An older park built before the days of big rigs. It is in no way big rig friendly. We had one of the longest sites (a pull-in). At 44' our nose was up against the embankment while our Jeep was parked sideways behind the rig with part of the Jeep sticking out into the access road (even with it so close you could barely get out the driver's door).
Asphalt access roads (mostly narrow). Mix of pull thrus, back-ins, and pull-ins. Sites are gravel and relatively level. Back-ins and pull-ins share a utility pedestal. Our site was trashy with dozens of cigarette butts scattered over the site.
Power ok, water 50psi, sewer ok. Wifi good signal and with fluctuating speed (between crawling and 5.5 Mbps). However note that password is tower dependent so if you can't get in, verify with the office you have the password that matches the tower.
We will not be back. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

The park has paved roads and gravel sites. It is in town but easy to get in and out. The sites are average width the length is ok but you have to unhook if you have a long rig. We have stayed here before and found it to be a great spot. The staff are friendly and very helpful and thanked us for returning. All the services worked fine. It was fairly full but very quite during our stay. We would return again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Pull thru site but had to unhook, 40ft motor home and tow dolly too long. Spots were level. Friendly staff. Cable will not work on older TV's. Park was quiet. Convenient to Hoover Dam. Short trip to Las Vegas. Would stay here again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo
Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $32.00
We stayed here while visiting Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Very nice campground. Sites are very tight for a large camper. The staff was very friendly when we arrived and answered any questions we had. It was a quiet park at night. We did notice that there seemed to be several seasonals but they kept their sites clean and picked up. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
Lots of nice stores in Boulder city for shopping. Good place to visit Hoover Dam and Lake Mead. Las Vegas is only 25 miles away if you want to stay outside of the city.
Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $25.00
Level parking in a pull-thru on gravel. Streets are paved. Showers & bathrooms not used much (it seemed) but were clean. WiFi kept disconnecting me except for the first day. It is close to Hoover Dam, Arizona, and Las Vegas without being full of people. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. Laundry has eight washers and eight dryers in one area and another couple of both in the next room. Laundry was clean with lots of reading material. Rate is based on a weekly rate. TV was okay, but I used my antenna to get the channels I wanted. I would stay here again, but don't plan on being near Las Vegas ever again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo

Great park - almost empty as they have mostly snow birds Nov-April. Easy access. Paved roads, level gravel sites. Some small trees. Great place to stay while visiting Vegas, The Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and Boulder City! Very nice downtown area with their own brewing company. Art work along the streets downtown. Good Sam. Cable TV and wifi worked good. Would stay here again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Very nice campground with friendly staff. Owners were also very nice and helpful. We met some of the other campers and they were very friendly. Close to Hoover Dam and also close enough to Las Vegas but far enough away to avoid the crowds & traffic. The owner said they are going to add a pool and spa soon. We will return when in the area. Nice park for overnight/passing thru. Restrooms & showers clean & excellent water pressure. Wifi was free & excellent. Did not use cable TV. Management/owner was very nice & helpful. We stayed in space 85, near restrooms....there is room for car or tow next to motor home but we didn't need to unhitch tow, there was just enough length for both (32 + tow). Park is in an industrial area, quiet at night, not much to see...long terms were parked around the sides (back ins), clean quiet. It was very hot, hardly any shade but fine for an overnight. This is a very nice RV park where the wifi actually works well. The people at the front desk were very nice. There are great places to walk your dog right outside the boundaries of the park and you have easy access to them. They do have a dog walk area but the outside areas were so nice we did not go there. We got a pull through site. It was wide but not quite long enough for the coach and the toad. There was plenty of room to park the toad on the side of the RV. The site was gravel and very level. The roads are wide and easy to maneuver around. The location is great. It is easy to get in and out of the campground. We would definitely come here again. Nice park for a trip to Hoover Dam or Lake Mead. The sites are level and are firm gravel with enough room for slides on both sides. The bathrooms were very clean. We would stay here again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Rate is after 10% AAA discount for a full hookup pull through site. Site was fine gravel, fairly level and just large enough to hold the 5er and the truck. No privacy between sites. Some trees, however. The location in an industrial area makes for a quiet night. Very close to a grocery store. We did not use washrooms, thus can't comment. Our Verizon MiFi worked well, no idea about the quality of the park's WiFi. Lots of washing machines in the laundry. Friendly staff. Very well maintained park overall. We can recommend this park, but will try the dry camping campground at the lake next time. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

We came here for a couple of nights just to visit Hoover Dam, which is very convenient. Also it is very close to Vegas, although we didn't bother. The park is family owned and operated - very friendly folks on the phone. The park is well kept and neat. Everything in good condition. Roads are paved and sites are crushed stone. Our site was level. Very convenient to groceries, hardware, etc. I would return here without hesitation. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Great RV park when visiting Vegas. Rate reflects monthly charge. Within walking distance to beautiful, downtown Boulder City. Wi-Fi worked well, but our site was close to office. Sites are level and sufficiently wide for a four-slide 36' RV. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Propane delivery to site. Great views of the desert and mountains to the south and west of Boulder City. Christmas dinner on Sunday with campground providing ham and prime rib and campers bringing side dishes. Will definitely stay her again when visiting in-laws in Vegas. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

Set in an Industrial area. No tables, very bright lights all night. Spaces are tight, gravel and asphalt. Baths were clean. Office was helpful. Wi-Fi is another case of telling you that you'll have it and you don't. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.Undo

We really like this quiet park. They are very pet friendly, except there should be warnings posted at the park and at the entrance to a city-run beautification area. Desert newcomers, like us, need to watch out for jumping cactus if taking advantage of all the surrounding open land for some off-leash or bicycle adventures. There is a veterinarian around the corner, as well as numerous fast-food joints and grocery stores, all within walking distance for healthy people. The dog walk is adequate, and there are large recycling dumpsters available, a nice plus. The WiFi is a joke and it so iffy, it should not even be advertised as an amenity. The cable channel selection is great, but reception isn't. We tried two different sites and it's the same, most channels are grainy on the larger TVs. We would stay here again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
