Great location just off I-80. Current owners have only owned it for less than 2 years and they are working hard on improvements. Nice full-through sites, clean restrooms/showers, big off-leash dog park. Coffee served in the office each morning. Owners very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

The park is owned by a very polite young couple that live on site. The park is very convenient to I-80 but there was little road noise. The sites are spaced out and the roads were easy to maneuver with a Big Rig. All the facilities worked well. There is a warning for high nitrate in the water. If you're coming in on the weekend, be sure to have reservations as the park fills on the weekends. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

Best wi-fi ever, in a campground. Nice fenced dog park. A few long term campers, a couple pretty rough. This is an old campground recently purchased by a couple who are upgrading the place. Nice people. Good overnite stop.

Beware of the water as mentioned, contaminated by local farming. Don't drink the water! Our site was roomy. Laundry room had older appliances but it was clean and they all worked. Nothing at the exit, out in the boonies! We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean campground! The owners are working constantly to make it even better! We enjoyed the sparkling pool and the mini golf. Wish we could have stayed the weekend for outdoor movie night. The sites are level gravel sites with grassy area with swing, picnic table and fire ring at each site. Large off leash dog park was great for our fur kids! No negatives for us here. Great stay! We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a delightful park. The owners live in the park and are working hard to refurbish it. They say it was badly run down before they bought it. So many charming touches: Adirondack chairs and porch swings that the owner and his father built, lovely views of golf course and pond, daily trash pickup at each campsite. Good-sized dog run. Easy access off I-80, but be be sure to turn south, not north toward Waco. It's spacious and gracious. Yes, freeway noise. But you can't have both convenience and quiet. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Truck Camper.

Arrived after a bad storm the night before and the owner was working hard getting everything back to normal. The couple that own the park are very friendly and eager to make your stay enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again. Internet is one of the best we've used. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

This facility is near the interstate but the traffic noise was not disturbing. The sites are well spaced so you don't feel crowded. Each site has grass and most have trees. They have power and water hookups and some sewer hookups. They do have a dump station. There is a warning about the high nitrate content in the water and we did notice it stained the filter we use. We drank bottled water to avoid the contaminated water. We stayed overnight on a weekend and the campground was filled with locals with lots of kids. We camped on our return trip during the week and it was quiet and peaceful. The campground manager were very nice. Would stay their again. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Nice family run park. We had a large site with plenty of space on the door side. The hard-packed gravel site area was a little narrow, but my 42 ft. fifth wheel fit fine. We used both the showers and bathroom, both were very clean. This looks like a nice family oriented campground with a large playground and big pool. There are arcade games in the office and putt putt golf is included in the fee. We had good electric with 121 volts on each leg of the 50 amp outlet. While close to I-80, road noise was not an issue. Wi-Fi was just upgraded and is one of the best speeds we've had it a campground. Water pressure was also adequate. Lots of open area to set up a satellite. Our site did not have a sewer connection, but there is a dump site. We would definitely stay here again. There is no cable TV. Would have rated a 10 if sewer and cable were available. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice folks, nice place. Don't remember site number. They have 53 sites which were built from the 120 that were there when they bought the place a couple of years ago. The sites are long enough for any rig and all are pull through. They have a pool. They have ice and firewood available at a reasonable price. This is a very nice clean park. There is a nice clean laundry available. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a sky light blow out of our trailer and the owner volunteered to go up on the roof and screwed a board over it. It was supposed to rain the next day of our way home. He didn't want any pay for doing it either. This is the 4th time we have stayed there and we will continue staying there when we come thru that area. We also advise friends to stay there. Fantastic campground and hosts. They have putt-putt and a pool in the camp ground. Thanks again. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful and well maintained campground. Lots of shade although we chose an open site for our satellite. This park has a pristine pool, miniature golf, dog park. There are porch swings scattered throughout the park. Only drawback is you either need to be prepared food-wise or unhook your vehicle, as there is nothing within walking distance. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely camp here again. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Motorhome.

An older campground that was allowed to run down with new owners that are putting a real effort into bringing it back.

Far enough from the freeway that the noise is not too bad.

Plus they have a large storm shelter (there was a tornado warning to the west)

We'd probably stay here again. We camped at Double Nickel Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Well maintained park with lots of amenities, including a very clean swimming pool, mini golf & playground, arcade, laundry, decent wifi. Well-maintained lawn & trees, with many porch swings throughout the camp gave it a peaceful, friendly atmosphere. The owners live onsite & are very friendly & caring. Our big rig & tow had ample room in the generously sized pull-through, with 50 amp & water. The park has very easy access off I-80, but that also means highway noise.
