Stayed over a pass through to pull the trailers up into the mountains in the cooler mornings. It is a flat open gravel area with diagonal pull through sites along the side of the highway 95. Very friendly staff. No reason not to stay here on a pass through night or two. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Tips for other Campers:
The Rebel gas station has open areas to get diesel that can handle trailers nicely.
Stayed one nite on our way to Pahrump. Park is a primitive type with full hook ups, outside of a laundry room, there are no amenities, which was fine for us. Loved listening to all the sounds in the a.m. and P.M. Owner was very nice. Will stay here again on our way thru. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very friendly atmosphere. The gentleman who checked us in went above and beyond with helping us. He personally walked us to our site, showed us the hook-ups, and was super super nice. We had a problem with the location of our sewer connection on our motorhome and he came back and drilled a new hole location. It worked out perfectly. Would highly recommend this campground!! We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Great place to stop over on a long drive. Welcoming, fun employee greeted us. Basic campground but with the nice tiled shower and warm welcome, we will stop there again next time through! Weak wifi. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $25.00
Small dusty gravel campground with mostly "pull thrus" (each site has two sets of hookups so it is pull thru only if yours is the only rig). Sites mostly level and long enough for big rig with toad without unhooking. Entry road is a tad narrow, but no problem with a bit of care and no one going out the in. Power ok (voltage sagged to 113v under load), did not use other utilities. Wifi had good signal strength, but it is Hughes satellite, so rather slow. Moderate Verizon signal with ok data speeds. We will stay here again for an overnight. We might also consider staying here for a week to explore the northern part of Death Valley. Downside is it is a lot further away than the Stovepipe Wells campground; upside is cell phones work. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $24.00
After seeing the poor RV parks in Tonopah, we drove on to Beatty. This park was perfect for our needs for an overnight stop. There were several sites long enough for our 34' Class A plus a tow car without unhitching. The site was level and the water and electric hookups were just fine. The 30 amp voltage was 115 volts without a load. There is cable TV but the Wi-Fi was not very good. We were in walking distance to restaurants, a casino, and there is a market on site. There are a few trees so there is a little shade. We did not use the restrooms or laundry. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again when visiting Death Valley or just passing through. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00
This small and friendly park is mostly a place to stop on the way. It is directly on a busy highway so traffic noise is very noticeable. Interior roads and sites are contiguous level gravel; very easy to maneuver unless you accidently enter via the exit at the north end of the park. Restrooms and showers are spacious, clean and attractive. Wi-fi was only adequate but other utilities were good. AT&T phone and data signals were good in the area. We would be happy to stay here again. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Good spot for an overnight stay. As mentioned before it is on 95 but quiet at night. Free Wi-Fi, no TV, 2 bath/shower combo's - clean. Owner very nice and helpful. Nothing special here; no shade or trees,it was hot so stayed in motor home. It is about 3 miles north of town. In June 2013 we stayed in town at another RV park; this was a good one also with pool access, trees have grown. We just did this place because it was less $ and we were passing through to Oregon. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: December, 2013 - $25.00
The campground is just off of highway 95, but road noise was negligible. The shower stall was nicely-tiled, spacious, and very clean. Bathroom also came equipped with a heater (very welcome on a freezing night). We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $30.00
We had a very nice stay at Beatty Nevada, very friendly staff. The park was very clean including the restrooms. The Wi-Fi also works very good, several places to eat and gamble in town. Death Valley National Park is close by if you would like to visit, along with the Ghost Town of Rhyolite. We will return to this park. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $25.00
Great park for the money. Nice wide level sites (gravel) and park looks well maintained. Close to road but not much traffic at night. 50 amp at each site. No TV of any kind unless you bring your dish. Cell phone reception good. Owner friendly and helpful. Would stay here again. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a basic, no frills campground with easy, on/off access. It is a clean, level, gravel parking lot with 50 amp service. Owners were very friendly and gave us good information about the area. We came through in July so they weren't very busy and we were able to pull into the front row with our tow still attached. If I had to stay in Beatty, I would stay here again, especially after seeing the other available parks. One I wouldn't even think about stopping and the other seemed overpriced at 38.50 for the area and what also looks like a gravel parking lot. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $25.00
This park looks very basic as you drive into it and doesn't have a lot of amenities, but don't let that put you off. The lady who checked us in came out from the office to greet us as we drove in and was very cheerful and welcoming. She escorted us to our spot and made sure we were settled in OK. The sites are gravel and set up a little unusually. Rigs are parked first in one row and then rigs are parked in a row behind the first row. Rigs in the first row can drive out frontwards, but those in the row behind must back out unless the one in front has departed. The bathrooms are unisex and there are just two of them, but they are spotlessly clean and attractive. It appeared that they had been very recently remodeled. Each restroom has a toilet, sink and very large tiled shower. WiFi worked well. This was a very good deal for the price and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $25.00
We really liked this place. It is rustic but clean and on the highway but not noisy at all at night. We had to leave the RV and go to Elko for 4 days and the management was very nice in parking us in a spot up close to the manager. They kept an eye on it while we were gone. Price was right. We camped at Beatty RV Park in a Motorhome.
