The campground is on the far northeast of the State Fairgrounds. It is fenced, and gates are opened during events. It's about a half mile walk to the livestock buildings. The campground is basically a gravel lot with one-lane asphalt streets, 40' poured concrete pads on narrow sites. Parking a 40' motorhome would be very difficult for me if there weren't an empty space next to me or across the street. Our neighbor's awning was less than 4" from our slide out. With slides out on the MH, there was not enough room to park a car on the site. Bathrooms/showers are new and clean and double as a storm shelter. There is Wi-Fi in the park, but it was not turned on the week we were there. The weeds needed mowing or spraying and were 6-18" tall on our site. For a State Fairground, it's pretty nice. Too bad they crammed everything so close together and don't tend to the weeds. Trains roll through town about every 20 minutes day and night, horns blaring. There is an outdoor waterpark a half mile away. - 42lena

This is a very nice family park. There are a lot of things to do from fishing, swimming with a sandy beach to lay out on, hiking and playgrounds for the kids. There are also horse trails to ride on too. This park has lots of water to choose from as well. There are 7 ponds to fish in and the ponds are so clear you can see the bottom! The park is located between the wood river and Platte river. We as a family floated the Platte river in the past and the kids loved it! There is also a tornado shelter here and sirens to notify the park visitors and campers, which is a plus in my book since its in Nebraska and you never know what the weather will do. The park also sells ice, pop and snacks and worms for fishing. Nice little park for the area! - staceyw
Sep 2018 - $20.00
Very quiet, clean and well maintained Park. The Host met us at the entrance and explained the rules and handed a written copy. The pull trough was long enough for both our motor home and trailer. Many walking and bike paths great for walking Dogs. - HelmsMT
Jul 2017 - $20.00
The RV Park is small but very well kept. I would have rated it 10 except it is electric only. It was quiet and is a very nice Park to stay in. All the sites are concrete. There are only a few pull-through sites. We would stay again if ever in the area. The sites are huge. - RayW
Jul 2016 - $20.00
We stayed for 2 nights in this absolutley lovely park. We will return if ever in the area. Large spacious lots, mature trees, walking trail, fitness stations, wild turkeys and other wildlife, all contributed to a very nice stay. Restrooms were acceptable. 3 stalls and 2 shower stalls with curtain. I didn't use, my husband said they were fine. No alcohol is allowed (outdoors, I guess, maybe just a guidleine to prevent excessive) so there were no parties going on. It was very quiet. You really feel like you are miles from a city, but everything is very close. - Jo and Bob
Jun 2010 - $19.00
Will not say here again. The rates have been raised, the electricity is bad. And there's no breakfast. Pass it up. - NE Travelers
Jun 2007 - $12.00
This park is located on Highway 12 on the south side of town. The price also includes breakfast which was good. All of the sites are back ins on a gravel lot behind the motel with a small park behind it. It is good place to overnight in or stay while visiting the area. - NE Travelers
