemed to be a very popular park. Very convenient to restaurants and shopping and all points of interest. We will stay here again, when in the area. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Good for an overnight. Being heavily treed was real nice for cutting down the heat and helps with the highway noise too. No table. Wi-Fi worked as expected and at no extra charge. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.
