If you own a Blue Ox Product your stay here is FREE. I highly recommend this camp even if you are not a Blue Ox owner - take a tour of the plant and you may become an owner - it is a great product!

The park is well laid out - the first 5 sites have concrete pads; the rest are gravel. Well maintained and the interior roads are wide and easy to negotiate.

Remember though, this is an RV park primarily set up for Blue Ox owners (and maybe Blue Ox Owner rallies) Still if you need a place to stay overnight (or 2-3 nights while you explore the area), we highly recommend this RV park We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Pender and nearby West Point have some great restaurants (try the Hole in the Wall in West Point!) If you Geocache, Pender has a very special Honor Cache and the town is home to Maj Dale Buis, the first American KIA in the Vietnam War; the town has a very nice Veterans Memorial.

How can you argue with FREE??? That is, if you are a Blue Ox customer. I had to put in $1.00 since the review website won't accept a 0. We came here to have our tow bar serviced. (it has over 100,000 miles on it!) All of the sites are gravel or concrete back ins or pull ins but other than that, it's hard to beat. There's not a lot to do in Pender but the park is clean, well laid out and easy to get into and out of. Blue Ox will come right to your motorhome and do the service on your bar for a very nominal fee. Great service from a very customer oriented company. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Blue Ox has a factory tour that is worth the time to see. Check for other events in the area as this part of the country often has festivals, car shows and fairs to attend.

Excellent facility and free if you are here for service on a Blue Ox product. My site was concrete, but some sites were gravel. Very spacious and we'll maintained grounds. Not a location as a destination, unless you need service though. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

If you are having your Blue Ox equipment serviced you stay for free otherwise it is $30. This is a kind of isolated place, but is a wonderful park. As the others have stated you have to pull in and back out, Few of the spaces have full hook ups on pavement, other spaces are hard-packed stone. Some spaces have a picnic table and a small patio area. It is very quiet, bring something to read or craft. Decent Antenna reception. The town is close with a few places to eat, not much else. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Black Island Wildlife Management Area is approx. 15 miles away. Down a gravel path then a deeply rutted road. No signs until you reach the parking area. If you have 4wd its a great place to visit. Along the river. Take bug spray and check for ticks afterwards, we found a few. The trails are not very defined. Worth the effort.

Quite surprised in a good way. All sites are back in. A few are concrete. All are well sized, wide and deep. Lush grass. Very quiet. No host. Good water pressure and decent antenna tv. Weak Wi-Fi. Lots of room to run the dogs off leash since the park was nearly empty, but please make sure yours are under voice control and you pick up after them. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We arrived a day early for our Blue Ox Service not the tow bars. I might trade mine in and get a new one too. They have that program as well as making weight distributing hitches. I had my 50 amp full hookup spot with a twist in that it was a pull in not pull thru or back in. As such, I looked at a nice garden and wonderful free grass. It is very quiet here and the fact that you are having your tow bar serviced means you stay here for free. It is 30 dollars a night but I will say that Pender is not a great 'must see' destination otherwise. I had to put in one dollar as the system would not let me put in free. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There was a nice bar and grill that had good food in West Pointe. It is about 20 miles away but it was worth the drive. It is JDs and on the left but the sign is facing the wrong way as you arrive from Pender. Also, when you come here the GPS will route you to turn on Mill street and you will see the factory but go past Mill Street a bit and that is the entrance to the campground.

Stopped in here to get our Blue Ox hitch worked on. We had 50 amp power, 80 psi water, and sewer for no charge! The only negative is that there isn't much entertainment in Pender. We only stayed here for one night. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

We were very happy with the RV Park. The park was laid out perfect for big rigs. Stayed here to have work done on tow package. Blue Ox employees come out to your site and assess the service needed. The grounds are kept clean and landscaped beautifully. Shade trees are small and healthy for the future. The town of Pender is small and there is nothing to do but to visit Blue Ox Factory. There is no charge for Blue Ox customers. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Blue Ox RV Park is available without charge for customers having work completed. Full hookups with 50 amp electric. If a customer is not having work completed, the cost is $15 nightly. The electric, water, and sewer connections are excellent. Sites are level gravel and some concrete slabs. No low hanging branches. There aren't any community facilities available. Wi-Fi is not accessible at the far end of the park. Nicely manicured, well spaced sites. Sites are both pull-in and back-in. The staff are excellent. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

This campground is at the Blue Ox factory. Interestingly, all spots are pull-in, not back-in to make it easier to work on your tow-bar. Very nice campground, well maintained, concrete pads, nice plantings. However, as others have said, this is not a destination campground, it is for factory tours or tow-bar problems. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

A very small clean park that is right next to the Blue OX factory. It has full hook-ups and 50 AMP service. It is a near a very small town of Pender and there is not much to do in the immediate area. We stayed here for free because we were having some work done by Blue OX. They manufacture tow products for motorhomes and fifth wheels. We would stay here again if were in the area but it isn't really a destination stop. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not sure of rate. They comp you if you're having work done on your Blue Ox equipment. Small campground in quiet, rural area. Good FHU, plenty of elbow room. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here multiple times ... big drive in or back in sites (no pull throughs). You need to call ahead to make a reservation. Verizon cell phones and air card work great. There are no restrooms so only self contained units. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

Free overnight stay is allowed at this park just north of the offices while having work on Blue Ox tow equipment. No restrooms or amenities to speak of, but they will reserve a spot and come out and inspect your equipment on site. The sites are clean, mostly gravel, (although two were concrete), wide and grassy, with full hook ups which are situated for front in motor homes. Very quiet setting with maturing trees and a convenient trash receptacle. Not many restaurants to choose from in town, so be prepared. Verizon signal and satellite are good. We appreciated the hospitality and would definitely stay again. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here to have some work done on our tow car baseplate. It's free to Blue Ox customers having work done. It's $15 per night otherwise. Sites are gravel and level. There are no showers or restrooms. Over the air TV reception is non-existent. Verizon cell and broadband service works, and they do have free Wi-Fi, although it's a little weak in the campground. It's hard to imagine staying here again since it's so far off the beaten path, but we would do so if in the area. We camped at Blue Ox RV Park in a Motorhome.
