This city park is excellent for a short stay or for a long stay. The park has a fenced in dog area so that your furry family members can run and play. There is no charge for camping, but you can leave a donation if you want. Lots of trees in the park provide cool shade on a hot day. Dump station is a little tricky to find. It is on Paw Print Drive next to the baseball diamond and across from the elementary school. Our Verizon internet, ATT cell phones and Dish Satellite all worked well in this park. There is a set of train tracks across the road from the park, but the trains don't run that often, so we hardly noticed them. We camped at Lincoln Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

The fee is based on "donation" and an iron ranger. (We always leave a good amount when they are allowing you the honor system). The campground had a few minor problems, just to be aware of. 30 amp only. Almost impossible to turn around if you go past the camping area; we had to unhook the toad. The sites (back-in) are pretty well laid out. The local police patrolled a few times, and overall a nice little park in a nice little town. Had a huge Nebraska storm blow through that night and the weather warnings on our phone were tested. No damage, though. This park has some very huge, very old trees standing there. Would definitely stay there if in the area again. We camped at Lincoln Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Excellent shade trees. Facilities dated, but adequate. Concrete pads. Located in Lincoln Park behind high school. Playground equipment, horseshoe pits, etc. Dump station available. Fee drop box at site. No signs to Park, but ask any of the local, friendly Nebraskans. We camped at Lincoln Park in a Fifth Wheel.
