3 RV Parks near Ash Springs, Nevada
Nov 2017 - $25.00
We stop here occasionally during our annual Fall / Spring migration. Best call ahead for reservations if during peak "snowbird" traveling season as there are only a few spots. Folks in office are nice and have a little Deli there. Sites are gravel and level. Can be a little "cramped" for big rigs if place is full. There were nice enough to let us park on edge of property for free one time through as the park was full. - bmwhacker

Pull through spaces beside the Shell station. We came in after dark and our GPS led us to "Park Road". Don't go in that way, turn in at the Shell Station. Just electric and water. Pay at the Shell station which also has good food. You wouldn't know it but they have seating in the back to eat. Ok for spending the night. - Russell G
Oct 2017 - $25.00
Small stopping spot. Out in middle of Nevada. Behind a service station. When we pulled up out front had a moment of, let's keep going. Question is going to where?
But don't let that cause you to keep going.
Felt safe, well lite up at night. It's small and funky. - Bobcat1
Oct 2018 - $36.00
Nice quiet little park for a quick overnight stay. Super friendly. Easy self check in on Sunday. One of the regulars helped us get in the spot. Really wide pull through, no problem with or 43 foot fifth wheel w 3 slides. Nice office in a old mobile home. This isn't a destination site, clean and older. Able to get LP on Monday morning. Again, really nice people that run the place. - Mads01
Apr 2018 - $32.00
It's a small park and okay for an overnight stay. The sites are narrow, but they are staggered so it's not quite as claustrophobic as it could be. Water and electric are good. Easy in, easy out. - Gator67

Friendly folks running the park. Supper easy pull thrus with what amounts to a vacant normal space on each side of us with this back to back layout. Cross a street and up the stairs and your at the town market. Three doors down a side street and a family Mexican American restaurant will fill you up from 8:00am to 8:00 pm. This is a small park with folks who want your visit to be fun and it was. - paulg

This CG is a nice, clean, and beautiful site. It has wonderful views of the lake from all the sites. Picnic table, huge fire pit ring, and leveled gravel spot for parking. There are nice walking trails around the lake. Only downside is the highway is right next to this CG so the traffic noise can get frequent and loud depending on the day/time. We didn't notice any traffic noise at night while sleeping though. - BiroClan

Came upon Pahranagat NWR last spring. A perfect overnight setting and a nice trail around the lake. Close to the highway but after about 8PM there was no traffic. We'll be back! - Sara - Doug

This is a small FREE camping area located between the highway and the lake. The sites are widely spaced (we are two campers together in my pic as we were traveling together) along a long gravel road. There are a lot of mature cottonwoods that provide nice shade. There are tent and RV spots and technically we were in a 1 RV or 2 car spot, but the camp host was ok with it. There was a lot of road noise, as these are very near the highway, but it was somewhat less at night. There are two pit toilets, one at each end of the camp road, that were very clean. There is a 3 mile walking trail along the lake that was a nice morning walk. We were joined by a blue heron in the water near us both in the evening and morning we were here. Note, there is no notice of the turn to the campground if you are coming from the north. The sign is around a slight curve behind a hill so look carefully. I can't remember exactly what our cell coverage was, but we have ATT and it was good enough to stream a video. - ALbums
