We stayed here for 6 weeks. Easy access to Las Vegas while being away from the hustle and bustle. Good Verizon and AT&T coverage. Also best campground WiFi we experienced. We stayed on the upper tier and the sites are nice and long and can easily accommodate large rigs. Hookups are in the perfect spot. Small concrete pad on “living” side.

Couple of things we don’t like; sites are very skinny so it’s tight. Slides out with your neighbor are like a jenga game. Also the small pea gravel used to cover sites is constantly getting tracked into the RV. Is the most expensive monthly rate we’ve paid since being on the road full time for a year. Also, the park is inside a National Park so either have a National Park Pass or know you have to pay extra to get into the area. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

We stayed in an upper terrace pull through overlooking Lake Mead. The mornings just before sunrise were breathtaking. The pull through site was very long (we didn't have to unhook our motorcycle trailer) and the hookups were in all the right places. There was a nice picnic table and the sky was wide open for satellite reception. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

It was very hot so thankfully there was a marina a mile down the road where you can rent pontoon and speed boats. And there is a Colorado rafting company that picks up at the office.

We've been staying here for over a decade now for weekend get-a-ways, shake-down trips and events at the lake. I can't say enough good things about this park. It never disappoints us. The staff can be a little grumpy, but one, despite being out in the heat on a golf cart all day is super cool and very helpful. One word of advice. Get one of the lake view sites. The sites further back in the gravel kinda blow, and you don't get a good view of the lake. Stay in the lake view sites. Everyone repeat this with me. Stay in the Lake View sites. Where do we want to say in this campground? That's right, the lake view sites. It's 105 everyday this weekend, we're running 3 ACs full blast 24 hours a day with no problems. They have full hook-ups on both sides of the site so you can back in OR nose and still have all the connections on the correct side of your rig. Nosing in with your motor home make for a spectacular view of the lake. The mountains just glow during the sunsets. Don't miss that. Anyway, a GREAT place to say all year round. Lots of permanent folks here so please be courteous. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do here just at the lake. Check out the Rail Road tunnel trail Walking or cycling is permitted. Pets are welcome as well. Swimming beach at the lake. Bring/wear shoes of some sort. It's really rocky in and out of the water. River Mountain bike trail. 35-ish miles round trip. LOTS of BIG LONG HILLS so be prepared, but it's really fun. Cool downtown with a brewery and a couple of distilleries in Boulder City. Plenty of Casinos and shopping in Boulder City and Henderson.

Lots of room for big rigs. Roads are paved and wide. Sites are VERY long and gravel with zero shade. Utilities were OK... I had issues with my 30A breaker tripping, but the camp host let me connect to an adjacent power pedestal. Had some issues with dumping where my hose backed up, making me think their vent was not working properly, but I got everything dumped anyway. There are lots of activities... boating, swimming, hiking/walking, biking, plus you are right at the Hoover Dam. But shopping and restaurants are 20 min away in Boulder City, or further. VG connectivity for VzW and WiFi was strong, but they only give you a passcode for ONE device. If you are there in the summer, be prepared... every day we camped was well over 100 F. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our third time in this park and probably our last. Each time it is shabbier and shabbier. Now they have to rusty construction trailers in front of rows 8 & 9 so you can't see the lake. We didn't come to Lake Mead to stare at rusty trailers. This place needs a lot of upkeep. Forever Resorts takes better care of their Grand Canyon sites than this one. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

This park is very clean and has spectacular scenery. Almost everything worked perfectly. The only problem we had was with the cable connector, but we were able to fix it. It was a short drive to Hoover Dam. We would definitely return to this resort. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a large RV Park on the shore of Lake Meade. There are many full-time homes in the park. You are several hundred yards from the shore of lake Meade, views are limited. You are close to Las Vegas (30 minutes) Hoover damn and other locations in the area. We had a easy access pull thru but sites are close together with no shade. Fire pits are available but ours was in an inconvenient location, near our front tire. Biggest distraction for me was the constant drone of the site seeing helicopters over the Lake and Damn. Starts about 8 am and goes all day. This is a National Park with several hiking paths in the park. We did the Railway trail. Easy hike with nice vistas of the lake and the opportunity to walk through several old railway tunnels that serviced the dam construction. Nice way to build an appetite. Would stay again. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here many times over the years. If you get a good spot you have a view of the lake, which gets lower every year. The pull thru spots are very narrow. If you have slides on both sides you have to be careful that you are not touching the neighbors slides. There are big spots in what they call the lakeside row. The laundry room is disgusting. Most of the time at least two or three washers are out of order. There are only six washers (when they are all working) and three dryers for their 100+ spaces. There are no activities at the clubhouse. Lots of barking dogs and kids riding bicycles up and down the roads as there is nothing for kids to do. There is no shade. Cable does not have a great picture. Wi-Fi has been upgraded is works most of the time. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

