This park is adorable! I read other people reviews about being bothered by noise and proximity of train tracks and was concerned at first, but the reality is we camped there for 6 nights and rarely heard the train, and it was never in the middle of the night anyway. The camp is very clean with manicured grassy areas, clean showers and restrooms, awesome clubhouse with pool table and huge TV screen, spacious laundry room. WiFi was pretty good most of the time. I liked the fact that you have a concrete pad by the RV (the site is gravel and pretty level). The girls at the front desk are super professional and friendly. I have to say the vibe of the city is super friendly in general. We enjoyed very much and will definitely stay again!!! We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Stopped here one night on our way east. Walking into the office was like walking into a nice hotel. Appears everything had been built in the last few years. Park grounds and sites were very clean and level. Showers, bathrooms and laundry were also inviting. Even had oversized showers for handicapped access. Just wish the showers would provide a bench or even cheap plastic seat to put towel and clothes on. Lots of amenities I wish we had had time to try like the spa, and access to the Hilton across the street. We would definitely return if in the area. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Didn't stay long here, but did visit Girabaldis restarant for some mexican food, about 2 miles west. Good service, and reasonable prices.

Everything about the park was great with one exception. One of the permanent guests proceeded to walk thru our site between our car and our coach. When my wife politely asked him not to, he flipped us both off with his middle finger. I doubt we'll ever stay here again due to this kind of clientele residing here. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very clean, very nice. Staff efficient and friendly. This is our 3rd time here. Will come back as we pass through. Site was a pull thru and almost perfectly level. We like the long sites as you can actually stagger with your neighbor. Hookups are both in the center so you are both facing the opposite directions. There is just 6-7 feet between you. On the passenger side your something like 30 feet apart. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Covers local and natural history. A highlight is the legendary art collection. Total 40,000 SF of art and exhibits. In down town Elko on Idaho Street. Overall Rating:

A very nice, we'll maintained campground which is owned by the Hilton Garden up the hill. You can use the hotel pool, spa, fitness center, and business center of the hotel. About half the sites are being used by full timers which looks pretty standard for most of the campgrounds in Nevada, lots of workers staying in the areas for jobs. WiFi and cable both good. Really quiet but close to stores and town. Would definitely stay again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here previously, and were glad to find that the park is still in great shape upon this visit. Office staff was top notch upon check in, and offered a choice of several sites. The property is well kept, clean, and secure. We usually make Elko a stopping point for the day, so that we can stay at Iron Horse for the night. We would certainly enjoy staying at the park for a longer period of time if we ever decided to spend a few days in Elko. We always walk up the hill and eat at the Hilton Garden Inn, using the discount offered by Iron Horse. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed one night on our way to South Dakota and one night on the way home to California. Check-in was easy (reservations made both times) and staff provided us with a map to our site. There are several long-term trailers but are very well maintained, neat and clean. Each space has a wood table, large cement area, and grass between sites. The actual sites are gravel and relatively easy to level. There are many pull-thru sites and several back-in spots. Spaces are close; however, trees break up the views between trailers. This RV park is very near a rail line so there will be some train noise during the night; minimal road noise. Very pleased with this property and will stay again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Iron Horse has an arrangement with Hilton Garden Inn where you can eat in their dining room and use their business center/pool/spa/fitnerss center. Albertson's Grocery is nearby and there is a Sinclair service station down the street with easy access for RVs.

Guests use the pool at the Hilton, it is very nice. The $32 spots are unlevel back ins with rocks instead of grass. Suits our needs. Third year in a row staying here. Laundry big clean and reasonably priced. Will stay again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Nice, new RV park located near the rail switch yard in Elko. We were assigned a back in site which worked out OK. Facilites were nice but the bathrooms got somewhat dirty by the end of the weekend. They need to have them cleaned more often on Saturday and Sunday when the park is full. There is noise from the trains at night but did not find it a problem. All things considered, Elko was a pleasant surprise and the park was very nice. Would stay here again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Very nice park with clean restrooms, ample parking and good location. Only two negative comments. The back-in sites are very slanted. Bring lots of leveling blocks or your front wheels will be 4-6 inches off the ground. Also the wifi was very spotty. Overall would stay again. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Use the discount cards provided by Iron Horse RV Park at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was nice with good food, and you can use their wifi as the campground wifi is not so good. Also the Ruby View Golf course is one of the best, small town municipal courses I have found. If you golf, go there.

We stayed here for one night on a cross country trip. It was hot, so we would have liked a pool in the park. We should have read the reviews first. We would have stopped elsewhere for the money. Dog run was on the other end of the park. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The only thing good I can say about this place is its super clean and it next to the Ford garage. The gravel pads aren't level. Trains blowing whistles three or four times a night. The staff in the office is clueless. We stayed here a week cause of truck problems. When I walked in the door I told them I had truck problems and they choose to put me in a pull through then when we couldn't get the truck repaired they told me I had to move, so I had to hire someone to move me five spots for 150.00. I could go on but I think I've made my point, there's at least 9 more campgrounds in town. This place is Way over priced, I left Maine in November and this is by far the worst place yet. We camped at Iron Horse RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
