This was our second time here and it was just for one night, but again I was so pleased with it. Easy in, easy out, pull through that was level gravel. Utilities worked as they were supposed to. The sites are gravel and the streets are asphalt and plenty wide. There are trees but they are small and don't help much with the heat and sun. I loved that there are 2 dog areas. I can't find a thing wrong with this place. It is in the desert so of course there is no grass which is all that I thought was missing. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed 2 weeks daily rate based on weekly divided by 7. Easy in an out of park and sites. Good size pull thrus. Dog runs small but across the street from park is a vacant lot with trails to walk your dog. Park provides a key to the gate to access the area. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

My review echoes that of the others. This is a clean, functional park that is easy to reach, has 50' length to each site and each site is wide enough to park your towed car next to the rig. But that's all the room you have. Roads are paved, sites are gravel. Front desk personnel and check in were excellent. We only styled one night with a 40' plus tow. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Had to cut our 2 week stay to one due to problems with our coach. Really liked it here, people friendly, office staff always helpful. Will stay again when in the area. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The site we were in was a bit tight for our 40' motorhome and toad. Had a tree on either side along with a light pole. Other sites seemed to have more room.

We've used this place before for an overnight stay. The price has gone up since 2 years ago. Decent pull-thru space, close sites (side by side). There seems to be more full/part timers than last time. There are 2 dog areas, just ok, but fenced. It seems even with bags and shovel provided people do not clean up after their pets-disappointing! No signage on main highway.
Nice friendly staff, wifi worked fine, didn't use TV. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed here for two weeks. 25 miles from Downtown Vegas. Friendly and helpful owners. Park, Bathroom and showers clean. Site spacing is good. WIFI was upgraded and worked very good, faster than most RV parks we have stayed at. ATT cell service good. Pet friendly park. Park has a lot of of monthly/seasonals, most sites are clean and organized, However there are a few seasonal sites that are junky (detract from the overall appearance) and could use a good cleaning out of junk and storage items. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have a 30' motor home with a short tow car. The spaces are a bit short but decently wide. I believe they said they are all 50' deep. The office staff was nice and helpful. There is no shade or landscaping to speak of. Nice place to stay for a night. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

About 25 miles to Las Vegas. Very clean with well paved roads and level gravel sites. Small trees, but not much shade ( as is common to the area ). Management was very friendly and helpful. We would have rated this park a 10 except for poor wifi. However, upgrades to the wifi were being made while we were there. Highly recommended if you want a quiet park with easy access to Vegas, Henderson, or Boulder City. Pet friendly (people friendly too). We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Super friendly staff. Paved roads and level gravel sites with FHU and cable. Some small trees for a bit of shade. Recently finished adding a pool and jacuzzi, but we didn't have a chance to use. Great quiet place in the Vegas vicinity with a nice small-town atmosphere. Rate was based on weekly with 50A electric. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Stayed two nights while visiting Lake Mead - very convenient location for that. We're just 30 feet with a toad, but we had plenty of space. Friendly office staff. Wi-Fi was fine for us. Pool looked nice, but we had no time to enjoy. We would return if in the area. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

An older park built before the days of big rigs. It is in no way big rig friendly. We had one of the longest sites (a pull-in). At 44' our nose was up against the embankment while our Jeep was parked sideways behind the rig with part of the Jeep sticking out into the access road (even with it so close you could barely get out the driver's door).

Asphalt access roads (mostly narrow). Mix of pull thrus, back-ins, and pull-ins. Sites are gravel and relatively level. Back-ins and pull-ins share a utility pedestal. Our site was trashy with dozens of cigarette butts scattered over the site.

Power ok, water 50psi, sewer ok. Wifi good signal and with fluctuating speed (between crawling and 5.5 Mbps). However note that password is tower dependent so if you can't get in, verify with the office you have the password that matches the tower.

We will not be back. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is one of the very few in town, which explains the high rate - $40 without Good Sam. The only reason I stayed here was to wait for an RV fixit guy to come fix something. Sites are close together, gravel, small trees that really don't provide shade. I was only 3 units from the wifi repeater - it didn't work. They're "planning" on a new system, but without a higher antenna, it won't work well. I had to sit in the clubhouse to do any internet. Pathetic for the cost! We camped at Canyon Trail RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hoover Dam - Lake Mead Recreation Area - they have great camping but no hookups (water and toilets available) and take the National Pass.

This is a great park and the owners are very helpful. The whole park was very clean and well-kept. Some sites are a little tight for larger rigs so let them know your size when you make a reservation. We will stay here again when we return to the area. The nightly cost reflects a monthly rate.
