1 Park near Sidney, Nebraska
Aug 2016 - $31.00
Most unique RV Park in the world. It's first come, first served and even in late August, it filled up late in the afternoon.
Cabelas is reportedly having some financial difficulty now, and I can see why, if they run the retail stores like they do this RV Park. If I were a betting man, I would bet at least 50% of those staying at this park do not pay the fee for their overnight stay. Sort of like those who stay at the Wal-Mart parking lots. At any rate, Cabelas has to be losing a huge amount of money on a daily basis.
Like all of the rest, dogs and RV Parks do not mix: irresponsible owners. There's a lot of road noise and big rigs idling all night in the Cabelas parking lot. - chrisnr1
Aug 2016 - $27.00
No reservations, first come, first serve basis. No available attendants.
Sorry to say, a Company as large as Cabela's, especially at their Corporate Headquarters Location cannot provide reservation service and attendants for their RV park.
We travel from Louisiana to Wyoming each year. Cabela's RV Sidney is normally a two day stop over for our annual Cabala shopping spree.
But it's frustrating to arrive after driving 400 - 500 miles with no place to dock. This has happened twice in recent years. Both times we had to continue on to Cheyenne, WY, arriving late and into the night time dark hours.
Although we enjoy staying here, we no longer chance not having a place to dock. - Jobe
Jun 2016 - $20.00
You used to be able to reserve a spot but not anymore. It's first come first serve to all sites. You can either pay at drop box by office or pay inside store as we did so I can use my Cabelas points. Arrive about 2 hours before dark to get a spot cause the park fills up by darkness. Sites are gravel and fairly level with full hookups. Bathrooms, showers, and laundry are all located in the office building and number code needed to get in. This is a great overnight park. - Tracy Bounder