This was one of our least favorite parks. I'm sure it's more fun during the summer, but in the winter, there is nothing extra to do here. There are tons of mobile homes around the park, to be used as vacation homes, but they look run down. Many RV's are run down and dirty. Did not feel safe, judging from the surrounding neighbors. Laundry room needs updating - out of 9 machines, 4 of them were broken. Sites are narrow - our slide out was 18 inches from our neighbor's. Would not recommend. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice park and staff. We were in an 8th Street pull through site with a great view of Lake Mead. My view at my site was good, but pay the extra $$ and get a back-in site in the first row off the lake. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

We stay here every time we're in the Vegas area. Really like this park. Always stay in the lakefront sites which are very spacious and offer hookups on both sides, so you can face in or back in - your choice. Sites are always clean and groomed. 50 amp power is strong and stable. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

This is the full hookup campground on Lake Mead, or actually, very close. We didn't have a pricy lake view site, ours was already over priced. We had a patio, though. Too hot to sit outside until night fall. Both our AC's were kickin all the time. No dog area, limited grassy area for them. Staff was nice. Sites were kind of close together. Good cable, fairly good wifi. Good TV antenna reception. Lots of hot water, even from the cold faucet. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Fifth Wheel.

I'm not sure whether or not some of the reviews for this park are for this actual park (they have 3 locations) as they descriptions are so different form our experience. We stayed at Lake Mead Boulder Beach. We stopped here for an overnight in April 2016. We considered the pretty and shady state park right next door to this spot (so close, we walked through it on way down to the beach), but the no generator rule and no electricity kept us away...it was hot enough that we wanted our A/C! Our concrete pad was level and had ample space (packed gravel) around us had there been other campers next door. There was a picnic table on the gravel area. I downloaded a photo for anyone wanting to see what the Lake View sites look like. We chose a head-in site, with FHU, right on the water and the sunset view was spectacular! Very peaceful. We walked around the park and noticed a good bit of full-timers. There is an area with permanent motorhomes with decks, but no residents during our stay. Don't let that scare you off as this is pretty typical in this part of the country...they were all well-maintained and "cute". The streets are wide and the park is easy to navigate. It's also very clean. There weren't any trees in our section and few in the park, so I imagine the sun gets pretty intense during the heat of the summer. Thankfully, that wasn't an issue when we were there (April). We walked down to the "beach" to check things out, but it was/is a longer walk than it looks, so it may be a bit too much for some folks. We were very impressed with this park and would definitely stay here again when out that way. We paid about $40 with Good Sam and were in a 25' Motorhome. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for one overnight before dropping off our rented RV in Las Vegas. This very large park was close to the drop off point and also had the advantage of not being one of the crowded and expensive parks closer to Las Vegas. It appeared there were several permanent residents. Staff was friendly and helpful. Wifi worked well - be aware they provide only one password per site. There are no trees but a great view of Lake Mead. Our site had full hookups. The bath house was kept clean and you needed a key to enter it. There were two shower stalls in the women's room but only one large dressing area! There was a camp store and another building that appeared to be some sort of club house for permanent residents. I am not aware of any recreational facilities like a pool or playground. The park served its purpose as an overnight stop for us. We camped at Lake Mead RV Village in a Motorhome.

Our site was not level. Appear that others near us weren't either! Nice park built on tiers - bushes need to be cut back a little so the lake is visible. There is a long row of sites that front on the lake. Didn't know about them before we arrived. Sites in among the park homes. Internet was slow and intermittent.
