Very nice people run this park. Looks like they are in the middle of upgrading. Front pull through safe spacious. Easy enough to get into, nice gas station/store in front, easy to get in and out of even hooked up to trailer. Quiet at night, even with 93 running nearby. Great stop on the way to Idaho. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Everything worked, park is simply a large dirt parking lot with no ambience or aesthetically redeeming qualities. Check-in was efficient, lady in the office was pleasant and helpful. Located on a busy street. It was okay for an overnight stop only. Easy in and out due to wide open parking lot style. There aren't many choices in the area. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Back to back pull through sites quite narrow. Hostess kept wanting me to get too close to utilities for my slides. I do not believe there is room for another big rig next to me now with my slides out. Good TV. Good 50A power. Do not plan to eat out on Monday night as the only restaurant (Mexican) is closed that night. I guess there is a grocery store in town. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Motorhome.

We pulled in to Picketts very early one day to avoid the high winds. Welcoming greeting at the gate and guidance to park; friendly, efficient check-in with lots of information about next door restaurant, local groceries, etc. All gravel park with some shade, pull-through and back-in sites, all with full hook-ups.

We backed in at the back of the park; sites would be VERY close if the park had been full. As it was, it felt spacious and we had beautiful, large, rustling trees, a babbling creek and a peaceful view out the back window.

The Internet is strong, cable good. Laundry is immaculate as are restrooms --- complete with BATHTUBS!! There is a small book exchange available, too.

All in all, a lovely haven from the wind, friendly, helpful managers. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

New owners and new management at this park. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are clean and well maintained. There are several long pull-throughs if you don't want to unhitch. There are also about 10 back-in sites next to the trees and creek. There is some noise from the store next door, but it is not disruptive. The new manager is building up a small book exchange near the laundry room. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Came in after dark and they still welcomed us! Long pullthru site with full hookups and 70 psi water pressure.

Sites gravel, clean and level. A night light on the water post to help you when you hook up.

Will stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Motorhome.

If you are a geocacher, then this is the place to be! There are thousands of geocaches close by on the Extraterrestrial Hwy and surrounding area. This is a clean, well run park. The managers are new so old complaints are no longer relevant. Very nice, helpful people. Sites are gravel and level. Be aware of possible electrical problems, as we found no ground at our site but were quickly moved to another with good 50 amp service. The surrounding mountains and green valley are beautiful. This is definitely a spot to return to. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean park with level sites. The owners were very considerate and kind. We were led to our site, and he assisted my husband getting pulled in. The wifi is better than most we have been in. Someone had posted this was an RV park with lots of garbage from the permanent residents, but that isn't so. Maybe they were in a different park? We would stay here again on our travels. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Perfectly level sites. Wide pull thrus with plenty of maneuvering room. Friendly staff. Propane available. Three sewer hookups per site. front, middle and back. Good cable, 48 channels. Water pressure great, no regulator needed. Would stay here again. Great restaurant/bakery 2 miles north of town called Windmill Ridge. Fuel and post office close by. Not much to look at park but for an overnight after driving 585 miles it was just what I needed. Friendly check in, had to ask if they took Good Sam to get my discount, they did so that was a plus. A list of the cable TV channels would have been nice and I suggested that. Gas station and Mexican restaurant close by for the road-weary. Quiet place to rest your head for the night. I would stay again. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Stayed here for two days and thought it was quite over-priced for what you got. It was all soft gravel with side-by-side hook-ups and the pull throughs were actually two back-to-back back-ins. They were only pull throughs when both ends were empty. Restrooms and showers were clean but there is only two rooms. Laundry area was very cramped with some machines in a garden shed. Would only stay here again if the price was more reasonable. We camped at Picketts RV Park (formerly Alamo RV Park) in a Motorhome.
