This is a great RV park, located about 1/2 mile off I-80 at exit 177. We were going to stay one night, but it was such a nice experience that we decided to stay three nights. The sites are long and level with gravel/dirt and shade trees. The staff is very helpful and attentive to the needs of the guests. We would stay ay this peaceful property again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

This park is a gem. The people in the office were friendly, and one even came to our site to show us how the cable worked - you are issued a remote at check-in to use on your TVs during your stay. Our site was almost level, and had nice shade at the back of the very long pull-through. The park just seems serene as you pull in. All grassy areas were mowed, and trees near sites were trimmed to avoid interference with slides/awnings. Sites in our area were wide, and there was a nice grass buffer between sites. There was a picnic table in very good condition. Park was very quiet during our stay, with the exception of park residents using the empty site next to us as an entrance/exit to an area of the park, rather than drive the road around to their site. Utilities worked well during our stay; however, wi-fi was sometimes iffy. We did not check out shower/bathroom facilities, so cannot comment on them. They do have a laundry and a book exchange. I would have rated 10 if the wifi had been more reliable and there was a "no driving through sites" rule. In spite of those issues, we loved this park and will choose it again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Well deserving of its good rating. Very easy access to and in the park with our extra large 40'+ Big Rig RV. Close to the interstate but no traffic noise. Full hookups, long level pull-through sites, and friendly / helpful staff all for a reasonable price. This is a winner and we will stay again every time we pass through the area. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We frequent this campground quite often as we have family in the area. Our stay may be for two nights to up to a week. We like returning because it is maintained with onsite hosts. The campground has all the amenities - laundry, shower facilities, pool, and a camp store with the essential needs. Minimal highway/interstate traffic noise. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Shopping is nearby with both a WalMart and Shopko at the I-80 off ramp. A Safeway grocery store is located in the town of Ogallala.

This is the second time we have stayed at this campsite, and it was as good as the last time. The owner was very helpful, escorting us to the site and making sure we were happy. The guy has his own chickens so we were able to buy lovely fresh eggs and some produce from his garden. The campsite is easy to get to from the 1 - 80 and very quiet. We will definately stay here again. We were in a 43 ft 5th wheel. There is cheap diesel fuel nearby at Walmart and Conoco. We only stayed one night but figure there are a lot of interesting spots nearby - Boot Hill etc. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The nearby Wallmart and Conoco have reasonably priced diesel. The owner keeps his own chickens so has fresh eggs available.

This was our first time at this park. The sites are level gravel and too narrow for me for a long stay. The staff is friendly. The laundry room is very old and housed two washing/dryer machines. We did not use the Wi-Fi or the cable. Side note: they give you a remote for the their cable. Satellite works good, along with the cell phone. The park is mostly used as a over night stop. We would stay here again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

We've been driving across country and needed a site for the night. We were able to get a nice pull through site about 60 feet long. The couple that work here are very nice. We were shown to our site and they checked back to see if everything worked okay. We used the laundry and it was squeaky clean. We would defintly stay here again of we are in the area. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Try the Front Street Steakhouse in town.

We had a short lay-over in this campground while returning to our home in the East. We wanted a rest day so stayed for two nights. The CG is easy on and off the highway. The host staff were very friendly and helpful and escorted us to our site and helped to get us situated. Internal roads and sites are gravel, level, with a comfortable amount of grassed space between sites. They have some really long sites making it easy to get it parked, and get out without taking off the car. We drive a 44 ft MH and tow the car. Wifi was a bit slow but the cell service was good. They had just installed new cable equipment and the cable worked well, after the host helped us get it correctly synched. It was surprisingly quiet given it's location to the highway. Trains do travel through the area and we heard their horns now and then but it did not disturb our sleep - we had to use the furnace anyway because of the temperature. They don't really have a designated dog area but there is grass around the park which makes a nice walk with the dog. We would stay here again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Walmart and restaurants close by if supplies are needed.

Very nice campground on the south edge of town along Nebraska 61 from I-80. All states are pull throughs and are wide enough and long. Electric, w-fi and cable outstanding. Within walking distance of Shopco and Walmart (.5 mile). We camped here in a motorhome and would definitely stay again if in the area. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. This is a very pleasant park for a night's stay on a long trip. It is far enough off the highway to minimize noise but easy on/easy off. The staff was friendly and helpful - even led me to the site and gave me the high sign when I was opposite the hook-ups - nice when you travel alone, and the site is 100' long, gravel mixed with sand. Nice shade at my site but satellite friendly. I didn't use Internet or facilities so cannot report on that. I definitely will have this on my repeat list as I travel back and forth through this area fairly often. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a good place for a overnight stop. Easy on/off the interstate. You can see it from the campground but cannot hear any road noise. Long pull thrus with well placed utilities. Some sites have shade and for those who use a rooftop satellite, there are wide open sites. Trees are trimmed and cause no issues. Did not use bathhouse or laundry. Verizon cell and mifi worked fine. Staff was very friendly. We would stop here again if in the area. We camped at Country View Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Great choice for an overnight when traveling on I-80. Far enough off interstate to minimize traffic noise. Very helpful and friendly staff. Level sites, convenient utilities. Wi-Fi was fine. Cable TV a plus. Restrooms could use updating. Sites basic and close together, but this wasn't a problem for us because park wasn't at all crowded midweek. Very quiet! We would stay again. We camped at Country View Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Excellent park. Easy access from highway, but about a half mile from I-80 so no noise. Sites are long and plenty wide. Utilities good. Cable TV and wi-fi good. Good satellite TV access. Parking sites are dirt. If concrete, this would be a 10. We camped at Country View Campground in a Motorhome.
