This is a filthy dump with no attention from management. They exist only because of Ole's,; a very good restaurant. They advertise 50Amp but don't have it. Under any type of management, this could be a beautiful small park looking out on a small lake with nice birds of many types. At this time it is a filthy, trash everywhere, nasty uneven gravel sited DUMP!!!! Put your blinds down and go to Ole's for a great meal. You get what you pay for. This is an inexpensive overnight place to park if you do not expect much. The trash can receptacles were overflowing. We were told all sites were 50 amp, however we tried two different locations and never received more than 30 amps. We had been on the road 9 hrs or we would have gone elsewhere. This park is intended for self-contained units only, as there are no facilities. The RV park is off to side of the Shell gas station. This is not a destination park but instead is a place to spend the night or two with 50-amp full hook-ups. There is some road noise and noise from the gas station beside the park but we did not find this a problem. Sites are gravel, close to level with sufficient grass areas commensurate with short stay plans. Internet: Our Verizon phones worked but only with 2 bars. The broadband card was weak and only able to check messages. Likely with an antenna booster you would be able to function well. Concerns: No real concerns if you recognize this park for its intended purpose. The cost, shown with tax, is reasonable for full hookups and strong power and 50# water pressure. Would stay here again if passing through the area. We camped at Ole's Lodge Days Inn RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

I can no longer recommend this RV stop for the following reasons. First, in the past two years there has been a 33% increase in fees, $20 from $15. There has not been an equal increase in quality. Trash receptacles were overflowing and trash had blown everywhere. Dog crap was not policed up. When I went to disconnect in the morning, the park sewer had overflowed and of course I had to walk into it to find this out. So much for dry tennis shoes! That aside, the park has okay cable, 50 amp electric and convenient pull-thru's. Road noise is not noticeable. There are better values along I-80, with better kept facilities, just look a little! Date of Stay: June, 2007 - $17.00
I pretty much agree with the previous review. It is a convenient overnight park with few amenities. There are no showers or restrooms. Sites are long level gravel/dirt pull thrus, but rather narrow. Our motor home is 39 foot and we had no problems getting in and out. The park has several seasonal residents. We would stay there again. Bottom Line Up Front - We’d stay here again and recommend the Park to others. We spent one night at this Park as we were traveling through Nebraska. This Park is part of a Days Inn and Shell service station located along I-80 at exit 145 near Paxton, NE. To register just go to the Days Inn registration desk. There are 12 sites with full hook-ups. To me, the campground is an in-transit type or construction worker campground. All sites are pull-thru and long enough such that you won't have to unhook your rig. CATV, phone service and WiFi are included at no cost. Sites are level and have grass along each side and good picnic tables. Price per night is $15. There’s nothing special about the Park. It’s situated along a small stocked pond that you can actually fish in. The interstate is far enough away so that you don’t hear the road noise, but, you will hear an occasional train. It’s open all year and is perfect for the traveler scooting across the country. Easy in and easy out. Good bang for the buck!
