Stayed here for one night while passing thru the area. Good clean park, professional staff. We had a 50A pull thru. It was level although a little short (but workable). Some trees but not all sites have shade. Utilities were good although internet was very slow for a while (got better, particularly in the morning). Note: we do have an antenna on the trailer. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is an excellent campground. Easy on/off from the freeway, level spots and close to town. The staff was friendly. We had no trouble with road noise and the wifi was excellent. What I liked were the huge, ancient trees throughout the park. Please stay at this park to keep the trees from being cut down. This is in a commercial area and, if the property isn't profitable, someone like Hilton is going to come in, cut down the trees and, in Joni Mitchell's words, put up a parking lot. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Check-in was quick and friendly. Our assigned site (#62) was in the middle of the park where wifi was nonexistent. We went back to the office and were given site 66 near the back of the park where the wifi was excellent. The campground roads are gravel and easy to navigate. Site consists of a gravel pad and grass for the sitting area with picnic table. Amenities include a small inground pool, playground and laundry facilities. There is also an area for dog walking at the front of the park along the road. The overnight spots are in the centre of the campground while the long term campers are on the outer edge. The only negative was that there was a lot of dogs barking during the day but by evening seemed to have quieted down. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

A good place for an overnight stay. Campground is easy on/off from I -80. There is highway noise, but not a problem inside camper. Our campsite was a level pull thru. Office stays open late, which was helpful to us on our arrival. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

A campground that would probably be a very pleasant stay except for the location - right next to an off-ramp from the interstate. The good news is there aren't a lot of trucks taking the ramp and using their jakes to slow down. It is however a pretty much constant flow of trucks (less on the overnight) and the corresponding noise is noticeable even in the back of the campground with the windows all closed. Asphalt entry road with a u-turn for those coming from the US 83 exit - big rigs will need the entire width to make the turn. Interior access roads and the sites are gravel. Access roads are just a bit over a single lane. Sites are somewhat close together and mostly level. Sites barely long enough for a 44' with toad (we had to disconnect, but only because we have an additional 4 ft or so off the back of the toad for a bike rack). Grass and a picnic table between the sites and lots of trees around the campground. Site selection is pretty much a free for all when arriving before 4pm so reserving a specific site (e.g. to ensure satellite access) is problematic. Depending upon the row, departure is either a straight shot back out to the main road or a return through the main entry road including the u-turn. Power ok, water low (40psi static, 30psi flowing), sewer not threaded (needs donut for seal). Campground wifi good signal and good speed (except of course in the early to mid-evening when it gets rather sluggish); Verizon 4 bars with good speed (again except for the evenings); no TMobile service. Satellite access is highly dependent upon the site. No recycling on site and no obvious road bike riding. We might stay here again, but would probably look for something further away from the highway unless it was just an overnight stop. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

We arrived after heavy rain so will allow for that but the park needs repair to stop the enormous puddles ruts and mud, we couldn't see what we were putting our trailer supports into. Restrooms and showers were very clean but old. We know a lot of Rvers like trees for shade but sometimes less is more ! Good cable TV. Wifi was a bit iffy. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

15% discount given for cash payment. Sites are gravel, level, with grass between sites. Most sites are pull throughs. Enough mature trees provide shade. Bathrooms/showers are older but in good repair and very clean. Shower stalls and dressing area are both tiny. They could combine the several of the multiple stalls so there would be more room. Two sewer hookups at each site so they are convenient for any rig. Other hookups were also good. Cable TV with 60 channels. Easy access to and from I-80. Some road noise, but not that noticeable after dark. Several restaurants on the access road to the park. Great place to stop if passing through. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed for 1 night in our 40' MH with tow car. Site was barely large enough to hold us. Sites are gravel with some bad grass and not very level. For an overnight stay this would work but would not spend more time. Wifi and cable worked fine. Easy access from freeway but you also hear some of the road noise. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Walmart and restaurants were less than a mile. World's largest rail yard was 6 miles and worth a visit. Fort Cody Trading Post was 5 minutes and free.

Nice shady park. Two playgrounds, one fenced next to pool. Plenty of trash containers sccattered thru park. Didn't allow Passport Am on weekends or would have rated higher. Pull thru sites long to accommodate tow. Some grass around gravel site. Well kept grounds. Would return. Easy on/off. Exit 177 from I-80. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

The first thing we noticed were the GREAT signs. Large signs with arrows so you knew exactly where to turn and go in. Some parks it's a guessing game as to where you're supposed to pull in, especially at night. The park had quite a few trees, and the roads were dirt, in good condition, and easily maneuverable with a 36' DP motorhome. Sites were on gravel, kind of narrow, and had a significant amount of grass (important if you have dogs). Power connection was 50/30/20 and the power pole & sockets were in good condition. Water & sewer connections were fine, as was the water pressure, and the sewer connection point was at ground level (nothing worse than a sewer pipe that's 8 inches above ground!). The WiFi connection was good, and the internet bandwidth was decent. We don't use restrooms, showers or pools, so we can't render an opinion on those items. There wasn't a dog park for our 4 footed friends (we travel with 3 golden retrievers). Thery did have a nice camp store with food and camping items. They did a great job of providing standard 55-gallon drum sized trash bins every third campsite. The price was reasonable for the services received. We did not notice significant road noise from the nearby interstate, but noise like that doesn't bother us anyway. We would rate this park an 8.3 out of 10. We stayed in a motorhome and would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Motorhome.

Campground is clean, plenty of trash cans. I used the laundry facilities and they were in good working order. Restrooms are old, but clean. The swimming pool looked very clean, although we didn't use it. Sure was nice, we were lucky with the tree on our space as it gave us afternoon shade since we faced West.
