Owner met us right away at self registration and directed us to a site to fit our double tow 70' unit. We saw about 1/2 of the sites were as long and accommodating. All we saw were side be side sharing utilities but quite roomy, so no slide or awning issues I could see.

Interesting, they have a rate structure that is very reasonable to larger than 18' units. Very good wifi free from several antennas. Maintenance, safety, access, utilities, facilities were well kept. Train & highway traffic noise noticeable, but not an issue. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Mexican restaurant within walking distance is quite good and reasonable.

The new owners are bending over backward to make this a nice place to stay. Lots of fresh paint and new gravel make this a good along the way stop. Passport America makes it one of the best values you can find. I would stop here again. I might even consider this a destination some time just because the people are so friendly.

Watch out for the drainage ditch at the entrance it will rock and roll your rig if you don't approach it straight on. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

Great little park, ez in and out, owners were so helpful. Park was clean, power and utility was prefect for our 40' 5th wheel with 3 slides, plenty of room. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Fuel, eating places walking distance.

The rate reflects Passport America discount. We stopped here for a few days after two overnighters. The owners are very nice. This campground is right next to the highway so there is some road noise but not enough to bother us. The site was big enough to fit our 36' Class C and our SUV toad. Sites are gravel, and ours was perfectly level. Restrooms/showers and laundry were clean, and the laundry is the cheapest we've seen in our 2+ years on the road. They have a very nice "parlor" with books, puzzles, videos, etc. We liked this campground and would definitely stop here again. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Kenfield Petrified Wood Gallery at 418 E. 1st Street is a must see. Boot Hill (W. 10th St. & Parkhill Dr.) is interesting. A water tower painted like a UFO with an alien peeking out is around the corner from the campground. And the Little Church of Keystone is worth the ride, but you have to call Barbara (308-726-2006) or Kathy (308-726-2482) if you want to go inside.

Long, level spots with good access. WiFi was good. Interstate noise was expected since it is right off of I-80. Good overnight spot for western Nebraska. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

What a great campground. The new owners are really taking care of the place. The staff were exceedingly helpful. They guide you to your site even though the place is small. The WiFi was the strongest we've had all year. The sites are gravel and there isn't a lot of shade. The interstate is nearby so there is some noise. Nice lending library. Nice laundry. The place is well maintained and beautiful (although not wooded at all). We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

This park has received many improvements by the new owners in the past 3 years.

Excellent stopover in western Nebraska. Some noise from the highway and trains but we did not find it objectionally loud.

We will stay here again when in the area. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Tent Trailer.

Stayed here two nights. Park is nice, not really a destination park but an overnight stay park. Owners friendly. We would stay here again. Just off the interstate some road noise. Not much shade, gravel spots with picnic tables. Wifi ok, has laundry room close to shopping. We would stay here again. Water pressure strong. Good value with discount. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The petrified wood museum is a nice place to visit.

We enjoyed our stay here host were very nice snd helpful stayed 2 nights and would definitely stay again if we are in the area. The sites were level and the restrooms and showers were excellent. The park was close to attractions and was easy on and off the interstate. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

It was close to several attractions. We visited old fort museums, drove to North Plate and toured Scouts Ranch - Buffalo Bills place. We had a great time staying in this park.

Very friendly people, clean park plenty of room getting in and out. Close to highway so noisy but the park and friendliness of owners make up for that, also a good price with passport america. A good one night stopping place. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

The weather was awful & I needed to get off the highway. Lori & Dave make you feel right at home. Super clean, lots of eating places around & Walmart is right up the road. Will come back next year. We camped at Sleepy Sunflower RV Park (formerly Open Corral Campground) in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Great Mexican restaurant nearby plus walmart.

Everything about this park deserves the highest possible rating! Clean, warm and friendly hosts! Very accommodating and genuinely nice people. WiFi was excellent. No OTA television, with the exception of three PBS channels, but that was more than made up for by the positives! Would stay again if in the area!
