Stayed here because we lost a wheel on the tow vehicle. Rate was excellent. Park was small, clean and quiet. Owners were very nice and very helpful and willing to help. Will return here next year and we'll stay for good reasons this time. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Loved this small campground. Friendly & very accommodating owners. We originally were only going to stay 2 days, but because of bad weather at the Great Basin NP, we stayed a month. Daily price was $25.00 for full hookup and owners credited that to our monthly rate of $287.00+ electric. I used their laundrymat, extremely clean & only $1.00 to wash & $1.00 to dry. Bathrooms & showers also were very clean. Just outside the park was a city walking/biking path. Caliente was a nice little railroad town. Definitely would stay again. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice and well maintained RV park. Clean restrooms and laundry. Only &1 each to wash and dry. Grocery store downtown with good prices for a small town. Also a new looking Familt Dollar. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Everything but the Wi-Fi worked fine. The trees bordering each site make it tough to swing a 40 ft motorhome in without brushing thru the branches. Was very quiet at night and would stop here again for a longer stay. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We were looking for a CG in the general area with full hookups after a week of boondocking. We're self contained and don't use the facilities except for an occasional shower. We stayed on a weeknight in early October in our 25 foot MH. This is a very nice RV Park. The owners are friendly and helpful and the park is meticulously maintained. Good-sized sites are lined up diagonally with gravel parking areas and grass between sites. There are separate areas for 30 and 50 amp rigs. All hookups are easy to access and worked well. The sites are mostly level or need a bit of leveling. There are trees to provide shade. A few sites are unshaded. The restroom and shower are dated yet clean with ample hot water. The park WiFi works well. There was good ATT and Verizon coverage. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a great RV park in the middle of nowhere Nevada. We stopped here for a couple of nights before driving to Great Basin National Park. Our spot was perfectly level. Each spot has a little bit of grass next to it. Everything is kept clean. Bathrooms are adequate and laundry was very reasonable priced. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

There are a couple of state parks nearby that are great - Cathedral Gorge and Kershaw-Ryan. The Caliente Food Mart (in the shopping center by the old train depot) is a pretty good grocery store with mostly reasonable prices.

We enjoyed our stay at this well-maintained park. Easy access to the highway and with a friendly and accommodating owner, the 50-amp sites are large, level gravel with a small tree and great views of the surrounding mountains. Good park WiFi and strong Verizon cell and data, with unobstructed views of TV satellites. Some long-term residents, but their sites were well maintained. A beautiful area with lots to see, we'll return again. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

OK RV park. Plenty of pull thru sites. The sites with 30 amp service have trees and shade. The 50 amp sites are in a field with little or no shade. None of the sites have fire pits. In the area we stayed (30 amp site) there are nice aluminum picnic tables but not enough for every camp site, so you may have to drag one from a vacant spot. There are grass areas between some of the sites; most of the park is hard packed dirt and some gravel so it is dusty. Bathrooms are clean, show are free, washer and dryer are $1.00 (although only one of the 2 dryers is working when we were there.) Union Pacific freight line passes nearby and you will hear the sound of an occasional passing train. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a great little park. There are a few long time residents, but their sites are clean and contained. Lots of shade trees and grass islands in between the sites. The WiFi is free and the signal is very strong and consistent. The washrooms are spotless and the women's even has a tub!. Laundry area only has 2 machines, but both work well and the cost is $1 per load to wash or dry. The owners live onsite and are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Our rate includes tax. Came this way from Vegas because we hadn't been this way to head on to Washington. What a nice park! Sites are gravel and level with 50/30 amp power. Water pressure is very good and the WiFi is great! Very fast! As previously stated, owners live on site and are very friendly. Good view of the surrounding hills. We stayed in space 39 as it was free of trees and great for our satellite. Would definitely stay here again when passing thru. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

A small, well run park. Lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. Very clean showers that were a pleasure to use. The ladies offered shower rooms (2), one with a shower, sink and toilet and one with a shower/tub combo, sink and toilet. Plenty of hot water, nicely heated in the winter. Men's showers were more rudimentary, with shared sinks, toilet stalls and showers separate, not as well heated as the ladies side. Park was very quiet and felt safe. Although pet friendly, there wasn't really anywhere to take the dogs to potty, other than along the edges of the park where it was just bare dirt and weeds/stickers. But, owners still ask that you pick up after pets. We stayed one night on our way north, and liked it, so we stayed again on our way home. A nice, quiet, clean and safe place to stay the night. We arrived after hours the first night, Owners had very good directions on price and how to pay after hours, which was appreciated after a long day of driving. We camped at Young's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
